I needed to send a parcel to Wales and one to Sheffield. My usual Transport Agent is in Hospital so I had to find another Carrier, so I tried DPD at Merston in Lifeline Fire Systems old Factory. I did turn up fairly early in the morning before the daily delivery vans had finished loading up--so my fault. I spoke to a lady who was very helpful. She explained that I would have to return home to Niton and book it Online which I duly did. The parcel to Wales went straightforward, but trying to book the parcel - a car bumper that was 130cmsx33x33 cms weighing just SIX KILOS. It wouldn't let me book it onto the system - despite having a facility on the form for longer parcels. I went through the whole process of booking the larger parcel form - only to have it refused at the very end of the whole process. I tried the whole process 4 times - to no AVAIL. I waisted over 2 hours trying to book both parcels. Why do DPD employ monkeys with an IQ of 5 to design these websites. My five years old Grandson would run rings around the idiot that designed this Website. DPD - - - GET YOUR HOUSE IN ORDER. The ONLY reason I will use DPD again is because of Marc the Depot Manager. He was brilliant and saved the day for me. Thank goodness the staff that I know at Merston are great blokes. You are very fortunate to have them DPD - - and GET AN IT COMPANY THAT KNOWS WHAT THE CUSTOMER NEEDS - INSTEAD OF EMPLOYING UNTRAINED CHIMPANZEES ON SKY HIGH WAGES.
