Got a really thorough and painless dental cleaning here for £75. I won't go anywhere else for my dental cleanings anymore. Absolutely wonderful and lovely staff and spotless premises.

Having completed implant dental surgery recently, I am absolutely delighted! ! Dr Axel Drews, the principal dentist and owner of GUMS and TEETH achieved a brilliant result. Right from the start, discussing and outlining various options, detailing pros and cons for each option, to performing highly skilled procedures, including sinus lift and bone grafting, he guided me through the process, being always meticulous and highly professional, striving for and tolerating only top quality outcome. His attention to detail was second to none. He uses only implants from Strauman or Astra, two of the top five dental implants globally, and bone grafts from Switzerland. Consequently his practice owns and uses only state-of-the-art -mostly German- equipment and technology putting quality over quantity. Quite importantly he was available on weekends, public holidays and during some of the lockdown periods never tired to go the extra mile with reassurance, assistance and support as much as anyone could wish. It was a pleasure to meet him, his staff, colleagues, hygienists, dental nurses and receptionists who always treated me courteously and professionally. I am really pleased to be able to chew and smile with confidence again! If you need dental treatment, I can only very highly recommend Gums and Teeth!

I had my first appointment there with the hygienist (Sandra). She was very friendly and I liked how she kept explaining what she was doing to clean my teeth at different steps. I felt that my teeth were throughly and carefully cleaned by her. I would recommend getting your teeth cleaned here as the staff do a good job and are very friendly.

I required an implant on a front tooth and the treatment plan and explanations around it were very comprehensively explained. At every step of the way the work was honestly assessed by my dentist and I felt that I could trust every decision that was made. I had Invisalign treatment to straighten my teeth, close a gap in my front two teeth and correct a cross bite. It was a long process due to the work needed but Axel was fantastic from my initial consultation to the end result! He took as much time as I needed to discuss what I wanted and all my options, and throughout the treatment always gave me the correct advice for the next steps. I would recommend going for the full Invisalign treatment as it allows you to have as many refinements you need to finetune your end result. I couldn’t be happier with my new smile!

The anxious patient. I came to Axel complaining of a sensitive tooth and jaw pain. I was petrified when Axel explained my recommended treatment plan – Botox in my jaw muscles to ease the bruxism pain, the removal of all four over erupted-wisdom teeth, and then (Invisalign) braces to correct the shifting caused by bruxism. However, I knew I was in very good hands, as I felt safe right from the get go. The whole treatment plan has been a breeze, the injections did not hurt, the tooth removal was surprisingly A-OK and pain free, and a year later I no longer have tooth sensitivity or daylong headaches…but I do have a beautiful smile! Axel is my favourite dentist of all time and the entire team makes you feel at ease. If you too are anxious and scared, look no further and book yourself in!

5.0 /5 Had a scale and polish; I’ll talk about this in two parts. Firstly, the process. It was very comfortable-almost a peaceful experience (who describes a dentist visit that way!!?). There was a simple painless procedure to make sure that no bits were missed during the process. Warm water for cleaning made sure there were no jumpy moments with overly sensitive teeth. I could go on, as it was all explained to me-I won’t bore you with any more details.. Secondly, I met a total of three people during the hygienist visit, and these encounters were not fake, in that it didn’t look as though they were being nice because they were trying to promote their business. I had such a great overall experience and I believe that whoever patronises this service will leave completely satisfied.
