P. F.Best dentist I've ever had, and I had many before Mr Barbour was recommended to me. He's been our dentist for the whole family for pushing 20 years since then. When my son was young he had an over-developed gag reflex, which made dentists particularly tricky for him, but Ian took the time and care necessary to treat him, and trips to the dentist ceased to be traumatic. Over the years I have had an unfair share of dental problems myself, but I have always been very happy with the advice and options I have been given, the treatment received, and the outcome.
The practice regularly invests in the latest equipment and technology, so you know you are getting the benefit in the latest developments in dentistry.
They may not be the cheapest, but they are certainly the best. Thoroughly recommended.

M.I was a previous patient at Barbours but moved further away (always had a fear of dentist although Ian was fantastic so I was worried leaving), anyway I hated my new dentist who will remain annonomious therefore I avoided returning and left it for a few years and I decided to return to Barbours as they always made me feel comfortable and despite the extra few miles it was SO worth it!! I met Jan and his cool assistant (although her only vice is being a Bon Jovi fan I could forgive it). First session they both put me completely at ease, (me on the dentist chair😎) now after several visits as I wanted more treatment (me wanting more done that in itself is a miracle!) I no longer have the shaky leg moments instead I would recommend this practice to everyone, as they are client focuses, professional in their approach while keeping humour at the forefront,,,,actually and his assistant could have their own slot at the Edinburgh Festival!!!!
