Reviews of Sparkhill Dental Surgery
My 3 little girls attended the dentist a couple of weeks ago and i have to say Mr Sarfraz was excellent. He was kind and made the children feel very happy and comfortable. His knowledge was impressive. Overall he was excellent and i would definitely recommend.
Very professional service from safraz I missed my appointment and he then rescheduled it for today Friday and he explained everything to me flossed my teeth removed the stains and polished my teeth giving them a good clean very happy with the service given. The receptionist staff were also helpful in helping me fill out the forms before my appointment. Would highly recommend Safraz if you want a good teeth clean and advice he is the man to go to. Top lad Safraz hopefully will be bringing in my mum for her appointment.
I haven't been here long. I have to say the Dentist Sarfraz is awesome. He introduces himself to you first and explains everything clearly before starting treatment. Anyone with very poor english may say he doesn't know what he's doing and asking patients what to do but in reality he is explaining to them the treatment that is required and they can't understand him. I remember he told me that if I neglected my teeth for years and drinking sugar like no tomorrow then my jaw bone might crumble and deteriorate away due to multiple infections with my teeth and it will hurt alot and I will not notice when the injection medicine will be given due to the pain.
I initiated an appointment with this surgery, specifically with a gentleman named Safraz, a practicing dentist, who was extremely diligent. My appointment was predicated on recurring pain on the lower front molar, this generated significant discomfort over the previous two weeks. Safraz undertook exceptional steps to;
1. Listen to the patient
2. Take into account the full historical context
3. Devise a treatment strategy
He was exceptional in conveying a message where he articulated complex dental procedures into a coherent laymen’s narrative with a punctilious, thoughtful and assiduous remediation procedure.
Receptionist are nice as well as the dentist who actually cares for patients . I have realised receptionist have a no tolerance policy towards disrespectful patients so many of these reviews are probably from patients who cannot respect the authority of the receptionists and dentist. Overall have had a good experience and will recommend to freinds and family.
As usual great work and professional service! Friendly and helpful! 👌
Keep up with your impeccable work and service!
NEWS FLASH! Update on Sparkhill Dental Surgery Well I’m here again, with my 2024 review!
I’m now at the stage where my 40+ years of smoking has revealed where all the tar goes. Not just into your lungs but also into your gums and the hidden parts of the teeth. As we age, the gums recede and exposes the damage and it ain’t pretty!
Black brittle teeth that you can easily snap them off
While eating soft bread or accidentally hitting them with your spoon knife or fork. That’s me right now.
Great care and time taken to explain the next set of procedures and we started yesterday. Plans are in place and I know exactly what is going to happen and once again I’m not one bit fearful or frightened by going to the dentist which I went through for many years as explained below. A down to earth dentist ( natural decent guy who is not driven by the clock when he needs to inform his patients about moving forward and his assistant who has a friendly, professional approach who alway seems to be happy are a pleasure to have as a “caring” duo of dental professionals. Don’t be afraid of dentists anymore! It’s taken me the best part of thirty years or more to no longer fear and put off one of the most important health professionals in the health sector. Don’t waste you time or stress yourself out any more. They are, in a word…. Great!
I am at a loss for credible words to offer the general public about this surgery, from the staff on the front desk and the surgeon and assistant nurse who have taken care of me since Covid19 hit the U.K. back in February/March 2020. You’ll see below how this Dental Surgery have been taking care of my excruciating painful lower front teeth. Four in a row. I have kept away from dentists for many years due to poor “Private” Dentistry Surgeons that I have paid extortionate and unaffordable fees for a dreadful service and very painful, poor and disappointing outcome afterwards!
So here’s my most recent update review on Sparkhill Dental Surgery: I live 44 miles away from the surgery and would happily travel twice the distance! DURING THE LOCKDOWN due to emergency pain,
I have had four lower front teeth extractions in preparation for a lower partial denture to be made and fitted:
Step one: This dentist took impressions of all my existing and the degrading four front lower teeth.
Step Two: I returned to the surgery and had the four lower teeth extracted in timely intervals to avoid infection setting in by removing them all in one go so to speak.
Step three: On my next visit the last two more lower wobbly, loose and painful teeth were removed.
To my surprise at the end of the appointment I was presented with a partial denture to replace the four extractions! These dentures I was informed were to serve me as “temporary” dentures while my mouth/jaw adjusted to the removal of the genuine teeth that were torturing me for MONTHS!
I returned at the appointed time for a final impression to be taken for the permanent partial denture to be made and fitted.
Now anyone who has been through this procedure will be well aware that there’s considerable adjustment to the lower jaw while awaiting the “permanent” partial denture being manufactured.
Step four: I returned to the surgery for the temporary partial denture to be removed and my mouth remeasured for the final permanent dentures to be readjusted for the slightest change in my mouth/lower jaw.
The final impression was taken in a matter of minutes and I was told to return in ten days for the fitting of my permanent “new ” denture.
Well.... all done!
I’m going back to the surgery in a week and unbeknown to me, the surgeon also took an impression of my “upper” missing teeth (from years of neglect due to “my fear” of dentists!
I was and still am happy and content with the “temporary” dentures the surgeon provided me with! Nevertheless, I am going back to have the “permanent” adjusted dentures fitted in two weeks.
When I say “trust” I mean it
Very lovely practice with very nice receptionist dentist and nurses. Dentist stayed over working hours to finish treatment and gave me another appointment the next day for the remaining treatment! Can not recommend enough
Very good customer service from everyone at the surgery. Dentist is soo patient and takes his time to explain what the problem is and gives you best options of treatment. No more anxiety whilst going for my appointments.
