I have absolutely loved going to Academia de Salsa over the last few months. I've made lots of dancing friends. Shannon's teaching methods make learning Salsa a lot of fun. Even though I attend by myself I have always had wonderful people who have been a joy to dance with. At the class I have now progressed from beginner to passable dancer. i can't wait to learn more. I now have the confidence to attend socials and recently went to the annual vintage ball which was spectacular.

I talked my boyfriend into coming with me to learn Salsa and we both love it! It's the highlight of our week. We're both beginners and the teachers are fantastic at breaking down the steps and making it a really enjoyable evening. We recently went on holiday and were even able to burst a few salsa moves on the dance floor. We both can't wait to get back after Xmas and will be signing up for the improvers course. Excellent value for money and a great night out!

I have attended salsa classes on and off for 6 years returning to my first dance school.. academia de salsa after lockdown. It is the best in teaching but also in commitment. Classes are not cancelled and you are guaranteed a worthwhile lesson. It is well organised, enjoyable and welcoming. Definitely the best dancer school !!

I joined beginners group 6 weeks ago and it is absolutely fantastic. People of all ages and backgrounds come along, meet new friends, fun way to exercise and learn something new. Shannon makes sure everyone is included and happiness is guaranteed. I wish I joined earlier but definitely moving to the next level now.

I started classes here after lockdown in September . I was a bit nervous as this was my first event in public but the safety measures put in place made me feel at ease . The classes are brilliant too! Shannon takes my class and is enthusiastic and gets you dancing straight away on the first class . Academia De Salsa is the best salsa school in Glasgow. Six years ago I started going to them to learn salsa. All teachers are very friendly and know how to teach. The owner is very lovely, amazing lady. Shannon knows how to organize big balls on various topics, during the week there are several salsa nights where you can meet new friends and have more dance practice salsa. I have been going to salsa classes for years. The teacher are brilliant, fun and most of all always helpful in teacher. They always make the environment fun and joyful especially around festive periods. Also I have met so many great people, made life long friend's and emjoued and danced at many social events! I joined in April 2018. My New Years resolution was to take something up not to give something up. 10 months later I cannot live without Salsa and Bachata (which is another beautiful Latin American Dance). Love my classes and the mix of people that attend them. If you want to learn to dance and meet people of the same ilk then Acemedia d Salsa is recommended by a person who came in with an open mind. Do not think I can't do it till you try. Great teachers that explain and enthuse the Latin American rhythm. Glasgow is alive with the Latin American Beat. Join in you won't be disappointed.
