Had two visits to Colchester Dental Specialist Centre. Both very enjoyable experiences. Brilliant service from the moment I stepped through the door. 2st visit CT scan and explained the findings in the tooth root in question and treatment plan. Second was the tooth root canal surgery which was very expertly done. Now less than 24 hours after very minimal pain in the tooth and treatment all completed in 1 treatment. Brilliant service and treatment from Noman Athwal. I can not thank you enough.

Colchester Dental Specialist Centre just saved and beautifully repaired two of my teeth without having to wait for months, to very high standards, with top notch technology used by professional, talented and caring dentists. At every stage, treatment was explained, questions answered and proper after care advice given. I had root canal treatment by Noman Athwal, done without pain. He also picked up on another problem I then had the chance to address in a proactive way. Following that, I had 2 crowns fitted by Franciska Veldhuizen and her assistant Antonia who make a wonderful, passionate about their work team and looked after me like I was family. The resulting work is both very aesthetically pleasing and of enhanced functionality. I would also like to mention the ladies at reception who are so lovely and efficient. I highly recommend them. It is also easy to get to and to park.

I was extremely impressed with Colchester Dental Specialist Centre, I had to have a re-root canal surgery due to the old root canal becoming infected. This required the old root canal to be removed, cleaned up and then on a second visit re-done. After both visits I had no pain after the surgery and the only small amount of pain was from the numbing injections prior to the surgery. The place is very professional, very clean and obviously have all the newest equipment as I've never seen kit like it. I would highly recommend.

I've unfortunately had quite alot of dental work carried out over the years due to having gum/periodontal issues however this is the first time I've been referred to this practice. This was for re-root canel treatment to eliminate an infection and I must say I've been very impressed by the standard of the treatment/service I received. Sameena and her assistant Maria (I believe) were very competent, capable and made a difficult procedure a pleasant as possible experience and I would certainly not hesitate in recommending them.

Having just completed my treatment at Colchester Dental Specialist Centre, I am delighted to offer this review. They truly are specialists in every aspect of their service. Telephone calls and front-of-house tasks are undertaken with professionalism, warmth and efficiency. Those attending to the arrival of patients are welcoming, whilst also being attentive to the Covid regulations - which gives patients a sense of feeling safe from the outset. As for the care and expertise provided by Ahmed and his assistant, I was so impressed on each occasion by the standard of care and professionalism. I was very much aware that they were taking a genuine interest in my particular requirements, and I felt extremely confidant relying upon Ahmed for a perfect outcome. Ahmed explained the options very clearly, and his attention to detail is first-class. I am extremely pleased with the outcome, along with all the helpful advice that Ahmed took the trouble to provide at the review appointment. Just had a root canal done today, was treated by Dr Rose Mulvey and her colleague at Colchester Dental Specialist Center. As expected, I was nervous before the treatment and during the initial stages of the procedure, but this waned as treatment progressed, by the time the root canal ended, I was so relaxed. Thus my experience was exactly the opposite of what I expected. After minor niggles at the beginning, the treatment was painless. Dr Mulvey and her colleague did an excellent job of putting me at ease and checked with me if everything was okay throughout the procedure. Again, she did such a fantastic job which belie how many have portrayed root canals. I am glad my dentist referred her, and I also recommend her.

I've gone to the Colchester Dental Specialist Centre a few times now and every time I have been well looked after. Rose & her assistant are extremely professional & take the time to explain what's happening. I can happily say that I haven't received better dental treatment than I have from Rose. The receptionist staff are also amazing. When I had extreme pain problems from a wisdom tooth extraction, I had issues speaking to my regular dentist, but Linda was always there at the end of the phone to help me out as best as she could.

I have just had root canal treatment with Tiago Pimental and his assistant which comprised two treatment sessions. Not only was the quality of care and service impeccable but I have suffered no pain throughout the experience. Everything was clearly explained and reviewed throughout the treatment sessions. I initially had to go to the practice for root canal treatment, unfortunately the tooth couldn't be saved as it had a crack in it. After having the tooth removed I decided to go for an implant. The final stage was held up due to Covid, upon returning a month ago the procedure was completed. Through the whole experience and with each different dentist I have seen at each stage I can honestly say. it has been a pleasure! I have felt at ease, each part was explained fully, all questions answered and not once did I feel worried about anything. The visit after lockdown was completely safe and again I didn't think twice about my safety, I had complete confidence in the practice. I just want to say what an Amazing clinic ! I came here to have a tooth extraction and was very nervous, from the moment I came in the reception staff were warm and friendly and made me feel so at ease and relaxed. I cannot thank Peter and his lovely dental nurse enough for making me feel reassured and relaxed through the whole procedure from consultation stage through to surgery. My tooth extraction was so quick and with no pain, my recovery today is fantastic and I am not sore at all. After losing some faith in my NHS dentist, I was eventually referred to Dr Alex at Colchester Dental Specialist. I attended an initial consultation and was told what was required. After two appointments totalling 3 1/2 hours and some very invasive gum treatment, plus 5 tooth extractions, my teeth feel incredible! Throughout the whole process Alex was extremely reassuring, as well as the dental nurse who was lovely. He gave me lots of tips to maximise good dental health for the future and always ended every appointment, with a note to call if I had any concerns. The whole team at the practice are friendly and very accommodating. I have decided not to return to my NHS dentist, and from now on will pursue my hygienist appointments here too. I would highly recommend Alex and the team.

My recent experience at CDSC has been extremely satisfactory. Unfortunately Covid lock down started early in my treatment causing some delays part way through. Despite this, all treatment resumed at the earliest possible time and the hygiene and distancing rules were executed professionally and safely. TC Patel has given me back my smile. His patience, attention to detail and skill are superb. I am very pleased with the end results. I would also like to mention Antonia, the dental nurse present at all appointments. She was kind and supportive and facilitated a calm and safe environment for me, whilst simultaneously performing her role efficiently in aiding TC.

I had an appointment a few days ago for a complex root canal and I can say honestly from someone who does not like the dentist one bit, I was treated with the up most professionalism and care. From booking my appointments to come back for my treatment the reception staff were very helpful and kept me updated with any changes to my care. During my complex root canal I had Noman for my dentist and Georgina ( George ) for the assisting nurse. Noman and George were a great pair in my treatment as they were patient with me and my needs. Almost every step of my treatment was explain so I knew what was going on. There was an incident that happened and Noman and George responded very quickly and efficiently to prevent any pain occurring. George was maybe the best nurse I’ve had throughout any of my procedures, it was obvious to George that I do not like the dentist and I was made to feel a lot calmer because of the care and compassion that George showed me in my procedure and i don’t think I got to thank her fully! I hope that I do not have to go back to see a dentist any time soon but if I did I would 100% go back to Colchester dental specialist centre. I live a very long distance away and this amazing practice is the only one I would trust to handle my dental needs. I would recommend this practice to anyone who needs a specialist dentist. I have only had hygiene as a self referral at this practice with Rachel. I am a bit of a scaredycat when it comes to any form of dental treatment, especially hygiene but I have to say I would highly recommend Rachel. Very professional, kind, courteous and extremely gentle with me. I will definitely be returning every six months to keep up my oral hygiene. I was referred to Colchester Dental Specialist Centre by my dentist because my impacted wisdom tooth was causing me problems. I had a consultation with Akeel, an oral surgeon there and he was very thorough, taking a scan and explaining what the problem was and what the procedure for removal was. I was really nervous about having the tooth removed and elected to have IV sedation which was great. I don't remember a thing! Akeel, the nurses and the reception staff were all very kind and put me at my ease answering any questions I had. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend CDSC to anyone and would go back to them if I needed to.
