Danced privately with my partner and Vera The Diva over the course of 6 months. We were training for our wedding first dance. Edurne was fantastic, she listened to our brief about what we imagined and created something above expectations. Both of us were total dancing beginners and Edurne managed to teach us a wonderful routine in several dance styles. She made dancing really fun and was always very patient for when we couldn’t remember or kept getting it wrong. I would never recommend anyone else to dance with. We loved dancing with her so much that we plan to continue training via her workshop sessions. Thanks Edurne for everything!

Vera was an absolute delight to work with. She was so patient working with me and my fiance as we developed some choreography for our wedding "first dance". For our wedding dance we tried around 5 different intro dance lessons but were immediately won over by Edurne at Vera the Diva and booked 10 lessons, at their Covent Garden and Clapham venues, both of which were great. Edurne was a delight to work with. She is incredibly professional and worked very hard with us each session to make sure we would be ready for our wedding dance. She is an incredibly skilled dancer, and could always identify areas for improvement in our dance routine, and so was able to create our dance in real time, based on our skill level. She is an expert teacher, and I thought it was great how she would correct one thing at a time. She was endlessly patient, with me in particular (I have no dance game, whereas I think my wife is excellent!), so I was set at ease and not stressed by my lack of skills and constant mistakes! Edurne is also extremely charming to work with, and made our lessons fun, and so we looked forward to them. (Her colleague David was also great to deal with). We literally cannot imagine a better dance teacher and thoroughly recommend Edurne and Vera the Diva!!

Fantastic classes covering the whole range of ballroom and latin dances. The teachers are wonderful - inclusive, encouraging and fun. I've met some great people in different classes, and always enjoy my time there. If you only want to dance with one partner thats fine, otherwise you get to regularly swap partners throughout the class which is much better than a lot of other dance schools - you learn much more quickly and its great if you're coming on your own. Highly recommended!

I got the Strictly Come Dancing bug a few years back and gave Vera the Diva dance school a try and haven’t looked back. The atmosphere is great, everyone is really friendly and the teacher is awesome, she makes learning fun as well as teaching us techniques of all different dance style. I was once shy to dance and now can tango, cha cha, waltz, rumba and have even danced at the Royal Opera House tea dance thanks to Vera the Diva dance school. I would defiantly recommend joining, I’ve made some great friends, keeps me fit and I now love dancing.

One of the highlights of my week! A warm, friendly, community-feel school with classes in Central London and Clapham, where we dance the evening away! Edurne (our lovely teacher) keeps things interesting with at least two different types of dance in each session and is coming up with new routines all of the time. We have frequent dance socials organised by the school and have also been to some lovely tea-dances too. Classes are well organised, well-matched between men and women and reasonably priced. Highly recommended as a source of happy-feet happiness, a place to meet nice people and learn to discover those twinkle toes that we all have!
