With 20+ years of horrendous dental experiences I can truly say I have never been more reassured, made to feel comfortable and treated humanely in all my life. Peter and his wife run an incredible practice, and without whom, I would never have been able to achieve the results I have now. Suffice to say, for.someone who would quake in fear of that chair...I look forward to seeing Peter again and continuing my progress. If you have any dental doubts or fears, this place is the perfect fit.

I previously had two separate bridge's that fixed 5 front teeth to my upper jaw that were in place for many year's, Peter and his team have plenty of knowledge and made me feel at home from the start.Within two month's of my initial visit I had a new e-max bridge that fixed 6 front teeth into place.The job done was A1 and follow up appointments to check on work completed. Can't recommend Peter and his team enough, I'm extremely happy with work done and I've been able to eat and smile properly without feeling a bit ashamed of my smile in a few years as my previous bridge's were compromised and causing me problems.

Bi-annual checkup and cleaning: As usual top notch service from Peter, Paula and folks. Quick check of teeth by Peter and straight into cleaning from Paula. Just like servicing a car, regular preventative maintenance is better than an expensive repair . I love the fact that everything is explained all the way through, which for those of us curious, is very reassuring. Extremely friendly staff, super protocols in place for anyone nervous about covid etc, and all round great experience.

I've always had a fear of the dentist. After reading some reviews online, I decided on East Belfast Dental Clinic. Every member of staff has been so courteous and professional. From my very first appointment, I have received exceptional treatment and care. My treatment has been so good, my wife has recently decided to become a patient herself.

Not one to give a five star review lightly but it’s well warranted in this case. Been a client of Peter for over a year now and being a very nervous patient he has taken time to talk me through everything and put me completely at ease. Honestly couldn’t speak higher of the whole staff. They’re one of the few businesses still strictly sticking to covid restrictions, with appointments necessary, temperature checks and masks worn by staff and patients in main waiting areas. The girls who work reception are always so lovely and friendly, the dentists and assistants are also really friendly and professional. They also offer a pay monthly plan which gives you 2 check ups per year and reduces some other fees which is great! Would give 10/10

Thankfully, I haven't needed to go to the dentist too often but sometimes there's no avoiding it - for times like that, it's good to know that East Belfast Dental are there. I had the great opportunity to be treated by both Lia and Peter in this extremely high quality service. The staff are always happy to welcome you and to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Both dentists explain every single step of the procedure and make clear what the problem is and how to fix it without using sophisticated dental terminology. At a time when NHS dentists failed me, I found these guys. Reasonably priced, prompt, and a good practice plan means I will probably never go back to NHS dentistry. No more sitting in the waiting room for half an hour either.

Going to the dentist is my least favourite thing to do, but East Belfast Dental make the experience less traumatising. I'm new to the practice and had my visit treatment visit last week. Peter and the team have completely transformed this clinic. I have recently had composite bonding carried out to fix some very badly stained white fillings at the front of my mouth. East Belfast Dental Clinic provided me with options to help keep my teeth in great condition. One of those options was mini implants for two areas of my teeth. All the staff at the clinic were wonderful, from explaining processes in advance to setting up appointments for treatment and post-care. Having joined the clinic in January 2021, I found everyone friendly and welcoming, all of which helped relieve any anxiety I may have had, and reassured me I had made the right choice. I particularly found the technology and processes used to fit the implants, to be state of the art. The process of getting the implants, giving them time to embed, and final fitting of them were fully explained by Peter, Gemma and staff. Every care was taken to make sure they were right for me. I cannot commend the staff and service I received, highly enough, and am now able to tackle all those foods I had to forgo over the past few years. Lia Kaltsi is perhaps the best dentist I have ever come across and has managed to complete compex procedures including a tooth extraction and root canals with minimal discomfort and a complete lack of pain. Staff are courteous and professional and the premesis is clean, modern and well equipped.

Office staff were very friendly as always, and then I was treated by Peter and his assistant. Got a filling and a little gum infection treated and as usual was pain free. I'm always so impressed with the staff, service and the outstanding skill, knowledge and attention to detail displayed by my dentist Lia. I look forward to every appointment! Having not visited a dentist in 10+ years prior to registering with east belfast dental, you can only imagine the immense dread going to my first appointment..... a lot of work needed to be done! I'm almost at the finish line and have a better smile than ever. In my most recent appointment I had a metal filling (which was over 20 years old) replaced with a white one as the tooth cracked. Very happy with visit to the Clinic....Very friendly staff, and appointments were carried out on time 24.07.2020 Second review..I had some pain in a tooth and was fitted in very quickly. The health measures put in place were excellent, and the new reception area is lovely. I saw Lea, who was excellent and examined my teeth carefully. Fortunately no extensive treatment was needed and I am following her advice with good results. I was very reassured to know that nothing was cracked or broken in the tooth. Excellent service.

Had toothache and contacted the surgery who got me in for an appointment within days, COVID procedures in place which was reassuring. Turned out I needed root canal work and a crown fitted😩, staff in full PPE for in the first appointment 90 minutes (people complaining about a mask) couldn’t have been more reassuring and got through it without to much discomfort. Two more appointments and crown fitted and all’s good again, thanks to all the staff.

I visited East Belfast Dental Clinic, 12/09/2018, for the first time. I had avoided attending my last dental clinic for 1.5 years due to the, less than respectful, attitude of the dental practitioner that I encountered. My experience with Catherine in East Belfast was a completely different experience. I can safely say that, in 20 approx. years, I have never had such a pleasant dental visit. Catherine was professional, polite and very gentle. She spoke to me in a very respectful manner and gave me a detailed explanation of my dental status. In addition, the reception staff, Gillian, and the dental nurse were also more than pleasant and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend this clinic to anyone who needs dental treatment. I have been registered for several years. Very friendly staff, well presented surgery. Access to surgery from the street is via several steps, some of which are steep, and the doorway and hall are fairly narrow. This makes access with my buggy challenging.

Just back from a quick session at EBD. As usual, the service is super friendly and super professional. I've been through about a 18 months of on and off cosmetic work, I didn't have any specific problems, it was just stuff I wanted done and I had to decide where to invest a fair chunk of change to get the results I wanted. Couldn't have made a better choice than EBD. I feel like one of the family there now and although my procedures are finished, I actually look forward to going back for my check up and hygienist appointments. Who says that??? Also, my hygienist advised me to buy a water flosser (never heard of such a thing). What a total game changer in oral hygiene that was. No idea how I ever lived without it. 5 stars for EBD. Couldn't be happier with my experiences there.

Must say all the staff are friendly and the service is excellent. The people there are so helpfull and understanding. The one down fall is the Access for disabled, would need a ramp at the front entrance to allow any wheelchair users to use their facilities. I suppose you could say that I am a somewhat nervous patient and had not been to a dentist for several years until I found East Belfast Dental Clinic. I made an appointment and attended with some trepidation but was made to feel at ease as soon as I arrived and throughout my treatment by the friendly and helpful staff. It was with some dismay that I discovered that I needed a filling and after having the appointment reminder arrive via both SMS ad E-mail the day of my visit soon came around. Once in the chair I was reassured by Catherine (the dentist) that she would stop at any time and that I simply needed to raise my arm to indicate that I was uncomfortable. She then numbed my gum with gel near the tooth which required filling and when she inserted the needle to fully anaesthetise the area I never felt a thing and as for the drilling and filling - well that was over very quickly and was totally pain free and without incident! I would highly recommend East Belfast Dental Clinic to any and all!

By far best dentist I've ever had. Staff are so accommodating and friendly. Dental staff are so gentle. I rang EBDC in severe pain and got an appointment within the hour.

At very short notice I contacted the EBDC to see if it was possible to get an emergency appointment to examine severe gum and tooth pain which had manifested overnight. The clinic was able to see me within an hour and upon examination I was diagnosed with a severe root infection. I was given immediate pain relief and a course of antibiotics to tackle the infection and swelling. I returned 5 days later when Peter was able to tackle the root of the problem (no pun intended) and proceeded to extract the tooth, which was beyond repair. While extraction was initially painful, follow up medication ensured that the pain subsided quickly and the gum has now fully healed. Many thanks to Peter and his team for again doing a quick and effective job on what was a challenging extraction. DB

After 6-7 years of not going to the dentist due to a bad experience elsewhere and then the traumatic birth of my daughter this year I was very wary about going anywhere and having to put my trust in someone else again but I can honestly say I am so glad I joined this practice. From the minute I joined and had my first appointment I was made to feel so welcome and everyone was so lovely! Phoned on Wednesday as I was in a lot of pain with my tooth and was given an appointment straight away for the next day. I honestly was so anxious and had no need to be as soon as I explained this to everyone they were so understanding and took the time to listen and reassure me that I was in safe hands! Was given antibiotics for an infection and booked in for Monday to get a root canal with Peter. I left my appointment feeling so much more confident about having to attend my next appointment and that’s all down to the amazing dentists and receptionists. Thank you for making my experience a positive one it really means a lot!
