I visited the practice for the first time this morning, having not visited a dentist for around 5 years previously due to anxiety. All the staff were very friendly and everyone went above and beyond in order to make me feel at ease. My dentist Nina was polite and professional and talked me through every step of the appointment which really helped with my anxiety. Overall it was a great experience and i wouldn't hesitate to recommend the practice. I'm now considering swapping the rest of the family to this dentist as the difference in care between Hallows and our original dentist was so substantial.

Me and my son have been a patient of James for over 10 years and I could not recommend a better dentist. He and everyone at Hallows make you feel so welcome and at ease. The practice is just delightful with a light waiting area, refreshments on offer and a lovely book corner for the childern. Over the years James has amazed me by how understanding he is towards my son (SEN needs), I genuinely could not speak higher of James and Kay. If your looking for a new dentist you should 100% be looking to get on their list.

I have recently joined the practice after 8 years of not seeing a dentist at all due to a terrible fear needles and previous bad dental experiences!! I came on a recommendation from a friend and can say I’m so impressed with The Hallows. I was given an appointment with James and can honestly say I have never met such a lovely and compassionate person as him. He completely put my mind at ease even thou I had to face my biggest fear (needles and fillings)!! I had my first filling appointment today and James made the experience comfortable and has made me realise that Dentists should not be feared!! James is professional, funny and caring, he really understood my fears and has helped me to not feel anxious about visiting the dentist anymore!! The practice itself is beautifully decorated and clean. The receptionists and dental nurses are lovely and really welcoming when you come into the practice. If anyone is like myself and fear the dentist I strongly urge you to visit The Hallows as I can assure you they will be able to help you as they have helped me. I won’t be skipping the dentist ever again as I have found a dentist I can trust, in fact I may go as far to say I will be looking forward to my appointments with James and the team from now on. I have been coming to this surgery for over a year now and had the pleasure of having Paul as my dentist. Before this for many years I had really bad experiences with dentist specially in the NHS which made me very apprehensive and scared to go back again. I have decided to go back again as I needed quite a few things to be done and after reading the reviews of this place I decided to give it ago . BEST DECITION I HAD IN A VERY LONG TIME. Everyone here is kind and treat customers very well , starting with the receptionist to the Nurses and Dentist alike. Very clear from the start with prices and treatments. Paul is been amazing, he is made me feel very confident again showing my smile and every time I come for a treatment I leave feeling very well and that he is done such a good job and I know it wasn't an easy task as I had a lot of treatments to be done. You can tell he has a lot of experience an he is very honest They always try to find the best suitable ways to have treatments done and the organization in this place and cleanliness' is to a very high standard Thank you everyone and Merry Christmas :)

As someone who has grown up dreading my visits to the dentist, and having teeth that reflect this, I cannot praise James Hallows highly enough. He is a friendly, highly skilled and very professional dentist who manages to deliver exceptional treatments (including in my case a very tricky root canal) while making you feel like an old friend just popping round for a cuppa. He really cares about his patients and I would not hesitate to recommend him and his practice to anyone. I never thought I'd say this, but I now genuinely look forward to my visits to the dentist!

I would highly recommend this Dental Practice. They clearly care alot about their patients. I have been really pleased with the every appointment I've had . Kay is a fantastic dentist and all the staff are really friendly and welcoming. My mum and partner have recently joined the Practice and they equally feel the same. I can't praise Hallows Dental Practice enough. James and Kay have thought of everything you could possibly need, from spare packs of toothbrushes and toothpaste in case you've gone straight from work, baby changing facilities, a choice of hot drinks and WiFi in the waiting room. The "his and hers" surgeries are full of state of the art, brand new equipment. When you go for your check up it's like visiting a friend not a dentist! All the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

So glad that James and Kay are back in practice - we have really missed their friendly, caring, professional and efficient service. I used to hate going to the dentist but now I am unafraid and quite look forward to my chats with James, Kay and the team before and during treatment. Over the time I have been a patient of Kay's I know she has done her best to conserve my teeth after many years of neglect on my part and now I have no problems and just need 6 monthly check ups. In the past I have suffered from several abcsesses and all I needed to do was phone the surgery and Kay would see me immediately and solve the problem.

Hallows is amazing. Forget all your childhood memories of a dentist and head to Hanham. A warm welcome from reception as this was my 1st visit.... even though I have been following Anthony for a few years. Love the lights leading to the 'room with a view' (I did notice ground floor rooms if height is not for you) A very professional and pleasant experience. Easy to reach by car or public transport and an extremely happy environment.

A lovely, clean, modern building with really friendly staff. Kay is brilliant with my 2 and 4 year old boys who compete to see who can get a ride in the 'rocket chair' first. When I needed a filling Kay did an excellent job. I would thoroughly recommend them.

James takes the time to explain things clearly and gives you the options available. He isn't in a hurry to get you in and out of the door as quickly as possible. He truly cares about doing the best for patients whereas some seem more focussed on chasing the money. When they had to move because their old practice didn't share these values, I waited until they had their new surgery ready and could practice again and moved with them.
