I was incredibly nervous about going to the dentist, but the wonderful team at South cliff made the experience as pleasant as possible. Nour and Sophie were very patient, kind and understanding. From the point of initial inquiry up to treatment I've been really impressed with the whole team and experience.

Best dentist I have been to in the area for sure. The receptionist is great, friendly, switched on, she knows the score and remembers your name, a real professional. The dentist and wingman (sorry I don't know the correct term) were, so good, I was pretty scared of having my tooth pulled out, but they handled it and me, very well. They made sure I was in no pain. The anaesthetic was taking a long time to work for me, so the dentist asked me to come back in an hour and she removed the tooth ON HER LUNCHBREAK. Absolutely above and beyond, legends!

Very professional team, all welcoming. Haran (the dentist) is very gentle and understanding, makes you feel comfortable and is clear about treatment plans. Would recommend this experience to anyone who suffers with dental anxiety. One of the best places to go; truly deserves 5 stars.

I recently visited this dentist and was welcomed by the staff in a very warm and friendly manner, they even had the time to have a little laugh with me while I was waiting to be seen. At all times the staff were wearing PPE and conducted themselves in a very professional manner. I would highly recommend this practice and would urge others to give them a try if you are in need of a dentist or treatment.

Treatment is first Class *****.I Give them 5 for that. Receptionist is so friendly and professional. You get addressed by your name special. I would refer anyone to this poor looked down suburb Surgery. I have left the posh Dental surgery in Woodingdean as l was treated like rubbish.

So very soothing! I’m scared stiff of needles in mouth but they do put you at ease and they do go above and beyond to make you feel comfy! They numbed my mouth and then did the injections in the front of my mouth. Aaran is awesome tbf . Very chatting and very feeling. I don’t worry about going anymore xxx

I've had several problems with dentists since have wisdoms out. John is very approachable and is always welcoming and caring. So nice to be able to smile again without feeling bad about my teeth. GREAT DENTIST. Oh and nurse helper is great at taking mind of worrying and relaxing talk to.

Been here many times for check ups and dental work, always clean and tidy... the staff are friendly and always professional they try they’re best to accommodate you even when busy, the reception is always kept spotlessly clean and tidy and the receptionist herself is very polite, professional and friendly... would recommend to anyone seeking dental work. 5 stars from me.

I went into the practise yesterday and I was terrified, I had John as my dentist and he was amazing. Such a funny guy, straight to the point and no pain. The only pain I felt was from laughing too much. Never thought going to the dentist would be such a laugh. 100% a go to if you’re terrified.

Friendly staff, but always running at least 30 mins late!! If I knew this was the case every time I’d turn up later so I wasn’t sat in the waiting room for ages wasting time. Would give 5 stars if they were more punctual.

I am an extremely nervous patient but I called into this surgery a couple of weeks ago to see if they had an emergency dentist number. I have not had a dentist for a year and had a very wobbly and painful tooth. The sweet receptionist registered me and made me a same day appointment. I have to say I spent the following two hours at home sweating and panicking and trying to be a grown up - all in equal measures. Went back for my appointment and although it took me ages afterwards to stop shaking at the fact that I had a tooth out it was done with such care, no fuss and so many giggles (on my part because 'John the Dentist' is hilarious and very calming at the same time) I have no worries about going back for more treatment in the next few weeks. All of the staff are lovely and friendly and caring and in a very platonic way I am a little in love with 'J the D' Thanks to you all for sorting out my pain and making me giggle for the first time ever at a dental surgery. I've got a complete fear and phobia of dentists. I saw John yesterday who is just amazing! He managed to get me to have a big back tooth extracted & staystay and laugh! No panic attack or trauma! Absolutely 1 in a million! Thank you very much for restoring my confidence in dentists and I'm not in any pain at all!

Amazing male dentist, my mum went straight in didn’t have to wait and had tooth out straight away my mum suffers with anxiety and he was really patient and helped my mum a lot.

I saw John he’s amazing defo won’t see anyone apart from him after very long time with a bad tooth being told it probably couldn’t be saved he rebuilt my tooth fixed one next to it first time in a year I’m pain free can eat properly also was great with my 2 autistic children whom I had with me also registered them at dentist for them to see him too nice to have dentist that’s understanding willing to see my autistic children too
