S. R.My daughter has been at TDC for a little over a year now and she loves going! The teachers are amazingly friendly and very good at delivering the syllabus at a level the children will understand!
The extra workshops that they offer during the holidays, always go down a storm and my daughter is very upset if I don't manage to get her booked in!
Best dance company we have been too!
F. M.My daughter attends acrobatic dance and ballet. Her confidence and skills in both dance classes have really grown since starting at Thorrington Dance Academy. There is a really lovely, friendly atmosphere with a real focus on friendship and kindness alongside the dancing skills.
N. M.My LO has been a member of TDA for the past year and at the end of each lesson she is always beaming from ear to ear! I get a lesson on what she’s been learning that day and practising the techniques. My daughter has grown in confidence and loves her teachers, San and Shannon.
I love that there is now a class local to me in Brightlingsea too and looking forward to the new school year and another exceptional showcase.
S.Amazing dance school my son was made to feel very welcome and really enjoys going he always comes out happy and wanting to talk about what he has learnt. He goes to the acro class and from his first lesson had learnt to do a cartwheel which built his confidence straight away. He looks forward to every class and is upset if we do have to miss one for any reason. The teacher is fantastic extremely helpful and enthusiastic with the children. I couldn’t recommend this dance school enough!
W. G.Sam runs an excellent dance based fitness class called Funky Fit on Monday evenings. It's a brilliant class where you have fun dancing to some new and old songs whilst keeping fit.
Sam is a really friendly, welcoming instructor who regularly introduces new songs and routines to keep the class varied and she welcomes our suggestions for songs. You shouldn't worry about coming to this class if you think you can't dance. Sam's routines are easy enough to follow and no-one minds if we go wrong, it's all part of the fun!
K. M.Cannot recommend Thorrington Dance Academy enough, my daughter has grown in confidence since starting and made some lovely friends. Teacher Sam and Miss Lizzy are worth their weight in gold!!!
L. T.Funky Fit is my absolute favourite. Have been to various exercise dance classes and always drop them after a few months because I got bored. Sam rotates the routines so there’s always something new, and really pays attention to which tracks we particularly like as a group to keep longer. Been going for years and don’t intend to stop any time soon.
