Fantastic, would definitely recommend this practice. My experience with them has been that they are very reassuring, helpful and professional. Getting an appointment even at short notice is not a problem, and they always seem very happy to help and fit around our schedule. Other family members who have been nervous about dental work have also been put at ease after attending here, and the dental team here are really understanding.

I cannot recommend this dental surgery enough. The reception staff are absolutely lovely and so incredibly helpful. The dentist I saw exceeded my expectations in every way, she is warm, kind and professional (especially appreciated when you are a nervous patient like myself) and her aesthetic eye is sensational. I was apprehensive about having the bond on one of my front teeth replaced by a new dentist and she made it look 100 times better than it did before. I won't be going anywhere else now.

Great experience with this surgery. With massive backlog at my previous dental surgery post-COVID (no fault of their own), opted to see if I could find another which might be able to see me sooner. After a quick call, I was booked in for a consultation (and general check-up) within the week, from which I was then given a plan for a series of follow-up appointments (spaced over a month or so) which would address all issues. Overall, found it very quick and easy process with plenty of support throughout.

I have been using Bupa at Cardiff Bay for close to 10 years now. The team are excellent and always give great advice on what to do to maintain oral health. After a long period of not visiting the dentist regularly, I had quite a bit of work to do. I feel very happy and confident about my oral health thanks to Pete and his team. Big thumbs up to the fact you can park for free for an hour on Bute Street and walk over.

I’ve had such bad experiences with dentists in the past, walked in here crying my first time… but I can honestly say I would never go anywhere else! Nia is fantastic, the hygienist (sorry forgot her name) is so lovely, bubbly and full of knowledgeable information she’s eager to tell you! They both talked me through everything so thoroughly. What I thought was going to be painful, turned out to be quick, easy and painless! In the past the same procedure wasn’t pleasant in different dentists. I’m so grateful for the team there! The receptionist lovely too! Highly recommend. Wish I came here years ago!

What a fabulous Practice ! from the minute I walked in I was welcomed by a lovely Lady at Reception - The Practice Manager was lovely, spoke to me, asked me how my day was going, did I find my way here ok etc. The place looks so plush! I felt really special there, even had a Goodie Bag. All Staff were so kind and really looked after me. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend to anyone wishing to join. Who would have thought a visit to the Dentist would've been so enjoyable! :)

As someone who has suffered from major anxiety when it comes to any kind of dental treatment, this dental practice has completely changed that for me. I can honestly say since joining the practice at BUPA Cardiff Bay I can now go knowing I will be greeted and reassured by a caring, friendly and professional team of people. The treatments I receive are thorough and effective. I am on the Dental Essentials plan which is superb and I am never made to feel I need or should increase the level of my cover. I am always given such positive encouragement from the hygienist who always makes me feel relaxed and cared for.....which is a boon as I have to go every twelve weeks. Now, let’s be honest I am certainly not kart wheeling down my hallway with excitement at the thought of my appointment but after sixty plus years it really doesn’t get much better than this...Thank you the super people at Bupa Mermaid Quay.

Been coming to this practice for the last 6 months as my nhs dentist only sees emergency cases, if it hadn't been for this practice seeing me I wouldn't have managed to get my teeth checked at all. 2nd November I started my invisalign and 1 year later my teeth are perfectly straight. Nothing but amazing customer service and care to attention from the staff here, always made me feel very welcome. Appointments are very flexible and were booked usually every 1/2 weeks so this speeds up the process a lot rather than hanging around on waiting lists. As my invisalign treatment has now finished I am due to start the whitening stages of my package which I am excited for. After using Bupa Dental Care I dont think I will be returning back to public dentists.

I chose this practice because it is open after office hours and I have been impressed at every visit. I have a number of problems because I failed to care for my teeth properly in my late teenage years. After a thorough examination and being given advice supported by X rays and computer imagery, I have chosen to start with having one tooth removed, and an implant. At the first procedure I was nervous, and was in discomfort because of an underlying infection, so they stopped, and re-scheduled the appointment. At the second appointment the staff were very careful to make sure I was not uncomfortable, and used a different anaesthetic. The work was carried out with extreme care, and the next day I have no pain or discomfort in my jaw at all. I am full of admiration for Dr Murray’s expertise and the professionalism of all his staff, including the friendly and supportive reception team.

when looking for a reputable cosmetic dentist for Veneers I was recommended Mermaid Quay Bupa Dental Care by a friend who was a long term customer. I had my initial consultation with Peter who provided a treatment plan based on some dental work I needed doing and then my ideal cosmetic treatment. We carried out the plan over a few appointments and within a few weeks of first appointment I was delighted to have my veneers fitted and absolutely loved my new smile. The whole process was a pleasure, Peter was very careful to be sure he understood exactly what my hopes were for the treatment plan and he delivered on everything I wanted, an excellent dentist. The Communication and process was easy and the customer service team delightful. I had my initial treatment 3 years ago and have continued with the Surgery as my regular dentist. If you're looking for a quality local dental surgery or want cosmetic dental treatment I highly recommend Peter and the team.

First appointment at this dentist,dreading it after my last dentist from west wales. Two fillings and the thing I hate most,injections. Well I have to say it was the most pleasant time at the dentist ever. I was fully expecting excruciating pain from the anaesthetic injection.....again. On a scale out of 10, only 1. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. If you are used to NHS dentist prices then going private can be a bit of a shock. But it is a very different experience. The premises are very clean and modern looking. The staff are very friendly and polite. The equipment they use looks very futuristic and the service is superb. The staff are very competent, I had a scale and polish which lasted about 25 minutes, in that time I also had a demo of how to floss properly and was even given some funky toothpaste to try too- which you wouldn't get if you went to an NHS dentist. I feel a bit weird saying I am looking forward to going back...
