I've needed both quite major emergency treatment twice during pandemic, as well as ongoing repairs. Although I've been registered at the practice for years now, I've been touched and impressed all over again by the care given - from the Reception team to Ash & Lynda in the treatment room. I got really anxious today before a big extraction, and they took time to talk me through, get me settled. Aftercare always great too when I've needed prescriptions. Recommend them to everyone.

I had an appointment with the dentist Ash and his dental nurse Lynn today, and they were both brilliant, I couldn't have asked for better care. I have been to 2 dentists previously with the same problem one was awful and the second helped temporarily. But today the whole team went above and beyond from the guy on reception who held the door open for me (as I am on crutches), to the dentist and his nurse. I would recommend these guys to anyone who needs any dental care. very caring, understanding and gentle.

I was seen by Ash and Lynda for a tooth filling. I am extremely satisfied with the service and the treatment I received. They explained things that is so easy to understand, I felt very relaxed and so grateful with their service with a brilliant result.

An excellent NHS Dentist. Highly recommended. I have received dental treatment from this NHS Dentist (Ashraf) since circa 2016. The quality and consistency of treatment has been excellent. The Dentist has provided everything from check-ups to Root Canal Surgery (via Endodontist) and Crown work with other jobs in between. To be honest., he has got me out of a lot of trouble, dental-wise! He has always taken the time to clearly explain my dental health needs and the options available to me. The surgery itself is clean and well presented - more like a Private Practice than an NHS dental surgery. I am 100% satisfied with his work and will continue to use his services. His hygienist (previously Ramona) Maria is also thorough and dedicated to providing excellent service.

As a foreign student, it was quite stressful to figure out what to do to take care of an abcess I had on my gum, espeially during a pandemic and during lockdown. After hours spend on the phone calling different numbers the NHS was directing me to, I went to falmer dental care and they immediatly took care of me there. They explained me carefully what the issue was and what I needed to do, either at their practice or back home. I decided to have my tooth extracted at their facilities and everyone was very sweet in explaining me what was going to happen, and reassured me that it wouldn't hurt. They even provided me papers to bring to my dentist back home to let them know the procedure that was done. The extraction lasted less than a minute and I did not feel any pain. Very please with this dental care and the people working here.

Special praise for the dental nurse Lynda. She really made an effort to make me feel at ease, and did her best to make me get through the quite rough procedure I needed, due to being terrified of dentists and avoiding it for years. Overall, everyone friendly and helpful.

I have been going to Dental Care Falmer for years and have always had good, efficient dental checkups and treatment. I needed to see the dentist during the lockdown and felt safe and reassured. There was hand sanitizer and the receptionist was behind a Perspex screen. The dentist and dental assistants were all wearing PPE and the equipment was being constantly cleaned and sanitized while I was there. It is a shame that the hygienist is not able to offer services at the moment, but the dentist was able to give me a very rigourous scale and polish.

I had appointment with hygienist Maria, what an amazing experience. She is the best hygienist I ever had treating me. She is kind when explained and talk to me through the appointment. Telling me what she was doing and why in an easy, friendly and professional manner. So I knew what to expect.From now on,I will not let anyone else to clean my teeth. I am highly recommending her to anyone who is looking for a very professional and extremely friendly hygienist, to book an appointment with Maria and you will not be disappointed. I will always book appointments with Maria even when she moves to a different practice. I will follow her by doing search on her name to see where she is working so do not lose her or let her go. I cannot recommend the hygienist Maria enough. Not only is she excellent at giving dental advice, she is kind, warm, and funny, and makes you feel completely at home when you visit her - it's not often you go to the dentist feeling somewhat inspired about life! I find the dentist often makes me extremely anxious, but not one bit of anxiety was felt on my visit, and I really really do look forward to seeing her again - all hygienist should be like her. Some people are too scared to go back, but I am sure this will not be the case for any past or future clients who see Maria.

It was a pleasant and surprising experience to be greeted by a courteous male receptionist with a warm and broad smile. The worries that I had about visiting this dentist for the first time soon became a distant memory when I was greeted in the same way by Natalie, the dental nurse, who escorted me from the reception to the surgery. Here I was introduced to Dr Elamin the dentist. He encouraged me to call him "Ash", jokingly stating that he would not hurt me a lot but maybe only a tiny bit. The entire surgery was clean being a clinical environment which I was able to appreciate a great deal being a Clinical Optometrist. In all, I can sum it all to be a good experience. I would thoroughly recommend this surgery to any of my patients as the standard of care was not only great but they all gave well reasoned answers to all of the questions that I posed them concerning the management of the clinical issues I presented with.

I had the male dentist and he was very nice and did not make me feel rushed. Perhaps it was because many of the students have gone home now, so there weren't many people waiting. He has an accent, but I could understand him perfectly and I certainly would not say he was unintelligible. I think they are looking for private patients, to make more money. I was aware that I needed 2 fillings doing, and he told me that white fillings are not covered on the NHS. Most NHS dentists will do white ones for no extra charge, so I declined to have them done here. I went to my other dentist in my hometown only 7 months before, and she had told me I had needed a filling, and during the time after this, I knew that there was now a problem with one of my other fillings. However, this Falmer dentist told me that I would need to have 7 fillings done!! This seemed a little odd to me, because I couldn't believe I would suddenly need 6 new fillings done over the course of 7 months, as I take good care of my teeth. It could be that he was telling the truth, but as I had read some negative things on here, I decided to get a second opinion before proceeding. He was helpful and printed off the information about my teeth for me, so I could take it to my home-town dentist. He also cleaned and polished my teeth for me, for no extra charge on top of my check up. In summary, I would absolutely recommend this dentist to go to for a check up and to have a good teeth clean, but as for the rest, I'm not sure.

Would highly recommend anyone looking for a proficient and extremely friendly hygienist in Brighton to book an appointment with Maria and you will not be disappointed. She has been the best hygienist I have ever had.

I been there couple of times and I have to say that always everything was OK. Lady in the reception is extremely nice and helpful and dentist him self know very well his job. There is also hygienist , which gave me a lot of simply tips how to maintain fresh breath. On the end I want to say that i had very serious problem with my teeth and thanks to them I am now perfectly fine . For me five stars

Today was my root canal with Ashraf Elamin, A massive thank you & i highly recommend this gentman. My proceedure was a difficult one & ended with success.
