I went to Braden dental care to ascertain the best way forward to straighten my teeth. Jim was extremely helpful in which way was best to do this, and was able to tell me the plan going forward at every appointment, with any queries answered in a timely manner. I had the braces on for 1 year and the huge difference in my teeth is impressive. When I look back at previous photos I cannot believe how my teeth used to look. Would highly recommend. Jennifer

After having a couple of consultations for adult braces I decided to go with Jim at Braden Dental Care. I had been unhappy with my teeth for years, but was really afraid of visiting the dentist. From the initial consultation Jim put my mind at ease and insured me this would be a straight forward, painless process. At the beginning of each appointment Jim discussed exactly what he would be doing and I always left wondering what I was so afraid of. We decided to go with the clear ceramic brace to straighten my teeth followed by whitening and bonding the front 4 teeth. I am so pleased with how my new smile has turned out!!! Jim got back to my initial query very quickly and arranged a free consultation the same week. I have just finished my treatment and am delighted with the results. Jim was very transparent about the fees upfront and there were no hidden costs. The practice itself is lovely and modern and I really appreciated some of the approaches taken such as the 3D scanner to measure your teeth for your aligners (rather than the old uncomfortable putty impressions I remembered from my braces the first time round). Really glad I went with Braden Dental for this treatment - would recommend to anyone.

I recently bought a Somnowell Chrome Mandibular Advancement Device from Peter as a last resort to help with Sleep Apnoea. It has honestly changed my life. Whilst they may seem expensive, it is worth every penny and the vast majority of the cost goes to the manufacturer. A first class product and first class service.

I have obstructive sleep apnoea and the mandibular advance device i had been using for years was done and was beginning to damage my gums. After some googling for good alternatives the brand Somnowell came up with excellent reviews. Braden Dental is the only registered licensed practice of this brand in Belfast. I made and appointment with Braden Dental and they were very good; professional, knowledgeable, transparent and honest. Somnowell anti snoring device is not the cheapest but personally I have found that it works better than any other device i have tried, it will last much longer, its easier to clean and after the initial breaking in period, its much more comfortable. I would definitely recommend Braden Dental.

For most of my life I had been conscious of my crooked teeth and over-crowding. I found myself avoiding showing my teeth when smiling and it affected my confidence enormously. I contacted Braden and they were fantastic from start to finish. Jim and the team were professional and made me feel at ease by explaining the whole process each time I visited. A practice you can have trust and assurance in to receive excellent care! I have been attending Braden Dental for a number of months for cosmetic dentistry. After having reviewed many dentists across Belfast I was relieved after my consultation that I found the practice I have been searching for. After having adult braces for two and half years I was seeking to have composite bonding to finish off my smile after the alignment of my teeth left a few uneven at the bottom. Jim and I were on the same page from the get-go. We discussed options, my treatment plan and prices. Jim has always been upfront and very helpful in assisting me achieve my desired smile. He is such a trustworthy practitioner and I cannot thank him enough. I am someone who is so fussy and particular with what I want and I am sure I have tried his patience at a point or two lol but he has always been so patient and went beyond to help me. I would highly recommend Jim and the staff at Braden Dental. I’ve been meaning to write this for sometime as I got my braces off in 2019 and my teeth are still as good as they were when my braces came off. On my initial consultation with Jim he gave me a detailed and realistic plan of my braces journey and toward the end he introduced invisalign treatment so my teeth would be perfect. The team were always very helpful with appointments or if a bracket came off (because I ate something I shouldn’t have) then they would make sure I was seen as soon as they could to rectify it. Highly recommend Jim. VERY happy with my treatment. I had some movement of my teeth on both top and bottom. Jim came up with a plan and we used the Invisalign clear aligners. Amazing practice with outstanding staff and treatments! I had a couple of cosmetic concerns in regards to my teeth and was looking for a practice that could help me sort out my smile. Jim was the first one in Belfast to get back to me so I went with him, and I'm so glad I did! From the first consultation on Jim listened to what was bothering me about my teeth and talked me through the best treatment plan to address my concerns. We started off with an invisalign treatment, through which Jim kept me up to date with my progress (before/ progress to date scans) and advice, he even sent a clincheck back to get another attachment for me just to tweak one tooth that little bit more - that's something I really appreciated as he takes the outcome of the treatment just as seriously as you do and makes sure you get the best possible result. After finishing my invisalign treatment, Jim sorted out a front tooth for me that I broke as a child and had repaired years ago by a different dentist. The compound that was used years ago was discoloured and an odd shape - Jim re-did the whole tooth and it now matches my other teeth perfectly. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of my treatments and I also couldn't recommend Jim and his team more - if you're looking for an expert who will see you through a treatment with thorough advice, care and excellent communication, Jim's your man!

I wasn’t happy with my smile so I decided to get clear braces & teeth whitening with Braden Dental Care. I had open bite & very narrow smile So I didn’t really have huge hopes before booking the consultation but Jim was extremely helpful & professional from the start!! Always explained everything in little details. Also The girls at the reception are super friendly & welcoming. When the practise closed due to Coronavirus Jim contacted patients to reassure them and giving ongoing support. I first attended Braden Dental Care just over a year and a half ago. I wore braces when I was 16 and had lost my retainers so my teeth had moved considerably. I also had a black filling put in by another dentist which caused one of my front teeth to discolour and as a result I really hated my smile. Jim provided me with clear aligners and fitted a crown over the disoloured tooth. He also made my smile more symmetrical; a tooth on one side was shorter than the other side so he fixed this. My teeth had begun to move again after having braces as a teenager (I'm now in my 40's) so when I saw an ad on facebook for Braden Dental Care I knew it was exactly what I needed - no hassle, no fuss, no noticeable braces on my teeth, just a very discreet clear aligner. Jim and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and professional. The practice is beautiful - you can really feel the difference as soon as you enter the building - lovely waiting room, calming background music, short or no waiting times and - sorry but this really matters to me - a sparkling clean toilet with lovely toilet roll, hand soap and cream!! I was fully informed of the procedure every step of the way and was reassured to know that I would be fitted with a permanent retainer as well as a removable one (you can never be too careful, right Jim?!) after the work was complete - why oh why don't all orthodontists fit permanent retainers? Delighted with my teeth! I went for a consultation at Braden in December 2015, after being unhappy with my front teeth for years. I had already researched the options, but Jim talked me through it all again, with what he thought would work best for my teeth, would be most effective and the different costs. Weighing it all up, I went with the 'ice' fixed brace, had it on for 7 months in total, but even after 1 month there had been a lot of movement. The end result looks brilliant and completely straightened my teeth (even more so than I expected actually!), so I'm very happy with that. Braden Dental, I would highly recommend. I am completely satisfied with Braden Dental Care. I have had 2 dental emergencies at weekends and these were most efficiently dealt with by on call dentists under the plan I have. The regular dental hygienist appointment is useful as not only is it a separate and specialised profession, but there is much more time to descale, clean and advise than an NHS dentist would have. Helen seems to be an excellent dentist and the reception staff are all lovely. I am privileged to be able to afford to go privately but I am older now and I feel that it is a treat I both deserve and need!

I lost teeth to this practice years ago, a temporary filling was supposed to last more than two weeks. I ended up with a lost tooth and infection in the gum that spread to surrounding teeth and I wasn't gara n teed it wouldn't happen again.
