J. G.Mitsubishi shogun 3.2 did engine faulty fuel pump. I was on verge of scrapping the car when someone recommended Shaun. The price sounded a lot for a car that had done 150k miles. Its our pool car come tow bus.
I bit the bullet and went ahead with pump refurbishment on talking to Shaun who is a very knowledgeable guy.
The work was done by his company and my car is amazing. What a difference.
It never petformed the way it does now, its more economical on diesel and it flies. Better than it ever was new, and it has now done over 200k miles.
Problem was caused by bottle additives used to decarbonise the engine.
The seals in the fuel pump on that model engine dont like chemicals. Its a common fault and has caused lots of these excellent cars to go to the scrapyard.
Thankfully with Shoguns now out of production secondhand prices are rapidly rising.
But in any case the engine in my car is now way better than it ever was when it was new. John Getty, pdsengineering.co.uk
K. G.My vehicle suffered fuel contamination. My local garage could not deal with the issue. I took it to Shaun Arkinstall who took the time to explain the repair could be done on insurance which I hadn't realised. Whilst dealing with that problem they also suggested some further repairs that could be done cheaply as they had already dismantled the engine for the insurance repairs. They are very knowledgeable and completed all the repairs. My 3ltr Ford Ranger truck which was a problem to start and lacked power is now a growling beast again. I have no problem recommending them to you.
