Had to go collect a couple of parcels recently inperson and the chap who helped both times was friendly, helpful and made the collection really easy. Thanks so much! A small depot office, but massively important.

Rushed in 10 minutes before closing, I hadn’t realised that I needed to prepay for postage online, staff member was really helpful making sure it got through in time for the 6pm post. Brilliant service very impressed.

Today the service was very slow. I pressed the buzzer and waited for what felt like 10 minutes while the queue behind me got longer before anyone appeared. On the complete contrast when I went on Sunday the service couldn't have been better. There were 2 competent staff rattling through the queue and the person who served me apologised twice that my parcel was yet to get through the system because of a lack of staff. I didn't mind at all because of the way he handled it.

Better disabled parking layout required. Either make the car park disabled only or move the disabled space, adding a second, closer to the fence. The layout now almost ensures an accident will take place

Customer service is average but good. Parking is poor and during peak times it can be very difficult to get in and out of the car park. The staff often smoke at the back of the building. However, during the morning there is so much cigarette some, you literally have to hold your breath or face choking on it.

Pleasant staff but terribly short on parking with manoeuvring in the parking lot a bit like an advanced control test. Just as an aside but the delivery service and getting in touch by phone is getting shoddy and terribly slow, in that order.

Great polite staff, but not enough of them. Privatisation kicking in? Contradicting but correct information given out in comparison to a Local Post Office Counter. Not enough on-site parking, more space needed as the amount of customers proved!

I've always had fast and efficient service here. The staff have always seemed friendly and that they are working hard. The hours are also extended so you have a better chance to be able to pick up parcels etc. Some parking on site but it can get very crowded at peak times.

The York City Post Office is disabled friendly and there's a numbered queuing system to alleviate the customer wait. The staff are all friendly & helpful. There's even a self-service section too if that's your preference. AE
