Everyone at the Practice is lovely, the reception was really helpful. I just went for a scale and polish and Eli was supportive and very thorough with his discussing of my teeth, how to clean them properly etc. I am a very nervous patient and the dental hygienist assistant… (sorry, forgot your name but you are the petite, pretty Polish girl) was wonderful at comforting me throughout the procedure and helping me get through the process. Huge thanks you you all, From, Ruth with the headphones and Abba music! X

Dr. Eirini Pasisi has been wonderful, my teeth look and feel amazing. I underwent an extraction on Monday 9th November, Barry was extremely patent and professional with me, explaining it was the right decision due to the ( roots ) in my Molar. I have to say Nicky his Dental Nurse was absolutely wonderful, she held my hand all the way through the procedure. Nicky you are a people's person, your caring attitude is second to none. I am a very nervous patient, however having Nicky around helped me through. She even called me the day after asking how I was feeling and to come up to the practice anytime if in doubt. So pleased with the results of my clear aligner treatment which took around 7 months to straighten my teeth. The results were great from this however I still had some gaps between my second and canine teeth (which was making the canines look much bigger) which Barry was able to correct via composite bonding. Having had to find a new dentist as my previous dentist Cathedral Dental clinic had appalling customer care and tried to rip me off under the guise of the Pandemic. I was so relieved to be recommended Holmes Dental care. I cannot speak highly enough of the practice. The care and treatment I have received has been exceptional. It has made me realise what a good dentist should be and they have exceeded my expectations. My minor surgery was painless due to the skill of the dentist and the amazing technology they have. They have put a smile back on my face and have restored my confidence in dentists. If I needed any more implants in the future they would without a doubt do an excellent job. I cannot recommend Holmes Dental Care highly enough. Dr. Barry Holmes and his team provide outstanding dental treatment in a welcoming, relaxed environment, using state-of-the-art equipment. Patient plans are discussed and agreed, offering choice and an opportunity to budget for dental work that needs to be carried out. An affordable monthly payment plan is also available. Appointments can be booked online via the practice portal, which offers virtual consultations and evaluations. The past forteen months have been hugely challenging for Barry and his team. Throughout the pandemic, his leadership has been exemplary. From the outset Barry has kept his patients fully informed of the situation, sending comprehensive emails with details of developments, changes and, most importantly, clarification of the numerous steps being taken to ensure that the practice was Covid safe for eveyone. Barry and his team made a monumental effort in challenging conditions, to resume normal practice as soon as possible, given the restrictions imposed upon them. They certainly achieved their goal of exceeding my expectations. Coronavirus has had a profound impact on the work of dentists, dental nurses, dental hygienists and dental receptionists. I couldn't be more grateful to Holmes Dental Care for looking after my dental health to such a high standard, during difficult times when their professional needs were not being acknowledged and met.

My son had a brace fitted at the dental hospital and he needed a gum shield for contact sport. I contacted lots of orthodontists and dentists in Cardiff and was told that because they didn’t fit the brace and because he wasn’t a patient of that practice they couldn’t give him a orthodontic gum shield. Other dental receptionists couldn’t be bothered to check if that was a service they provided and didn’t bother to check and phone me back as requested. I phoned Holmes dentist in Whitchurch and my experience was fantastic from start to finish. They confirmed that it was definitely something they could help me out with and made an appointment for the next working day. When we arrived we were greeted by a lovely friendly receptionist. The practice is lovely and clean with drinking water available in the waiting area. My son saw Barry who was really lovely and made my son feel at ease and explained the procedure of taking a mould if his teeth. He was extremely knowledgeable. The turnaround for the gum shield was extremely quick - 2 days! Which meant my son didn’t miss out on his first game of contact rugby. I would give this dental practice a 5 star rating and will definitely return when the need arises. Thanks so much.
