Best orthodontic treatment I've had in 15 years, wish I'd found them sooner. Fantastic team, beautiful practice, and absolutely spotless. Had my first consultation on the 21st Nov, retainers fitted today. Dr Aljubouri is brilliant, and a big thanks to the girl that done my impressions for my Essix; really gentle compared to my previous two impressions done elsewhere. Oh, and they use vanilla flavoured putty/plaster impression stuff! Not really important but was a lovely change from the disgusting stuff that most other practices use. Can't thank you all enough.

I arrived as an exchange student in Glasgow. In the first couple of days I encountered a problem with my lower front teeth which required immediate attention. Giddnock orthondontic centre was able to instantly assist and showed great proficiency in doing so. I had great experience and would definetly recommend it!

Before choosing Giffnock Orthodontic Centre, I had been to 5 different orthodontic consultations for quotes. The price was quite good at Giffnock Orthodontic Centre but to be honest, it was not far off what I had already been given by other orthodontics. The thing that convinced me to choose them was purely how friendly and lovely the staff were. I felt really welcomed from day one and I could tell they were all very professional. I want to share my opinion about this centre as they are fantastic! I had tried many orthodontists in my life before I started the treatment at GOC, but their ideas didn't work for me. Also, they had tried to convince me to the very expensive treatment, and they didn't offer me an NHS refund. I was very desperate, and I finally found Dr Yas, who made things easy. He'd offered me NHS refund treatment and a simple solution for my terrible bite. I've worn a brace for 1.5 years, and now I have beautiful teeth and straight bite. Yaz and the team are incredible. Had braces in 2018 as an adult and they were all very accommodating. They always discuss your options with what work needs done and won’t just tell you that you need the most expensive treatment. A very good experience with them, very nice and helpful staff, especially Yas, i never had any issues with them. 2 of my children have had their braces done at Giffnock Orthodontic by Dr Yas, one is still in treatment. Dr Yas is extremely professional and knowledgeable and does an excellent job. I've have used both local Giffnock/Thornliebank orthodontists for each of my daughters and Giffnock Orthodontic Centre is by far the better. The treatment my daughter has received has been 1st class. Yas genuinely cares about his patient's experiences, views and the end result. I'm getting braces after Invisalign braces weren't appropriate for me from other dentist. Surgery is very neat and well organised. The dentist, Yas, was extremely thorough in explaining everything to me. Staff altogether were incredible and are the reason I'm putting this review. I'll update further once everything is done.

I went to this orthodontist in October 2019 for a consultation then November 2019 to have my braces fitted. The staff could not have been more helpful throughout the whole experience. They were so forthcoming with information and were more than happy to answer these and explain everything in detail, I felt so at ease. I returned in February to have my braces tightened for the first time and due to lockdown returned today for my second tightening. Both appointments were great with Yas being really helpful in explaining the next steps and expectations. I’ve had my braces on for 8 months and I can not believe the difference in my teeth, they have completely been transformed I am so happy! Can’t recommend this place enough.

I visited this clinic in regards to my mother who suffers with severe gum disease in the hope something could be done about her condition. Even though no treatment was possible, Dr Yas was brilliant and very professional in explaining why he wasn't able to carry out treatment and explained he is not a gum specialist as her condition is related to her gums. He however did go out of his way to hook me up with a gum specialist and recommended me a few other places that would be able to help my mum which was very helpful. I can not recommend this place enough. Don't take into consideration the bad reviews that have been left by people, they don't represent the doctor or the practice at all! 😊😊😊😊

My son was referred to Yas at Giffnock Orthodonist approx. 18 months ago. My son had overcrowding as well as an overbite and his teeth were literally all over the place. Yas was extremely clear when explaining the proposed treatment plan to us and explained that it would take between 18 and 24 months to achieve the results he wanted. Yas gave careful consideration to extractions, as recommended by the dentist, and decided not to remove any teeth. My son continued to be seen during the pandemic for adjustment to his braces, with the surgery having very strict safety measures in place. Today, his braces were removed. His teeth are unrecognisable from what they looked like 18 months ago. My son now has a perfect smile. He is absolutely delighted as am I. The staff are all very friendly and professional. Yas himself is a complete perfectionist. I would highly recommend Giffnock Orthodontic Centre to anyone.

After going to several different Orthodontists in Glasgow for consultations, I came across Giffnock Orthodontic Centre and Yas. Yas is a master at moving teeth and can literally do anything to improve a smile. 2 years on and i've finished my Invisalign treatment and can't believe the difference. To anyone unsure of getting treatment here I would say go now and see for yourself.
