Attended Bruno's NYE Milonga and had such an amazing time. I found it to be very inclusive and there were lots of laughs. Really lovely atmosphere. The class he taught beforehand was also amazing with lots of attention to detail. One thing that stood out to me was (due to the ratio of leaders to followers not being completely even) how Bruno was careful to ensure every follower had enough leader time. A great teacher all round!

One of the best things about learning Tango with Bruno is the way he welcomes you into his dance community. I am a beginner and it can be quite daunting to brave your first milonga alone, but Bruno introduced me to people and put me at ease. I should add that in his private classes Bruno is a great teacher. An excellent communicator, he shows you exactly what to modify so that you improve immediately. In addition, the classes are fun and you feel like you are getting a very rounded education in, not only the dance, but in the music and feeling of tango. I came across Bruno and Paula’s instructional videos online this past pandemic year going on 4 years of studying Argentine Tango. As a passionately growing leader I recognize and appreciate Bruno’s style of dance, leading with sensitivity of where the follower is at all times, making impromptu moves that flow seamlessly together: a true gentleman’s lead. Only now I realize how much lower body leg and core strength it takes to dance this way, not something I can easily physically replicate even if I understood all the steps. However, Bruno explains his techniques clearly and eloquently in English for the serious leader to practice and grow into over time. Equally clear and proficient in English is Paula’s instruction for followers. From the outsider point of view I can only appreciate the sensitivity and attention Paula puts into communicating with her partner through her dance. Again, few individuals possess the strength and poise that such professional dancers have achieved over decades of practice yet Paula explains the details which can make the follower’s dance both clean and beautiful. But more importantly, she reveals the conscious, hidden movements of her body which is meant to communicate clearly to the leader where she stands and on which foot upon arriving. Few teachers teach to that level of attention: for improving the back and forth communication between partners in Tango (which is ultimately the very reason why we dance!). While online lessons cannot replace in-person instruction for Tango, for those already with some experience and understanding of the fundamentals, Tanguito lessons are clearly explained, very well organized, and rich with recorded information to review again and again. They are an excellent resource for improving your dance and leader/follower skills if you repeatedly practice the techniques to work into your Tango over time. Saludos desde Los Angeles!

My husband and I started learning tango with Bruno 5 months ago having no prior experience. We always wanted to learn and our (at the time) approaching wedding motivated us to commit. We found his teaching method very suitable for our needs: very clear, organized and structured, he gave us some solid basis to get started. Really enjoyed our first month of tango lessons. The classes are well structured with an intro to basic steps every week then a focus on one particular technique at each lesson. The technique is clearly explained and you have plenty of time to practice and perfect, as the teachers circulate and give advice and guidance. I have loved loved Tanguito. We booked 7-8 private lessons in order to prepare for our wedding first dance (because we wanted something different). Me and my partner had no dance experience at all but yet wanted something that would be elegant and creative. I was very bad at remembering sequences. Bruno was very patient and a perfectionist. He created a choreography that was beautiful and bespoke to our style. He then trained us very diligently focusing on every detail. On our wedding day : all our guests LOVED our first dance. People were so excited and cheerful. Almost everyone took it on video and no one would believe we achieved it in 7-8 lessons only. This is a really good Tango class. I have been to a few and this is the best. Why do I say this? Bruno teaches with two excellent female partners, Beth on Wednesdays and Paula on Sunday. They both give great instruction and so does Bruno. Other teachers may be good dancers but many are poor teachers because they just demonstrate but don’t teach. Show off, but don’t help their students advance. Bruno teaches in a way that breaks things down and brings his students along throughout the lessons. Some other teachers show contempt to their students - Bruno never does. Plus, he is modest and self effacing. However, make no mistake, he is a fine dancer. Finally, he creates an atmosphere that is welcoming. This is unusual for Tango classes and some Milongas (social dances) are awfully snooty - again, his Milonga never is. He sets the right tone for his classes ( Wednesdays and Sundays) and Milongas, which are held every Sunday.

I went to Buenos Aires last August with the Annual Tango Holiday organised by Bruno. I didn’t know either the organiser or any of the participants, and I was a bit apprehensive. Well, it turned out to be a fantastic experience! Bruno is well organised and replied to all my queries promptly and politely. We had excellent tango workshops organised for us every day and we also attended fantastic Milonga at night. This annual trip usually happens during the World Tango Festival and Championship which gives the opportunity to enjoy a few free tango events such as concerts, shows and competitions. Great experience! Now, I attend Bruno’s classes regularly. He is a very patience and knowledgeable teacher. The way he teaches is very clear and engaging which makes my learning process very enjoyable. I started Tango with some dance experience in Kizomba, another very passionate dance. The most striking thing at first was the strong emphasis on technique which is what I was looking for. Bruno is very good at breaking down the essential elements of the lead that is so important for a man to become a good tango dancer. I feel like I've known Natalie and Bruno forever, despite it only being just over a year of starting at their classes. They have a friendliness you just don't get from other teachers, but with an honesty in their feedback that really makes you work at the techniques and style they are teaching. I love the classes. After joining their classes from some more bar based crowded scenes, I finally felt like I was actually learning to dance. Bruno is fun, friendly and witty as well as being incredibly kind and patient. His classes provide masses of detailed expert guidance on technique as well as flair. Sunday afternoon sessions at Tanguito provide a detailed 90m minute class for intermediate and advanced Tangueros, followed by several hours of Milonga - allowing you to catch up with Tango friends on and around the floor.

We approached Bruno and Nathalie in December and bought several individual lessons as well as group lessons. At the time, we had no knowledge of Tango whatsoever, but we had planned to do a tango for our wedding dance, in August. We started with an individual lesson to get the basics, and then went to several group classes. Worth noting that we also went to a regular Milonga on Sundays in Clapham Junction to get more practice in - that is fairly crucial as you need to practice what you learn in the group lessons. Bruno and Nathalie are great teachers, and their classes, both individual and group, are excellent and were crucial to getting us to the point where we can, in fact, have a decent Tango wedding dance! Thank you Bruno and Nathalie. We'd heartily recommend them to anyone who wants to learn to dance Tango, but be sure to both 1) get individual classes as well as group classes and 2) practice in Milongas every week!

I started my tango quest by having some private lessons with Bruno at Tanguito, as I didn’t feel confident enough to attend group classes to begin with. I am pretty impressed by how much progress I’ve made in just a few weeks, but I have a sneaky suspicion it’s all down to Bruno and Nathalie’s teaching philosophy, which is based on making sure that students have a solid grasp of the basic techniques of Tango, allowing for steady improvement as each student’s experience grows. I soon felt confident enough to attend group classes, which I have found easy to follow, as great care is taken to deconstruct each step into easily manageable sequences. The classes are clearly well thought-out, with a few techniques explained and practiced each session, and recaps at the end, finally leading to an opportunity to practice the steps learnt. The fact that the classes are taught by both Nathalie and Bruno allows leaders and followers to both learn their own steps, but also to have a better grasp of the movement and effect desired for each sequence. All this takes place in classes that are as exact in methodology as they are relaxed and friendly in atmosphere, so I feel very lucky I discovered Tanguito, and would recommend it to anyone looking to start their own Tango adventure!

While I lived in London, I spent 2 years learning and dancing tango with Bruno & Nathalie. I really enjoyed their friendly and professional way of teaching (I had never dancedTango before) and the many opportunities they offer to just practice and meet new people (like sunday afternoons). The classes are good value for money and flexible - you can pay 1 class at a time or go for a package if you come more frequently. Also I loved the clothing range: I bought myself a So Chic skirt, fits perfectly as it is tailor-made, and has a unique and customized color combination - such a pleasure to dance with ! So my simple advice is: if you're tempted by Tango, just try Tanguito !!

Having danced tango over the last three years in several places in London, I recently discovered Nathalie and Bruno's tanguito, and I have to say that I was impressed. Their improver courses are well structured, the ambiance is cool, and both provide a very good feedback on the many details one has to work on to improve style and confidence. Their method, which always combines technique, moves, but also music and musicality, is really original and something I wish I had earlier, as music and musicality are often left out in most places.
