Have used this practice for a few years now but the past 2 times I have seen a different dentist and just come back today from root canal and filling. I was a bag of nerves as usual unfortunately I cannot remember my dentists name but he was so lovely and re-assuring made me feel so at ease as did the dental nurse! Always such lovely people here and always happy with the work! Never go anywhere else! Thank you guys

I went in today for referral for molar extraction, I can't praise Dr Bhandal enough, I was slightly nervous but he was so calm, reassuring and caring he talked me through what was happening as he did the procedure and put me at ease from the first word. Have had several issues with my previous dentist registered at bhandals and got an emergency appointment the same day as my face was swollen gentleman I seen was amazing and gentle not to cause further pain got prescribed antibiotics and booked in for tooth extraction next week. So happy that it is getting sorted after having such a terrible time especially when I am so frightened of dentists. Thank you so much for making my experience a nice one after so many bad.

I cannot praise Dr Dhanjal enough! Whenever I go there he’s always so calm and reassuring. Today at my appointment I was particularly nervous, he took the time to talk to me and get me a drink and made me feel a lot better. The dental nurses in there were also really helpful and understanding. Definitely a 5 star service!

Dr Bhandal extracted a tooth yesterday after me being referred by my own dentist who wasn't confident about doing the work. He got it out in about two minutes flat. He seemed like a nice person too, which immediately put me at ease. The injections hurt a bit, which I was expecting, but the extraction itself was totally pain-free.

My dentist referred me here my appointment was at 8am I had an X-ray and surgical tooth extraction, I was out by 8:15 honestly amazing service all around from reception to the specialists. Dr Bhandal was so quick I was amazed! Definitely recommend! 100/10

I have had a refferal to Bhandal Surgery for an accidental teeth injury leaving only the roots, which left me in infections and pain. Dr Bhandal has done root extraction surgery on me, explaining what he was going to do next, etc as the surgery was done today 29/11/2022, i am still healing, but i would like to thank to him so so much as he have done a fantastic job, even though i was very nervous as i always had my teeth done in my Country with by my family member but i needed an emergency , so than you so much! The only reason for the 4 star is the rush but of course it is understandable, but i would just focus on that in the future a bit more! Overall massive thanks for the Team! :)

Referred by my usual dental surgery to have a problem tooth extracted. The dentist here was very professional and informative - without over complicating the options. I got braces done by Dr. Mathias and I just want to say how incredible he is. Initially my teeth had always been my biggest insecurity and now I can proudly say that it is one of my best features. I got my braces taken off 3 years ago and to this day Dr. Mathias makes sure he sees me every 6 months to ensure my teeth are still straight. Dr. Mathias has the best positive energy making me look forward to my appointments with him. He is extremely helpful, friendly and polite. Getting my braces done was the best thing I have ever done- I get compliments on my teeth every day and I can only thank Dr. Mathias for that. I couldn’t recommend him anymore. I would’ve given 10 stars if I could :)

Ive used this practice for years and Mr Bandal has got me from being put to sleep for any kind of work to just local, However Mr Bandal has taken a step back and on this occasion i have had to see somebody else. Oh my!! my previous anxiety and panic returned and i was a jibbering mess, however the young chap ( ASH ) was extremely patient, compassionate and caring and gave me Big baby numbing cream before injection and my extraction. All done calmly and swiftly and most of all pain free, never once was i made to feel i was being silly, he spoke about what he was going to do the whole time and said if i needed to stop just to say. thankyou for your kindness and patience it really does make a difference to a nervous patient and any further work needed i will be definitely booking in with ASH.

Took my 9yo boy for his check up today. Arrived 15 minutes late due to an incident on the way. Apologised profusely to the receptionist on my arrival and was greeted with a less than friendly response, stating that 'I will have to check if the Dentist will still see you!' I thought nothing more of it as I was late and maybe this had caused this frosty reception. In hindsight, I really don't believe arriving late justifies a rude response and cold manner. I stood with my 9yo at reception and waited. Eventually, the lady returned and the dentist had agreed to see me. The receptionist was still very cold and had zero eye contact as she asked me to complete two forms. I sat down and completed the forms whilst all the time feeling like a naughty school boy who had disrupted the class! I again put the lack of empathy and customer service down to my late arrival and tried to move on. Whilst completing the forms, a young girl arrived with her mother (I guess) and the young girl was obviously in pain and distress. She asked the receptionist if she could see a dentist urgently as she was in terrible pain. I was amazed to see the receptionist display the exact lack of empathy and customer service I had been subjected to. She didn't look at the couple, instead coldly said 'I don't have anything today - are you even registered here?' she responded that she was and begged the receptionist to see anyone. The receptionist was still cold and matter-of-fact when she said, 'earliest appointment is Monday!' to which the girl started to sob. Ultimately, she had zero choice but to leave with an appointment for Monday - in obvious severe pain! This particular receptionist can obviously smile as she had no problems laughing and smiling broadly with her colleagues when they entered the reception area. Why the total change when dealing with YOUR customers? Bhandal, tell me why you would not employ (or train) your reception staff to display the ethos and friendly ethics of your company? These people are the face of your company, they are in charge of the very FIRST impression of your business - often that initial contact is the only lasting memory that will build an opinion! As a customer for many years, this has really affected me. I will be returning very soon, and I hope that conversations / training have been had. As a sidenote. The dental staff are amazing.

I went to bhandal today for my daughter and I have to say that the dentist himself was wonderful. I had phoned in because my daughter had an emergency and so I got seen the same day. The only reason I am giving this place a three star is because the receptionists were extremely rude. They treated me with absolutely no respect. I asked one receptionist if she was able to help (because there was a really long queue) and she glared back at me saying that she was busy. The other receptionist that did help was rude as well. I understand that people have bad days but this to me was just unacceptable.

I wouldn’t normally write a review of an organisation on here but I needed to convey how impressed I was with Bhandals Dentil Practice. I hadn’t been to the dentist for over a decade due to having a bad experience at another dental practice years ago. I know it sounds silly but it got to the stage where I was worried about returning to any dentist in the future. Then I got really bad toothache, my teeth and gums had been hurting for a long time but it was a pain I could deal with. This toothache though was unbearable. I needed to go to a dentist ASAP. I tried a number of dentists near to my house but I could not get an appointment anywhere. I phoned the NHS and they told me to try to get an appointment at Bhandals. I booked myself in and this is when I was introduced to Ari and his team. They immediately put my mind at ease. They were excellent. The service and care from them is second to none. I have had to have a tooth removed, root canal treatment and a couple of fillings (I did say previously I hadn’t been to a dentist for a long time). All of this work was done with no pain, the minimal of fuss and at a very reasonable rate of pay, by an excellent team of friendly professionals. I now don’t mind going to the dentist. I cannot recommend this place enough. The receptionists are friendly and helpful and Ari and his team are excellent. I just felt I had to post this review just in case anybody else was in the same predicament as me a couple of months ago.

I rang the practice at 8am this morning as I had been having horrendous toothache since yesterday. The earliest appointment they had was for Wednesday. (I am not a current patient of theirs). I explained my face was swollen up to my eyebrow and I had not slept the previous night. The receptionist said she would get the dentist to ring me between appointments. It is never a nice experience to have teeth removed. Having never used this dental practice before, I had my concerns; especially having had the same dental surgeon for about 30 years! I was more than pleasantly surprised! They were fantastic; polite, professional, and made me feel so welcome and calm, that I was beginning to wonder if I was at a dental surgery. My surgeon, A.S.Bhandal, was so polite and calming, reassuring me all the time.... Incredible! I have to return to this surgery in the near future to have 3 further teeth removed, and as much as I am not looking forward to this, I know that I will be in good hands. Just been here for the first time for an extraction (had to be seen by a specialist as my root was curved meaning it could possibly need to be surgically removed). I was seen by Dr Amrik Bhandal who made me feel comfortable from the minute I entered the room. I am absolutely terrified of dentists. Last Friday I had a terrible experience to have an extraction somewhere else. Today I went to Mr Bhandal and I must say that he is the best dentist ever! Not only him and his staff were caring and extremely professional but also the way he explained things to me and how comfortable he made me feel was amazing. Top dentist. Couldn't thanks them enough. After suffering few days with swollen face and horrible pains, I contacted them and even tho I haven't had appointment and wasn't any available , the doctor called me within 20 minutes after talking to the nice and polite receptionist, took his time to listen and adviced me and also had a prescription ready for me to collect straight away without to charge me anything. However the procedure was so quick and painless that I highly commend this surgery to everybody, especially if you are nervous about dentist visits. The extraction was done by Dr A.S Bhandal. Went for a wisdom tooth extraction this morning with Mr A Bhandal. He ensured I had plenty of local anaesthetic before removing my tooth, which literally took him less than a minute to do. Never felt anything except a bit of pulling. This is the 2nd time he has removed one of my back teeth, so I knew I was in safe hands.

I went this morning for an extraction. I am extremely nervous and had a bad experience when I was younger. Right from the booking of the appointment they made me feel comfortable and eased my nerves, explaining what was going to happen. When I arrived I went straight through. Mr Bhandal put me at ease and explained to me what he was going to do. After the injection I waited 5 mins for it to take effect and then before I new It the tooth was out! I couldn't believe how quick and pain free it was. Absolutely brilliant! Thank you so much to Mr Bhandal and your lovely team. You really dont know how much it ment to have that care and consideration you gave. I would 100% recommended you and your team.

I went for an emergency tooth extraction on Wednesday and Pav and his dental nurse were welcoming and friendly, they were attentive and I even advised I don't like needles so they made sure not to show it to me by telling me to close my eyes. I cannot recommend this practice enough. I had an emergency appointment at 7am on a Sunday morning to have a tooth extracted, all members of staff were very attentive and made sure I was calm and understood what could happen due to it being a rare case. Ever since this appointment, I have cancelled my private appointments at my previous practice and use Bhandal for all of my dental appointments. Some of the doctors are amazing. Dr Amrik Bhandal saved my tooth when everyone else said it had to be removed. However they are busy people (understandably) and appointments can feel rushed so make sure to ask whatever you need. It would be 5 stars if I didn't feel rushed.

Yesterday a visit to my Dentist for an extraction didn't go well!.... Emergency referral to Mr A.S. Bhandal for 7.45am this morning. This is the 1st time I have visited Bhandal Practice. The experience was night and day in comparison to the day before. Mr. Bhandal was the consummate professional. He was extremely polite caring totally confident in his own ability and filled me with confidence too. He explained every step of the procedure and had my tooth out within minutes. 🙏 I have never had worries about going to the dentist ever! Yesterday's experience unnerved me somewhat!!. My first time to Bhandal Dental Practice, went as a referral to have a tooth removed by A.S.Bhandal, he first made me feel welcome then took me to have it x-rayed, explained what he was going to do then numbed me up, waited 10 minutes to make sure I couldn't feel anything and very swiftly had my tooth out, which he gave back to me in little bag then took time to explain the aftercare required, like biting on the gauze I was supplied with several pieces and a leaflet for aftercare. I was very impressed with a smooth professional treatment of all aspects of my care.

After neglecting a crumbling tooth for a few years it finally became infected and was causing me severe pain. I called in on the off chance on Thursday pm to book an appointment and was seen within 15 minutes. I had x-rays taken on a state of the art machine and was assessed. Due to the poor state of my tooth I had to be referred to Dr Amrik Bhandal and was given a course of antibiotics. I had only just got in the house when reception called to book me in on the Sunday at 8:50am. As the pain got worse and I could not sleep I called Friday morning at 8:30am to see if the appoint could be brought forward. The tooth was out before 9:30am. Front of house teams are so ignorant and rude!! The dental team them selves are great. It takes me a lot to go to a dentist as i have a phobia of them. I have been in pain for some weeks. I have called and tried to get an appointment which takes a lot for me. I went for an extraction on the 23rd of September. Was given an assessment and my injections for the extratction but told it would be refered to the specalist. The team advised due to me being 10 minutes late they are unable to complete the treatmentr as they go at 1400. I was ontime but was left outside in the rain while they checked there booking. I have called twice to see when this will need booking in as I am a keyworker and need advance notice to release me from my duties. On both occasions all the staff are interested about is collecting £22.00. Before I was escorted out of the building I asked the dentist, is there anything that I need to settle. They said NO. Once this tooth has been extracted I will be looking for an alternative practise. You really need to sort your front of house out, ignorance and rude staff will cost you money!

So I suffer with day to day anxiety, it amplifies when out of my comfort zone. I was a nervous wreck on the Wednesday I visited for a complex tooth extraction, Parmjeet Bhandal dealt me with and ensured me everything was going to be fine and to come back on Friday morning with a little more hope. I returned on Friday, still terrified, Parmjeet greeted me so normally like we had been friends for years, this helped me. After a small episode from me due to nerves, Mr Bhandal helped me with some breathing exercises before the procedure and kept my informed of everything along the journey. My front tooth was damaged years ago by trauma. The tooth had died off, became infected, and had also infected the tooth beside it. Because of this, I was experiencing very severe pain and was having trouble eating. I phoned the practice and they booked me in for the following day. I saw Dr. Harsharn Mudhar and he informed me that I needed a root canal on both teeth. I was very anxious, as I'd heard from multiple people how painful a root canal treatment could be. Dr. Mudhar put me at ease and explained the whole process to me. The root canals were carried out with almost no pain - no worse than getting a filling! He showed me the X-rays from before and after, and explained what was done. He also gave me antibiotics to deal with the residual infection. I cannot thank him and his team enough!

11.30am this morning half of an old previously filled tooth cracked off (not formerly filled by Bhandals). Luckily no pain, but a worry being exposed with a weekend coming up. I contacted my normal dentist and was told 10 February, some 17 days away. After my insistence I was given Bhandals as a possibility to get emergency treatment. By 11.45am I had an appointment for 12.30pm. It was busy and parking is at a premium, but staff were friendly and efficient. Incredibly, by 1pm I was back out, teeth examined, cleaned and side of tooth refilled. Really, really impressed. I will be back and would recommend this practice.

From the moment I walked into this surgery I was warmly welcomed by the reception staff. Appointment made I was booked to see dentist Manoj. He was so calming and reassuring that I wondered why I had put it off for so long. Manoj booked me in for treatment and on arrival for work to be done I was again made to feel very relaxed and the work was carried out with great care. I am the worst patient when it comes to dentists and needed a wisdom tooth taking out for over a year. I finally plucked up courage and half heartedly called Bhandals (foleshill). The lady that booked me in was really sympathetic and reassuring. She booked me in first thing the following morning (Wednesday) so I didn’t have time to worry. I had a very positive experience here. Appointment was at 10:35, and I was seen at 10:35. I was freeteg by the doctor and we spoke about this issue. My tooth was broken already, so getting it out was s huge challenge. He explained to me well about the fact that the tooth can break more which would lead to a surgery at a later date. Regardless, he said it's 50/50. I took the chance and he took the tooth out in just few minutes! Keep in mind, I went in very angry due to lack of sleep for 2 nights and was well greeted. **TERRIFIED of the dentist**, pain, infections, swelling and total avoidance of the tooth part and root that had been left in by another local dentist, I finally, after being referred 3 times, plucked up the courage to go today to the Bhandal Dental Practice in Foleshill Road, I had backed out every time at the last minute after 2 years of avoiding having this broken tooth/root removed. I told them about how scared I was and they were so helpful, and so my appointment was with Mr Bhandal himself, from the minute I walked in, he was polite, calm and so reassuring! He was so gentle and talked me through the whole process even though my whole body was shaking, he was amazing, I walked in that room at 8am and literally by 8.16am I was walking out!! It wasn't a straight forward removal either, he had to cut the gum to get the root and remaining tooth out along with a stitch. So I honestly felt a tiny sting from the needle, then nothing, just a pushing sensation, but even that was gentle, he used a drill item as it was noisy, but again felt nothing, obviously I was terrified throughout, but, for those who are scared, I can honestly say, it was the BEST EVER dental experience I have ever been to, and tbh I have spent 35 years having to be sedated every time due to fear, so if I can do this, you can, it was simply amazing, I'm sitting here a few hours later and my mouth is now a little sore, but I'm sure it will heal quickly. So my advice is don't suffer for years like I did, just book Mr Bhandal and get sorted, he is amazing. Thank you.

After some horrific dental experiences as a young child (Ribena what else), I was only tempted back to a dentists chair by family friend David Lewin when he took over the Foleshill Rd Surgery. I still recall his complaint that I cost him a fortune in anaesthetic, to which I have a natural resistance, something my childhood dentists would not accept. Now in my 70's I have few, if any, of my original teeth left. In the early days of implantology visits to Oxford Circus, Warsaw & Budapest saw the replacement of all my top teeth. So good were these shiny new 'gnashers', as confirmed by Amrik when he showed them off to his dental students, that it was only a matter of time before they literally destroyed the lower set, gold crowns & all. Fortunately for me Amrik had by then engaged Dr. Chetan Mathias who has been replacing the lower set with implants (Covid permitting) & new teeth capable of withstanding the impact of those shiny monsters bearing down on them. Sadly nothing lasts forever & after a three hour consultation of yesterday it is now confirmed that I have irrevocably broken the top bridge. The only consolation being that Chetan & Puneeta will be doing the repair work. With over 60 yrs of dental experience I can write two things with some authority: 1) Keep your kids away from the sweet drinks etc that will not only rot their teeth & cause considerably discomfort, but also put a hole in your pocket; 2) You will be hard pushed to find more caring, more professional dentists than the likes of Amrik, Chetan & Puneeta to whom I offer my grateful thanks for years of quality care.

After being quoted a two week wait by my local dentist to have a cracked tooth and suspected abscess looked at i gave Bhandals a call first thing this morning. appointment was made with no issue on the same day at 5pm , i arrived early, filled out the relevant forms, was seen very swiftly and by 5:14 was on my way, excruciating pain and irritation gone. It was the Covid19 lockdown... The date was June 2nd 2020 and although I hate dentists (due to past experiences at other dentists)... I needed to see a dentist urgently ; I had a huge abscess in my gum (my right side of my face and neck was quite awollen) I was given, the 3 lots of antibiotics from a local dentist, which helped temporarily, but I was in so much pain, that I couldn't eat or sleep and I was referred to Bhandal Dentist Practice, to get emergency treatment. I am petrified of dentists and concerned about Coronavirus, but ALL the staff, at Bhandals, were wearing PPE and were friendly, kind and put me at ease. I was given an xray and my gum was numbed and amazingly, I didn't feel the needles. The Dentist talked me through everything, he was doing. He was gentle and I didn't feel any pain or discomfort, when he pulled the tooth out. I knew, the gum would be sore, once the numbing had worn off, but honestly, the soreness was minimal and a couple of ibuprofen, was enough pain killer. I've had teeth pulled out before, by other dentists and I've always suffered with a dry socket, which is extremely painful, so I spoke to the Dentist at Bhandals, about my fear of suffering with a dry socket, but thankfully, I didn't get a dry socket and my gum has healed. It was the tooth and the whole tooth that was extracted... I knew this, because the Dentist, gave me my pulled tooth ; I have never been given, my pulled tooth before at previous dentists and I'm glad I was given it, as I could see, that nothing had been left behind in my gum. My visit to Bhandal Dental Practice was as good as I could have wished under the circumstances. I was treated by Pom, assisted by Irina and Hannah when suffering with a chronic toothache. The full treatment and options were explained thoroughly and following a course of antibiotics I opted to have the offending tooth removed. Considering my apprehension to the procedure I felt a little silly afterwards considering the professional yet delicate manner in which the extraction was conducted. Again a full explanation was given prior to the procedure, and it was carried out in a quick, efficient and painless way once the antisetic had been administered. I will require further treatment within 3 months and am no longer apprehensive about returning to have treatment here.

I had a ‘funny growing’ wisdom tooth removed. The actual extraction was completely painless, I didn’t even feel the injections that numbed my mouth! And it only took 20mins! After the anaesthetic had worn off it was slightly sore, but nothing unbearable. I was eating and drinking the next day, the most uncomfortable part was trying to sleep. Saw Dr Pom for my 5 yr old who woke up crying with a flap of gum growing over her 1st Molar. She was really upset. The receptionist Sabrina was amazing. She spoke to the Dentist and got us in at 10am on the same day. On Saturday when a new veneer that was fitted smashed to pieces I wouldn't have been happy at all, especially as I pay for treatment. But I phoned this morning and told the surgery what happened and how upset I was losing my front tooth again as a teacher and the embarrassment it would cause once again. I was in to see the top guy at 3pm and they have in two hours made a crown on their really amazing computerised machine. I will leave with a crown, which is much tougher than a veneer for no extra cost to myself. That's customer service when the dentist says, tht they must find out why the problem happened and find resolution tht suits all. Thankyou to all at Bhandals. Great learning curve on new technology today and Bhandals are the first to have this type of machine in Coventry. This shows how up to date they are. 😆 smiling again when I thought it would be weeks again👍
