I have recently finished my Invisalign treatment with Chris- a treatment process that has been easy and left me with a much better smile that what I started with! Christopher is lovely and is the only dentist that has ever made me feel comfortable, listened to and has provided affordable and realistic solutions to my teeth insecurities! I am delighted to have found Chris and become one of his patients. At my first appointment, I was very concerned about my dental health - more than 50 years of poor dentistry had left me with many unsustainable fillings and anxiety that I would begin to lose teeth. Chris worked out a treatment plan which has left me feeling confident for the first time in many years. The treatment was carried out carefully and thoughtfully - Chris cares about his craft. I strongly recommend him as a dentist. The end result was worth every penny that I spent.

I had two procedures done with Chris at the practice in Edinburgh. I travelled from London to receive the procedures as I felt more confident going back to my family dentist. The practice conducts an extremely professional service with very friendly staff who ensure at all points your are comfortable. I had a two hour procedure that seemed to pass in what felt like 30 minutes. I had two front teeth fixed after a bad fall and you would never be able to tell they have been fixed. I was missing around 1/3 of each of the teeth but the back of the tooth was missing a little more. The filling feels very sturdy and secure, the teeth look perfect (perhaps even better than before) and the colour matches my teeth without any indication that they have been filled. The practice is also extremely beautiful inside sitting within an Edinburgh town house. Overall 5/5, and for me personally it was certainly worth the journey.

Absolutely amazing experience. Dr Sale is just the best dentist. I had my wisdom teeth removed recently at his practice and I cannot imagine having any other dentist taking care of me as well as Dr Sale did. He is very patient, professional and just excellent at his work. Also his team, very welcoming, kind and friendly. I am really glad I found this practice. I cannot recommend this dental practice highly enough. Visiting is such a relaxing and welcoming experience from the minute you cross the threshold in to the most amazing waiting room. It feels like you have been invited in to the family to visit! A genuine pleasure. The full team are very professional and so caring. They will do all they can for you. They have gone well above and beyond the call for my dental health and provided first class care and attention. Dr Sale has a depth of specialist skills and attention to detail that always impresses me. I am happy to travel a 3 hour round trip to access the wonderful treatment on offer here. If looking for a Dentist of very high standard I encourage you to seek out this practice.

Absolutely amazing practise and dental work by Christopher. Called in Aug 2020, during COVID, to have an emergency wisdom tooth extraction. Over a dozen practices wouldn’t see me, but the entire practice, starting from the folks on the phone (Maddy), were accommodating and got me in within a few days for an extraction. Proper hygiene and such at the clinic, and the procedure itself was quick, painless, and Christopher and his team were very friendly, talked me through procedure and aftercare, and were just awesome. Best dentist I’ve ever seen in 33 years, highly recommended! 🦷

Excellent treatment and service for my 8 year old son from Dr Sale who came highly recommended and I cannot thank him and his team enough. During covid-19 lockdown my son required orthodontic treatment yet no one was willing to take on new patients only existing.... Dr Sale provided exceptional service and helped overcome my sons issue with his bite which was out of alignment using his Invisalign treatment. In just 4 weeks my sons tooth was realigned back into its correct positioning enabling much more comfort in basics such as eating and talking! Chris has been my dentist for a number of years. I have several dental complications which he has managed extremely well and is always pro-active in suggesting new treatments that I should consider to improve my situation. In short he is an excellent dentist. I am writing this review today as I had a dental emergency on a Saturday and Chris's response was exemplary. He returned my call, promptly and came into town and spent two hours patiently working out and then treating my problem. A huge relief as I was in considerable pain. Outstanding service, very much appreciated. I have no hesitation in highly recommending him.

The practice provided me with a much lower quote for Invisalign treatment than other Edinburgh practices and now having experienced the service I’m sure its quality was better than what’s on offer elsewhere too. Chris takes the time to explain why you should treat your teeth how he suggests, which I think helped a lot in motivating me to stick to the treatment plan. I have been 'saved' twice by the Chris and his lovely team. Both times were emergencies and even though I was a new patient, I was seen quickly and treated with empathetic warmth by everyone at the practice. Despite having quite a phobia of dental work (due to past experiences), I can now say I'm losing the fear. Chris makes a point of calmly explaining what he is doing and why, and at no time did I feel rushed or stressed in any way. In terms of the quality of the treatment, I feel very confident. I'm also grateful for Chris's artistic nature as he always seems happy to spend a little extra time to get things really right (at no extra charge!) I never thought I'd say I enjoy an experience at the dentist, but what with the welcoming family atmosphere and the stunning building (especially the waiting room, be sure to go early for your appointment to really enjoy it) - I can almost say I'm looking foward to my next check up 😉

I cannot tell the difference between my real teeth and the bit of filling added on. Christopher Sale did such a fine job. This practise was recommended to me by some friends after my previous dentist recommended a treatment plan which I was unhappy with. On arrival I was welcomed by a friendly face and shown to a wonderfully decorated waiting room. The homely feel of the waiting room allowed me to relax and it was also refreshing not to be surrounded by adverts for the latest dental treatment while I waited. Dr Sale came to the waiting room to introduce himself and escorted me to the surgery (this makes a change from having your name screamed out and told your next). The surgery itself felt quite relaxing, and although it contained all the usual fixtures you would expect from a dental surgery it didn't seem as surgical. I particularly liked the hot air balloon fixture hanging from the ceiling. Once in the chair Dr Sale took the time to chat through the treatment plan my previous dentist had recommended and after he completed his examination spent a lot of time explaining his assessment. This was what impressed me most, as it was clear Dr Sale has a wealth of experience, and also the knack for explaining things in such a way a degree in dentistry is not required. The time Dr Sale took to explain his recommendation left me in no doubt that his assessment was right for me. I'm not normally one for writing reviews but the service and care provided at this dental practice was first class, and for the first time in my life I wont be viewing an upcoming dental appointment with dread.

After a rather traumatic fall and managing to successfully kill my tooth I went to Chis Sale to see if he would be able to help me. He immediately took an x-ray to analyse the situation and gave me the news that my tooth was dead. Chris explained that I would need a tooth implant. He explained the procedure and wrote a full description for what the current situation was for my home dentist. I decided to go ahead with the implant surgery and so work began mid January. As of the beginning ofJune the whole procedure was complete and I had a wonderful new tooth! Friends and family who knew about the situation said they couldn't ever tell that this new tooth was not real! Chris always made me feel at ease and so a trip to the dentist was not an unpleasant experience as I had experienced with other dentists in the past. All the staff were extremely welcoming and I was always greeted with a smile. I would have absolutely no trouble recommending Chris's dentistry services to anyone as my experience was first class. Very efficient, caring team. If you are looking for the probably highest standards in dentistry in Edinburgh, don't hesitate. I have an extreme, let's call it "dentist phobia" since many years and was being made to feel very comfortable and SAVE. The receptionists, assistants.....everybody is very nice, kind and the whole place has an interior aimed at making you feel at home. During the only 80 seconds of pain I focused on the interesting painting on the ceiling above me and before I knew it my tooth was completely numb. No pain AT ALL acterwards. Dr Sale talks you trough every step of the way and explains everything. Could not rate highly enough...please trust me, if I can go trough a treatment there, you can most certainly too!!!
