Everyone is lovely and it's such a supportive environment whether you are a beginner or pro! a Lauren is an excellent teacher, she makes sure to go at your pace whilst slowly pushing to help to achieve goals and master moves. Personally I find that gyms can be quite intimidating but I've never felt anything other than comfortable at LaKiTa (except when I'm trying to touch my toes to my head!) if you are thinking about giving it a go, I definitely would, you won't regret it!

I started at LaKiTa Dance very unfit and wanting an alternative to gym routines! I got so much more than I bargained for. Lauren is very knowledgeable and professional. Her love for dance is so obvious and she is meticulous with safety. She has built such a valuable community with the girls that attend the studio and I could never have imagined just how supportive they would all be. I would recommend not only pole and aerial fitness, but particularly this studio to anybody who asked!

Joining LaKiTa is the best thing that I have ever done💖. It is the highlight of my week, every week. The amount of support you receive from Lauren and all of the amazing girls from Day 1 is heart-warming. From someone with anxiety, I have never felt more at home and relaxed than at the studio. Everyone is happy to see you as soon as you walk through the door. Everyone is at different stages in their pole journey and it is by no means intimidating, it’s inspiring. Anyone that is considering joining - 100% give it a try, you’ll fall in love with it. Also - I can confirm you do not need to be strong to start pole dancing 😊.

I strongly recommend LaKiTa because it's an amazing place to be. All girls are so friendly and I felt welcome for the beginning. Lauren is more that a good trainer. She is absolutely fabulous and I think she is born to teach. She is also so supportive and has a big hug for all of her students. The only thing I regret is that I didn't find it earlier.

I have been attending classes at Lakita for about 3 years. I absolutely love the studio, the teachers and the people who go there. The classes are always fun and varied, with experienced and amazing instructors to guide and support you. Lauren, the owner and principle instructor of lakita, takes everyone who walks through the door under her wing and you can tell she really cares about everyone that comes into the studio. She invests her time not only in your physical wellness and improvement, but she's also very caring and considerate about your mental health as well - making time for one off sessions about mental wellbeing and fitting in meditation time in some classes. Lakita is a close a welcoming family. Joining would be one of the best choices you make and we'd be lucky to have you 🌟

I cannot recommend this place enough. From pole fitness, aerial hoop, flexibility and exotic, all the classes are amazing. Lauren and the other instructors are great and motivate us everyday. Everyone is made to feel welcome and comfortable. I have gained so much self confidence by going to Lakita. I now plan my week around Lakita classes, and I cannot imagine my life without it. :) Anyone who wants to get stronger - physically and emotionally should join!

There is no other place like Lakita ♥️ my second home and second family - a safe place for all. Somewhere you can be genuine and where you're appreciated for who you are! Pole is so beneficial for physical and mental health and there is nowhere else I would rather spend my time - coming here really did change my life in so many ways! We don't care if you have stretch marks or if you are carrying a little extra weight. We are here to help you achieve incredible things you never thought possible! You don't need to lose weight or go to the gym to build up strength before you come. That's what we are here for! Age is just a number too so you can't use that excuse either. My 50 year olds put the young'uns to shame! LaKiTa has been my baby for 8 years. I seen lots of women walk through our doors. Lakita dance is a welcoming studio that caters to all abilities. Lauren and the other instructors are fantastic and make you feel at home from the moment you step in. I have attended four pole studios across the north west and Lakita Dance is one of a kind!

By far the best thing I have done in a very very long time. My health has seen a significant improvements over the last 3 years, as well as my confidence and my general outlook on life. If I have a bad day it's okay because I can work through it at pole. Exercise is no longer a chore because I love going to both see the friends I've made, and the challenges I'm set every week. This studio is my home away from home and I have gained the BEST Second family a girl could ask for!!! If you're nervous about coming because you think "I have no upper body strength, it'll be so embarrassing" - which crossed my mind when I joined 1) We have all been at that starting line - whether it's your first climb/spin/invert it's celebrated 2) There are some beginner only classes which I joined at first Also if you feel self conscious because you have jiggly bits, there is absolutely no need - Pole is something that people of all shapes and sizes can do, I frequently joke that the jiggle on my thighs is the only reason I stick to the pole so well :P I've found that Lakita Pole has a strong focus on body positivity and as a knock on effect has increased my self confidence massively - I wore a bikini on the family holiday for the first time ever this year!!!!! Lakita pole is my 3rd pole school and my last - the instructor's here never give you something you can't handle, they will help you if you are struggling, and will catch you if you fall - even if it means they get kicked in the face - which I've seen happen more than once and is usually followed by a chorus of giggling. Everyone at this school will cheer and clap when you get that move that's been annoying you for so long, they'll offer advice on things they've found useful and when you join you're be welcomed into the best dance family that I have ever been apart of. I can not commend or recommend Lakita Pole more if I tried. The instructors are top class, the girls are amazing and the poles are so much fun to play on!!! I just wish there was an option of giving more stars !!!!!!!!

Really well structured classes that are tailored to each individuals level and capabilities, motivating and inspirational teachers that bring out the best in everyone. Fab studio full of supportive and welcoming people attending class and inspiring teachers, highly trained and super supportive. We train our bodies well with proper warm ups to increase fitness, and instructors have lesson plans that differentiate to give everyone a chance to succeed at whatever level they are at and stretch people that have more experience to progress even further.

Cannot recommend this place enough. It took me nearly 3 months to build up the courage to actually walk through the door . But soo glad I did. Lauren and the other instructors are great . I attend every week on my own, at first I was scared and felt like I wouldn’t be good enough but week after week Lauren and the girls are all so welcoming and I feel so proud of myself after every session.
