t. m.I have had a fantastic experience with Hannah, her dental nurse and the all the receptionists at this practice so far and am shocked at some of the negative comments that have been left on Google. Having sat and listened to the way the receptionists have been spoken to by some people over the years I am amazed at their patience. Dentists are not there to cater to your every whim especially while mopping up the orthodontic mess Covid lockdowns have left in their wake and receptionists are not there to be shouted at because you feel you are not given appointments at your ‘preferred time’ because no appointments are available. If you are not an entitled brat I cannot recommend this dental practice more highly - if you are I am in no doubt that their many appreciative patients that have to listen to you and your griping would respectfully suggest you find an alternative practice
T.I deleted my previous 1 star review as I don't like leaving negative reviews. I have thought a bit more about my experiences with Orchard Park Dental Practice and have to say I was happy going for check ups for 3 or 4 years. During that time I did not need any treatment. The dentists were friendly and I trusted them.
I left the dental practice when I needed root canal treatment and had an infection causing me severe pain. My experience was similar to previous reviewers. I went back to my previous dentist in Shawlands where it is quicker to get an appointment. The root canal treatment was completed successfully and they did not try to talk me into an extraction. If I had stayed at Orchard Park Dental Practice I think I would not have my tooth now. I find it difficult to understand why the dentist at Orchard Park Dental Practice wanted to take my tooth out when it was not necessary. I think she was too busy to want to treat my tooth.
I am glad I left the practice but I do think things will improve once they catch up with all the missed check ups due to covid.

*Note. these guys are NOT butchers. If you don't want your child to have a standard free NHS filing (i.e. Mercury, silver, tin, and copper) then go private and pay for a composite filing. Your choice!
