Always nervous of dentists however Alex and his team made me feel so relaxed. Initial consultation was an excellent process. Thorough and it was explained to me well. I am going back next week for a polish and I am not nervous at all!!! He has great staff and a beautiful relaxed setting. A massive positive point is that you don't have to wait long for an appointment as he has I believe three hygienist....a first for me. Repatriating back to UK I was expecting the prices to be high but they are not. Well done to Alex and his team

We had to move to a new dentist and chose Teckkam as it's more local for us. From the beginning of each of our first visits, we felt welcomed and comfortable and in safe hands. Kim on Reception was easy to talk to, as I had lots of questions, and dentist Alex's assistant, Eve, was really lovely, warm and friendly too. The waiting room area is lovely, quiet and a calm place to sit pre-appointment. We were both impressed by Alex's calm but confident professional manner, very easy to talk to, asked good questions and explained in advance what he was going to do. I feel we have made a very good move to Teckkam Dental Care.

I struggled to find a dentist for a number of years after relocating to Cumbria, which covid made even harder. Teckkam was the only dental practice accepting new patients throughout barrow, ulverston and the surrounding areas. After a horrific emergency dental experience during covid I developed a real fear of dentists so was really worried I'd go through a similar experience. I hesitantly booked the first appointment as I had no other choice and only read the reviews afterwards. They were all so reassuring and eased the fears I had. I told my dentist Alex about my fears and pains and he was absolutely amazing! He talked me through it every step of the way, was so gentle and for the first time I genuinely felt listened to. Everyone was so lovely and I couldn't be happier that I was able to get in with Teckkam as finding an amazing dentistry team like this is rare to find!

I am a lady who has been petrified of the dentist for many years. Even the thought of booking an appointment would make me feel sick. Up until recently I had not visited the dentist for over 30 years. I needed to have some dental treatment & both a friend & a relative recommended this practice. I cannot recommend them highly enough the nurses & receptionists were so caring & helpful & Alex the dentist was brilliant, he totally empathised with my fear & was so considerate when filling four of my teeth. He did an amazing job & you cannot see they have been filled. He gave me lots of good advice for taking care of my teeth & made me feel so confident to be in his care. Unfortunately after the first examination they had no appiontment to carry out the treatment for 6 weeks. The practice then had a cancellation the next day & they contacted me straight away so I could get the treatment I needed. Such outstanding service from the whole practice.

I was very impressed with my first experience at Teckkham Dental. I had a teeth cleaning session (with Angela and Diane) and consultation in Sept 2017. I found the team to be very friendly, welcoming and the service provided was professional and meticulous. I felt I was in good hands throughout the session, I wasn't rushed and I honestly cant fault them. Well done to the management team for setting a high bar in terms of customer care.

Now just awaiting my plan but feeling happy that I've chosen a great dentist. The manager was also very helpful in setting up a the Denplan package.

I have always been nervous visiting the Dentist, but all the team at Teckkam Dentist really make it as relaxing as possible. Both Dentists Alex and Jasmine are very kind, caring and gentle, as well as, professional and great at their jobs. Our family all feel really happy at Teckkam Dentist with both the way we are treated and with any dental work we have had done. The Dental hygienist Angela and all the staff are also very professional and really nice too. It's a homely place and they always have a nice chat to my Son to take his mind off things - although he does better than Me! Emma the dental nurse is a reaĺ gem with her friendly kind manner. It is a nice relaxing setting and runs like clockwork. No crowded stressful waiting area. It is also super clean. If you are nervous and want a Dentist that is gentle and good at their job - this is the place for you! Hope this helps !

I had my first treatment appointment (2 large fillings) with Alex yesterday evening and I don't think I've ever felt more relaxed. I was sure I would be sore today but not even a twinge! He even shaped and polished the fillings so they feel like my real tooth. Fabulous!!

My experience with Teckkam Dental Care has been absolutely outstanding, I have had quite a lot of treatment by Alex and his dental nurses and on each appointment, I have had been made to feel very welcome and relaxed. In past years I have been to various dentists in Barrow-In-Furness and I have had some bad experiences but now in my time of life I have been made to feel that I no longer have any fear in going to the dentist. Fantastic service from the minute you walk in to Techkam dental. Very friendly which helps you to stay at ease as for some people visiting the dentist can be nerve wracking. My self and my young daughter go here and we wouldn't go anywhere else. 100% recommend to friends and family
