I've had a number of dentists at this practice, the last three at least have been great. Care, consideration and keeping me informed on whats going on puts me, a nervous patient, at ease. Current dentist is the best yet. I'm totally at ease. I'm remembered, he's aware of my anxieties and goes out of his way to let me know what's going to happen. The practice keeps me informed and sends a text reminder for appointments, very much appreciated.

I elected to have my teeth straightened with the Invisalign system, it was straightforward and took a year of wearing the clear plastic correctors to gradually straighten my teeth and improve my bite. I am in my mid 50s and my teeth began to really bother me as I participated in more and more zoom meetings! Some people are afraid of going to the dentist but whenever I visit this practice, I feel very welcome and highly informed about my teeth and how any problems can be fixed as well as to properly care for them. I've recently finished my Invisalign treatment. It only took 7 months to have my teeth straight. Everyone at the practice was very, very friendly, especially Nikki, who was my point of contact. She was replying to my emails promptly, answering all my questions, giving me advice, and booking my appointments. She is amazing. I can see why some people say that Dr Dhatt is arrogant but in my case, during my first appointment, I felt reassured because of that; I could see that he knows what he's doing and I can trust him with my smile. I gave 4 stars out of 5 because of the retainers and the whitening kit they say it's worth £300 which is not true. I paid £3800, after discount, for my treatment and I assumed that I'll get original Invisalign retainers, that are apparently stronger then others and come in pack of three, so you have spare one in case you break or loose your retainers. Instead, I got cheaper Essix retainers (1set), but when I asked Dr about it, he said that in his opinion, they're better. As for the whitening kit, I was given 2 syringes to do treatment at home and no whitening tray. I found the same kit on the internet for £35 and there are 4 syringes in the pack. When I mentioned that and expressed my concern about damaging my retainers with the whitening stuff, I was given whitening tray but was also told that they buy a big box of syringes (that's probably why they say it's worth £300) and give only two, so I wouldn't put too much gel in the tray and the two syringes should last for two weeks. But apart from that, I'm happy with my treatment and my experience. I can recommend this dental practice to others. Review changed to 5 stars today because I had another appointment and they were great. I went to see hygienist Ms Viatka,who was very friendly and professional, I had my teeth cleaned and polished, then I had a quick check up with a dentist and a scan with lovely Cristina for my new retainers. I've also got another two syringes with teeth whitening gel. The team is very friendly and helpful.

You are met by a dental nurse that opens the door for you to enter. You are asked to put some handsensitiser on your hands. Your temperature is taken and you are asked if you have any symptoms of cold or if you have been in contact with anyone that has covid. You are asked to take a seat and finds that it not long until you are being called to come into the treatment room. You are then met by a polite dental nurse that shows you were to put your bag etc. Then you are greeted by an equally polite dentist that gives you some small talk which I can imagen is very beneficial to those that has a fear of dental treatment. My dentist then asks me if it's alright to have the chair put into a reclining position. Treatment starts after you have answered his questions what he can do for you. My dentist is a gentle darling explaining what he has done and what I need to do to maintain good dental health. I'd recommend him and this surgery to anyone.

I came to Dental Centre Bournemouth to have orthodontic treatment. I was assigned to Dr Hardip Dhatt, I think he currently deals with all Invisalign cases at this practice. Dental Centre Bournemouth is titled a “Diamond Invisalign Provider”. The diamond certificate is not attributed to Dr Hardip Dhatt, but to Dr. Satinder Dhami, who does not work in this practice. After enquiring, I was told that Dr. Dhatt consults with Dr. Dhami in cases that require it, so diamond care is available if needed. If receiving diamond Invisalign care is what you are after then I’d advise you to enquire further at this practice when getting a consultation. I wouldn’t assume that you are receiving diamond Invisalign care just because you aren’t told otherwise. The reception and Dr. Dhatt’s assistants are all really lovely and kind people. Dr. Dhatt is a funny and charismatic person and has clearly worked very hard to get to where he is and I’m also pretty confident that everything said about him in other reviews is true. You will always know where you stand with Dr Dhatt, sometimes whether you like it or not, so I’m not surprised to hear that people have left the practice with negative experiences. To Dr Hardip’s credit, he listened to my thoughts and feelings, and made changes to my treatment plan based on the suggestions and reservations that I had. I experienced almost no physical discomfort for the whole treatment, they use state of the art technology and his final contouring of my teeth was amazing. Where Dental Centre Bournemouth mostly fell short is for me, is because I feel that Dr Dhatt’s initial consultation with me was a bit misleading. He showed me a series of treatments he’d performed that all had perfectly straight bottom teeth. Now I am post treatment, and one of my bottom teeth isn’t aligned. When I asked him about this, he essentially said “your teeth look great, it’s a nice natural look, I think we’re done.” but on reflection, I'm not sure why he would show me perfectly aligned bottom teeth in my initial consultation, if he thought slightly crooked ones were somehow better. He also told me I’d get permanent wire retainers included in my treatment during my initial consultation, but I didn’t end up getting this because I was told post treatment that my “mouth wouldn’t fit them”. I was told this after I had already paid for them as part of my treatment. I was also on the NHS patient waiting list for over a year and never received a slot even though I was initially told it would take a couple of weeks. My teeth look great overall, but I do feel like I left Dental Centre Bournemouth feeling like I paid for things that I didn’t receive. I experienced some eyebrow raising moments and some things just didn’t add up quite right for me.

I have been coming to Dental Centre for half a year now and I have received different treatments from hygiene check, filling to wisdom tooth removal. The latter I was the most afraid of. But as soon as I stepped into the room the friendly atmosphere and professionalism made me feel so calm and relieved straight away. Amazing service, had an urgent appointment with the dentist Jason Wong and he was fantastic. Why did I give 5 stars...because 10 is not available. I'm 54 and this is by far the best dental practice I've had. Dr Nickowski and his assistant Cristina have been amazing dealing with a issue I have had resulting with a cyst being removed from my upper jaw. The Dr would even call me to see how things were going with my progress on having the operation at Poole hospital which I've never had before. If it wasn't for Dr Nickowski finding this problem I probably would have lost most of my upper jaw. I would also like to give a special mention Abbey and Holly the receptionists who helped getting my appointments sorted out so efficiently when the situation became urgent which was a great personal relief. Everyone here are very pleasant and charming and if you are looking for a dentist to sign up to then look no further.

I'm very dentist phobic, and haven't been to one in 5 years as a result. I've also developed severe mental health issues such as crippling levels of anxiety which has contributed to my decision to keep away. Furthermore, my last experience at my previous dentist left me writhing in agony, which further contributed to my fear. During lockdown, I've developed severe pain with my teeth, and after finding out I was no longer a member at my previous dentist, the team here agreed to see me privately to resolve the pain. They were extremely welcoming, understanding and patient, nor was there any lecture about my teeth which was a welcome change. Special thanks must go to Holly and Hayden, receptionists; and to Francis who did the extraction, all of whom did everything possible to make me feel at home and relaxed. Francis was very happy to give me as many breaks as I needed during the procedure, continually praised and encouraged me and explained everything very clearly. The team even agreed to discount the price of the extraction due to my low income which was much appreciated. I am unlikely to be able to continue to afford to come here in the long term, but as long as I have the money I will be a patient here, I couldn't find a single fault.

The orthodontist is arrogant, he can be nice but his tone when you ask questions, as if it's a stupid question and the answer is obvious. He's consistently late and changes his availability all the time. Throughout the time I had my braces I had to go for regular appointments and had the braces in months longer than needed because they cancelled appointments left right and centre - he's sick then he decides he wants to finish early, then he wants to start later, then he's on holiday - couldn't wait to stop seeing him.

This caused me discomfort for the months to come including some enamel damage and it had to be corrected by another dentist recently. Since then it's been fine and the tooth itself holds well.

I was introduced to the Dental Clinic at Bournemouth by a friend as i needed some very complicated route canal work due to an infection. The procedure was very complicated as we needed to remove an old fashioned screw fixing from my toothe which was holding the existing crown in place. Thanks to John Lee, the route canal specialist at the clinic, we managed to complete the difficult procedure after a view visits which then saved my toothe I then had a perfect crown fitted to finish the job I have to honestly say the level of service was superb on all fronts and i was made to feel very relaxed and comfortable throughout all of the treatments I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone for an excellent, proffessional and friendly service G .Warriner
