Never did I think that I would owe so much to somebody I had previously never met. Claire was everything I could have ever hoped for, when I was introduced to her after being referred through my employer Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service. Having been diagnosed with PTSD, Claire was there for me every step of the way as I faced PTSD, determined to not only return to life and work, but to thrive. Claire was the anchor in my support network, allowing me to grow through EMDR therapy. Every single session with Claire gave me the confidence to push myself and return to full operational duty and to grow as a person. Claire allowed me to operate in an environment that was safe and comfortable, albeit virtually as a result of Coronavirus COVID-19 and I have truly never felt more valued, respected and listened to. I am lucky enough to deliver mental health training and my journey with Claire has given me so many experiences to share with my learners and I am confident we will work together again in the future. Claire, thank you for everything, I will never forget how our relationship and time together helped me build a bright future.
