Went for the first time in donkeys' years this week. Upon booking my new patient appointment on Monday I received email and text reminders of my appointment and all the staff were really nice. Following the appointment it was decided I needed a filling replaced and a general clean and scale. This was scheduled three days later for Thursday. I have to admit there's a chance the clean and scale could have had a bit more attention to detail but the general dentistry and replacement of the filling by Simon and his assistant Isabella (I hope that I got her name right!) was absolutely brilliant. 3 days later and better than it's been for years. Thanks and in terms of my feeling about the overall experience I couldn't be happier - 11/10 :)

Jonathan is such a reassuring dentist who tells you what he is doing every step of the way . He makes going to the dentist a very relaxing experience, which isn't usually something you can usually say about the dentist . I'm slightly (but only slightly) embarrassed to say that I nodded off twice during a root canal filling. That's never happened before and is an indication of how calm and relaxing the whole experience was .

I've been attending the dental surgery for over 20 years and have always has a good relationship with Paul Murphy who I feel is an excellent dentist and today's visit was no exception. However on my trip on the 7th Dec I was quite shocked at the change to the reception room. Gone the wonderful comfortable sofas the small & unobtrusive reception area. In their place some quite dreadful 'corporate' style square leather? armchairs and a huge reception desk which completely dominates the room and gives the space the ambience of an office reception, rather than a soothing place in which to relax before what for many can be a daunting experience. Whoever has redesigned this I feel got the atmosphere badly wrong and in all honesty I cannot give my experience 5 stars despite my high regard for Paul. So unfortunately lose 1 star for the strangely uninviting decor

Disappointed that there was still significant staining on my teeth after seeing the hygienist. I wasn’t given a mirror to inspect my teeth at the end so only noticed when I got home and my partner also noticed it! The appointment itself was fine the staff friendly and professional. I attended the Hygienist followed by the check up on 22/04/21 at a total cost of £95-50p. I had exactly the same treatment on 25/11/21 at a total cost of £112-00p. A 17% increase in 7 months. The treatment was very thorough and professional, but the price increase hurt.

Having had poor service from a previous dental surgery it has been a revelation to come to this practice and see how things should be done. Prices and extras were transparent and clearly relayed on payment. Offers available to new patients and other promotions run (for example on tooth whitening) make this an affordable option. But most importantly we all felt at ease with our Dentist, especially my youngest child. They also welcome NHS patients.
