Another Royal mail site in the South East Midlands as a Royal mail driver I feel sorry for the staff here the building is to small and is always busy but somehow the indoor staff cope with it very helpful people

I worked as a royalmail Xmas casual, I have been hairdressing 33 yrs & got made redundant ,so decided to try there & I absolutely loved it,staff from cleaners to Managers couldn't be helpful enough & so polite, its just a shame there's no full-time jobs going as I'd 100% stay there, on our last day Sunil came & thanked us for all our help & he wished us well, the personal touch went down a treat. So if your thinking of doing it even over Xmas for extra money its definitely worth it!!

If your tracking your mail and you see that it ends up here at some point its journey expect it to be there for a while. Mostly big parcels and international ail takes the longest time. Most I’ve had to wait is 8 days before I seen it move to somewhere else. Never had any other problems never any damage or broken or lost parcels. Generally a good service but if you want a faster delivery there are other more expensive options.

Watch out for the rigid hgvs in the area give them a wide birth and drop back they are known for passive aggressive driving don't think they won't hit you they will come close to it not from personal experience just from watching them with the local traffic they will cut up vehicles on merging lanes but won't let a vehicle merge and will stop traffic to prove a point just a word of warning I'm sure they are very capable and just have a terrible temperament

This place really delivers 👍 Although the toilets leave a lot to be desired. The engineering department is second to none in the country. I do not think there is anything they can't fix quickly efficiency and cheaply. They are a fun group of professionals who like nothing better than a challenge.. This is what justifies the 3 stars other than that the place is pretty pants.
