You would have to be bananas not to use Robannas ! Very good facilities and friendly helpful staff. Except for the 1 bloke, who looks like he'd rather be somewhere else. Maybe he's on work experience or YTS ? I've got no idea. You can buy tea/ coffee or cold drinks at reasonable prices. A GREAT place to use for rehearsing. ☀️🌻☮️☯️

Really enjoy rehearsals at Robannas. It really makes a difference having a member of staff or two on hand to help with anything. The equipment almost always works and is good quality. I've always been able to get a room, even on short notice. What's more they have a great selection of food and drinks to fuel your rehearsal. Some of the decor and furnishings are a bit dated and some of the cheap ceilings are starting to cave in a bit. A few rooms could do with renovation but most of them are in good working order.

Practiced here many times and it's such a great place. Friendly knowledgeable staff that have been in the business for a long time. Range of great snares and bass pedals is a great treat for drummers. Equipment is a little varied as your probably used to with practice rooms and sound proofing isn't great but certainly not a bad standard. Consider them as midlands standard for which all other practice rooms should aspire to.

Absolutely love this Rehearsal Studio, I've been using it exclusively since the start of my musical career. The owner Rob is always helpful and cheerful on our arrival and this gives a really friendly atmosphere. We have never had any problems at all. The rooms are always in good condition and with good equipment. I've recommenced Robannas to all of my gigging friends and most of them have now changed to Robannas to rehearse! It's the best price around and it really can't be beaten. The workers even stop to have a chat with us and our manager, which is always pleasant! 10/10.

Good rehearsal rooms. Well soundproofed and kitted out. Good neutral acoustics. Flight of stairs to access. Snacks and drinks available in reception. While they can supply, it's worth bringing your own peripherals (drum pedals, speaker cables etc)

Robannas Studios is an excellent place for musical groups of all calibers to rehearse. Our band (Resolute) has been going there for a fair few weeks now and have not been disappointed. The equipment is well maintained and the practice rooms are roomy enough to get your band in without problems. The staff are friendly and always helpful. Every time I walk into Robannas I am given warm greetings from all of the staff, everyone is so friendly, cheerful and the banter is high quality. The tea making skills make it feel like home and I love the atmosphere. It was fun one my first few trips being shown around, it still amazes me at how much space there is, it caters for everyone, not just those who are musical and its a brilliant location

Fantastic practice studios run by the the legend himself. The place is steeped in music history and you can see that it's been added to over the years and grown organically which only adds to the experience. We have a lockup there and have always received excellent service from Rob and the team and feel like valued customers, we've been going there for 20 years and have tried other studios but always return to Robannas which as a band feels like our spiritual home, and we've grown up there since doing our first rehearsal as pimpled teens that new nothing about music but just wanted to make noise. Some would argue that nothings really changed. The hourly rooms are reasonably priced well maintained and clean, if something doesn't work then the team are on hand at the desk and quickly sort replacement amps or find you another room. Congratulations has to go to Rob for continuing to be at the heart of the Birmingham music scene and for creating a little piece of music history that will always have a place in the bands that rehearse there's hearts.

I used Robannas Studios recently to record my band. The service I received was by far and away better than anything I could have hoped for - the engineer was very professional and made us sound fantastic. The facilities were more than capable for catering to our needs and the equipment used was all top of the range. We now have a really professional sounding track that we can show off and be proud of.

I've been using Robannas at least once a week for years now, I've been to a lot of other rehearsal rooms too but none compare to Robannas, as a drummer the standard of the gear is consistently excellent and the range of snares is second to none. I don't think I've been to another rehearsal room where I've even been given a choice of snare let alone one where I can pick from 20+ including some very expensive signature snares. Great place to practice and it's well priced at £10 an hour and 4 hours for the price of 3. Never seen anywhere else that compares.

A well-established studio in the centre of Birmingham, Robannas has just about everything. Their fully-equipped rehearsal rooms have a range of professional amplifiers and mixers available, allowing any practising band to get their best sound on any given night. Even food and drink are available in reception, helping make long sessions more comfortable. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and Rob himself gives a lot of support and encouragement to the bands who use his services. The recording studios are a full, professional set-up, and Robannas employs expert engineers that will get the best possible sound from your work. Our band have been regular customers for nearly two years (and some of our members have been using Robannas for much longer) and we can't think of any reason we'd want to go anywhere else. Robanna's is simply the best rehearsal studios available in Birmingham, and in my time I've tried them all! Not only are Rob and his staff extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating but the range of rooms available is superior to any I've come across. They are extremely well equipped with everything a band needs, and if you want something extra, Rob will go out of his way to provide it if he can. If you have a favourite room, he'll also do his best to make it available. I would say it is the studio with the personal touch. Whether you're just starting out or a big name, you're sure of a welcome at Robanna's!

I found Robannas Studio online as I needed to rent DJ equipment for a celebration at a large country manor near Kidderminster. I chose them because they had great reviews and they also had turntables to spin vinyl. Right from the beginning it was a really easy working with Rob. He was very helpful, very knowledgeable, always had a timely response to my questions and his DJ equipment rental package was reasonably priced. They provided a rental service which included setup and then disassembly and packing the next day. What was memorable for me about the experience with Robannas was the following. First they were on time for setup traveling the 45 min or so journey from Birmingham. The equipment wasn't the usual cheaply portable DJ equipment - it was solid state stuff that required a significant assembly and it included two of the world famous Technics SL1200 turntables - the Rolls Royce of DJ turntables which are obselete now and difficult to find. Second, the 2 guys, John and Kevin, that came to set up were top, top guys. They were engaging, professional and proficient. They even went back and brought back parts we needed and additional lighting without fuss. Third, Rob, the owner himself came out to disassemble the equipment the next day - that's real dedication to the business and I'm sure he is really busy with all the other aspects of his business. It made me as a client feel special, even though this wasn't probably a big earner for him. He's a top guy too, really down to earth and personable. I wholeheartedly recommend Robannas Studios for DJ equipment rental and I would use them again without hesitation.

I started coming to robannas with my previous band Static Revolution in february 2013. I still come here now with my current band Bitter Alliance and ever since I have been coming here there is not one bad comment about the place, staff, facilities or equipment. I have to say out of the other studios I have been to Robannas is the best by none, Good value for money £30 for 4 hours or £60 for a whole day which is 12 hours, you can't argue with that. All of the rest of Bitter Alliance love the place, we wouldn't go anywhere else and we would defiantly recommend bands who are starting up to come to robannas because they will never get turned down at any week due to the place being fully booked as Robannas have over 50 practice rooms which is fantastic, in my past I have called the previous studio I used to visit with my first band, which only had 3 practice rooms and sometimes we couldn't get booked in due to the place being fully booked with other bands, but at robannas that will never happen. I enclose this by saying again Robannas is by far the best practice studio I have been to, I don't think I could go anywhere else, good value for money, equipment is brilliant, I'd like to thank all the staff for being so friendly and supportive while Bitter Alliance has been there. First class customer service at Robannas, it's a great place to practice. The staff are so on the ball and very efficient, it makes a band practice easy so we can get on with making music

We travel an hour from Worcester to get to Robannas its totally worth it - the rooms sound great, loud amps the drums are pre tuned ( never had that at a studio before ) the owner is always welcoming its got a great atmosphere. We make a day of it and do the all day discount deal.
