I was tempted to write a bad review, but cannot do so because of the amazing service I receive at this branch, on a frequent basis and due to this, I cannot award any less than 5 stars. However, for the love of God, PLEASE can you update your card to reflect your opening times! It is getting kinda annoying that I turn up at the opening time on your card, only to see new opening hours at the door and have to travel back home.

Ford end rd Post Office Depot is the main sorting and post dispatch office for bedford town area a small office at the front of the main site deals with the parcel the postman/woman can not deliver to your door. Also any packet /letter that is underpaid or has duty due can be payed and collected or delivery arranged now with a better carpark and layout then before so you are better able to get in/out of the site.

Recently I'm very disappointed with the service. Last week I was waiting for an percel but all I get a card saying we missed you. I get out and ask post man where is my parcel. He replied its in post office I did not bring it coz you never at home.

Never go when it's busy, raining or cold. The queue can be very long due to the corona virus pandemic protocols and there is no indoor waiting or queueing area.

Have been in to collect parcels a few times. Queues can be quite long if you come at the wrong time (rush hour for example) but I've always found staff polite and helpful. There are only a few customer parking spaces, would be good to have a couple more. Location isn't great but not something they can do much about.

With a large parking space available (even though it says staff only) this gives easy access to the Delivery Office. Staff are always very polite and picking up what you have arrived for is always simple and easy - just off the centre of Bedford Town.

I can’t say I’ve ever had a problem with collecting a parcel from here, the staff are friendly and helpful. Sometimes you just aren’t home so it’s great to have a central location to go and pick up any parcel you missed. Downside is the location is a right pain, getting in is fine but getting out can be tough when there’s lots of traffic. It can get busy but really that’s due to everyone turning up at the same peak times.

Patient when dealing with queries but there's almost always only one person at the desk so queues build up very quickly. This not only frustrates those waiting but when you get to the front of the queue eventually and there is a problem, it leaves the customer with a pretty poor experience overall. An extra member of staff at the desk when queues are out of the door would help massively.

Very croudy. Especially afternoon. Parking is limited and its difficult to find an empty spot. Be careful when you send signed for parcels as they don't scan it in the office. Once my parcel was lost and somebody working there told me it's a lot safer to send all the special delivery parcels from post office rather than from there as they don't scan them. They just stick the label and its only being scanned when delivered, so you can't track your parcel or find it when lost.

Expect a que outside, as its one in one out due to covid restrictions. Apart from waiting, was a pretty easy process to retrieve a parcel.

An absolute nightmare to drive to due to constant traffic, an absolute nightmare to leave via car due to constant traffic, a nigtmare to walk to as it is pretty much a 50/50 chance that cars may or may not stop at the pedestrian crossing (so yes this is also due to traffic). Once you get to the location the staff are always polite and picking up packages is always quick and easy. I do not envy anyone who has to drive in and out of this location as the fault with this location is road based (responsibility of the Bedford council) rather than Royal mail based. I would suggest one roundabout which is traffic light controlled as the traffic at this location is always really bad between 6am - 8pm.

Long opening hours make it easy to get to after work. Large free car park on site. Staff are always very helpful. I can't give more than 3 stars as it's ok. It's hard to get excited about a post office

This is a sorting office where you collect parcels. Sometimes the staff are lovely, sometimes apathetic and sometimes down right grumpy and rude. Luck of the draw. Parking is ok. Getting out of the carpark is often very difficult.
