As one watches gypsy dance, the first thing that comes to mind is freedom and passion. Its a beautiful dance with colourful skirts and swift moves but be sure it’s also a fair amount of hard work behind it. The environment is both professional and supportive, more like a dancing family. Saeeda (the dance teacher and our muse) is a professionally trained ethical dancer and often stays after the class to help anyone who is keen to learn. And the best bit is that there is an opportunity to perform on a stage! And many students do as soon as after a year of training. Having tried quite a few dance studios in London over the last 10 years I can tell that nothing quite comes close.

I have started Gypsy dancing last September and i love it. Such a beautiful, colourful and joyful dance that gives the opportunity to truly express oneself. Saeeda provides great classes and teaching, and is always happy to share her knowldege, and to help her students to improve their technique and expression. The classes are very welcoming, with great atmosphere between students. The levels are mixed, that is great to review basics as well as progress quickly. Highly recommended to any student (M/F) new to dancing or trained dancer who wants to learn a new style and challenge him/herself, and above all share the joy of dancing :)

Saeeda is a professional and versatile belly dance and Romany dance teacher. Having a professional dance background growing up, Saeeda is a versatile dancer and teacher, who can teach not only the dance itself, but important performance skills as well. Saeeda studies the history and origins of dance deeply to deliver appropriate nuances of multiple different types of bellydance such as those from Egypt and Turkey, and, in addition Romany dances from Romania, Kalbelia from India and the unique Gypsy dance from Russia! I was fortunate to learn Russian Gypsy dance from Saeeda and enjoyed the chance to perform on stage - the opportunity Saeeda provides for students of any level!

I tried Gypsy dance classes last year, but before I was learning bellydancing with Saeeda. I love the energy and movements of this style. It is different from bellydancing but very good exercise and fun classes. Unfortunately, moved out of London last year but will definitely be coming to her workshops and shows:)))

I am very greatful for the chance that i joined Saeeda's classes few years ago, otherwise I would miss the chance to enjoy dancing in my life, dancing a real complicated dance style (not a dance in the club))). Saeeda’s classes have changed my life. They helped to develop my artistic side and physical fitness. They are great for flexibility and they provide excellent cardio training!
