Dr Arshad and his team are fantastic I went after lock down my previous dentist retired and was recommended Dr Arshad I needed crowns and an implant all done painlessly and beautifully I always hid my smile now I beam and am proud of my lovely teeth!! I couldn’t have asked for better care or outcome the experience has certainly taken away any fear I had before of dentist visits. I would definitely recommend this practice 🙏

After a bad experience with another Dental Practice a few years ago I was nervous about needing a second filling. Dr Arshad and his assistant (apologies I didn't ask your name) explained everything they needed to do step-by-step and did everything they could to make me feel comfortable. A completely different experience to my previous practice and absolutely minimal discomfort, a day later I forgot I'd even had a filling. I couldn't be happier with the result, thank you both!

I have been going to this practice for a few years now and would never consider anywhere else. All the staff here are so friendly, caring and attentive. With Dr Arshad Mahmood I know I'm always getting the best treatment and care. If you're anxious he is really understanding, patient and explains everything he is doing. Dr Arshad has just replaced my veneers and they look amazing!! I had my previous veneers for nearly 20 years, for several reasons it was time for new ones. Dr Arshad removed them, thoroughly treated and prepared my teeth, and ensured the new veneers were perfect for me. Thank you so much for my new smile :-)

One of my cheapest dentists visit in a while. I was amazed a how quickly I was able to get my first appointment for a check up. After arriving and filling in the patient form, I waited less than 5 minutes to be seen by the dentist. He was very professional and found there were no issues with my teeth. He recommended a hygienist appointment which I agree with as my last one was a couple of years back. i was able to get a hygienist appointment on the spot and it took less than 20 minutes to get my teeth sparkling. The assisting nurse and receptionists were very kind and polite. Overall great dental surgery, experienced and professional staff that make you feel at ease. Excellent value for money.

I came to Spencer Road Dental Surgery quite by accident, I had spent several years abroad and had neglected my teeth somewhat at that time. To be honest, I was dreading facing up to going because I knew several teeth were beyond repair, but in my late 60's and knowing how teeth can affect health, I decided to do something about it and went to Visit Ashad for evaluation. He made a plan and explained how he could save my remaining teeth, and replace those that needed extraction with implants. It is not an exaggeration to say that he transformed my dental health totally, as he methodically carried out the plan he had prepared. The remaining teeth have been repaired and strengthened, and the new implants blend in perfectly. I have the highest regard for his judgment and ability. Due to his skill, there was no pain involved in what he did, and at each stage he progressed according to the plan, so my fears of the past were banished completely. The staff also were really kind and caring, so five stars for Spencer Road Dental Surgery!

There is a very calm atmosphere at Spencer Road. All of the staff are happy to help and explain everything they are doing as they go. It was my first time meeting Dr. Mahmood, he was very friendly and reassuring. I would recommend this surgery as I always have a positive experience.

The visit to the hygienist was as pleasant as these things can be. She was thorough and explained well at each stage. 5 stars there. The dental consultation took 5 minutes, was very superficial and was charged for 15 minutes. Not impressed. I have booked one further appointment for a check-up in 6 months and will see how I get on then.

I am scared of going to the Dentist and having fillings in particular, however Dr Arshad explained everything to me as we went along which helped to calm my fears. I was even given a cream to numb my gums before the injection so it wasn't as bad as I anticipated. I would highly recommend them. I know I will still be anxious when I go again in 6 months but also feel reassured that they are aware of this and tailor my care accordingly. Caroline

The dental surgery is currently undergoing refurbishment , but this did not affect in any way the professionalism of the staff and the dental service I received which was excellent. 3rd June 2019 Just prior to a business trip to Luxembourg I developed .tooth ache. I called in to the surgery in Spencer REoad. and was seen without an appointment . Excellent service and great help. Peter Mitchell OBE. 3 September I had tooth ache yesterday rang the surgery at 3.30 pm in the afternoon and was in the dentists chair by 4.30 pm It was a difficult task but the dental surgeon undertook the first stage of a root canal repair on a wisdom tooth. The pain has gone and I will return in 7 days to have the work completed. Again an excellent and very professional service. At 84 years old ones health is important. Peter Mitchell. OBE.
