Although the practice is on the top floor there was a lift, although I took the stairs. Reception were efficient and polite with very little waiting. The waiting area was comfortable and clean. My appointment was on time. The dentist and dental nurse were professional, welcoming and reassuring. My treatment was very good and I was impressed with the dentist giving me a clear explanation of what he was doing and what it meant. Overall very pleased indeed.

It is easy to get to especially by bus as it is next to the bus station. You have to go upstairs but there is a lift if required. The reception is well run with efficient staff always available. My dentist is cheerful, very professional and considerate and assisted by able and pleasant nurses. The premises is cleaned to covid standards. I am very pleased with everything and have no intention of changing and give a deserved maximum rating .

I have been with Genix for a few years now and I have to say that they have always been very helpful and friendly. The dentist service they provide is reliable and always top quality as standard. Booking appointments is simple wether it be face to face or over the phone they are always quick to let you know the best available times and when you have decided you get a confirmation text to let you know it is booked. Also i like the fact they text you a reminder 24 hours before your appointment so you never forget. All in all good dentist.

I am the most nervous patient ever, I’ve had a phobia of the dentist for over ten years resulting in me neglecting my teeth. I came in as an emergency patient last week and sent away with antibiotics, a week later they booked me in for an extraction. It took every bit of strength for me to attend today but I am so glad I did. The dentist I saw was so much more than lovely. She was reassuring, explained everything, extremely caring and sympathetic to how I was feeling. I’m so Greatful to her for not only removing the tooth but giving me a little bit of confidence to return again. I honestly can’t thank her enough. It means more to me than just the tooth. I have been going here for annual checkups and the odd extra appointment for the last 4 years. I’ve always had a great experience with all the staff and service. My dentist is great, very informative and has helped me many times. I was most grateful once when they were able to help me at short notice one evening when I was the last patient in and out of the building.

Had my wisdom tooth out after it had cracked and i was in alot of pain before hand. I'll openly admit that I am petrified of needles and blood, but Sotirious the Dentist put my mind at rest and reassured the whole way through. His assistant/Nurse Kadijah also done a great job and once again made me feel comfortable. Anyone else who is scared of the Dentist don't be, I had a complicated procedure due to the nerves running under the bone but honestly wasn't anywhere near as bad as I anticipated!

Excellent service from Sharieef and Kadijah today as always. I cannot deny when I have seen other dentists, numbing gel is applied for the injection because I don't like pain. Sharieef gave me two injections and I didn't feel anything. They both put me at ease and told me what they would be doing. The whole process was painless and filled me with confidence for when I need anymore work to be done.

I visited with my 2 young sons yesterday after moving from another local dentist. I was so pleased with the welcome faces of the receptionists, especially Vicky, who was very friendly and took my boys straight to the fun activities that they have. I didn't wait long until I was called by the dental nurse, who was also really friendly. The dentist I saw was lovely and so good and patient with my kids who were reluctant to get in the chair. The practice was very clean and calm, and I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking of registering. Thank you, Genix.

So im not a fan of the dentist but I was getting some pain and needed to get it sorted out I was able to book an appointment easy over the phone. I had my appointment with prasaba and she was amazing she made me feel at ease and I needed to have a wisdom tooth out it was done really quickly with not too much pain after. Also the receptionist team were very welcoming especially Dawn and June they could both tell I was nervous but took the time to both chat to me. Great service and great staff.

Receptionists fine but didn’t seem to believe I would pay for the private fillings, kept repeating the price and I kept saying ok. After not having a dentist for a good few years before the lockdown i was suffering with tooth ache tried every dentist in Gloucester for taking on NHS patients, i finally got an emergency appointment with Genix went to see a lady who i must admit had the most amazing beautiful eyes, and told her exactly which tooth was causing pain, she said i could have it taken out that day and also put on the denture plate i already had, i told her i was not keen on needles due to very sensitive gums, she totally understood. She totally talked to me through the whole process and with in minutes the procedure was complete, i never felt a thing with in 4 days i had my denture back with the new tooth attached. Since then i phoned Ginex every month asking for taking on NHS patients, finally i got lucky and they had just started a list for new patients, i was put on it immediately. I love that Ginex is round the corner to the busses it also has a lift up to the dentist, the reception staff are so welcoming and are always polite, the dentists themselves are amazing they are understanding, caring love a bit of banter, make you feel so much at ease. If anyone needs a dentist i would recommend Ginex 100%, Not very often you hear of people recommending dentists but i do with this one.

My dentist (Santila Shimmy) is the best ive ever been to, she has done everything from fillings and extractions with absolutely no pain, she has a good memory for her patients and she checks every few seconds if you are ok.

i came to this dentist as an emergency could not fault them in any way, the staff are all polite and helpful, nurses are great and the dentist well so good got me out of the pain, have been suffering for months but at last i can eat and sleep. I’ve been going here since 2014, the dentist is lovely and have always made me feel confident in their opinions and treatments. The receptionists i find can sometimes be rude and sometimes ringing for 10 minutes + just to get through. If it’s a standard appointment you can be waiting almost a month but if you have an emergency they see you that day. I have had many emergencies and have always been helped rather quickly. I’ve since moved closer to Cheltenham but prefer this dentist do i have stayed with them.

I had this filling done from a different dental practice previously and I accepted the standard of it, however the dentist from Genix did such an amazing job that I realised how bad my preivous filling was. This practice is really really busy they are sent sit and wait emergencies even though they have their own books which are full! Somehow they still manage to get every emergency seen on the day and do their best to make sure all the patients are satisfied with their treatments it can be a wait at times but its better than having to be in pain another night. The reception team do not seem to get a spare minute so its amazing they still spend time with each person and do their best to deal with any problems as best they can! Taking upfront payments according to their practice policies can sometimes be an issue but they do their best! The nurses are constantly on their feet helping out to make the appointments flow as best as possible and if you see any of them they are always approachable and will help with any issues they can. The dentists even though they are under pressure with full books and a separate book of emergencies still are kind and greeted with a smile and professional manner. The best dentist! Working hard to see NHS patients daily even under all the pressure!

I visited Genix in an emergency due to a tooth breaking. I hadn't visited a dentist for a while due to a very bad experience. I was treated and the service was brilliant. The young female dentist was very supportive and reassuring. Yesterday I returned to have the tooth extracted. Absolutely amazing service again. Everything was explained, The lady checked repeatedly that I was in no pain or discomfort and explained everything that was being done. All I say is a huge thank you Raquel. I’ve used the service in Gloucester for some years now - twice during emergencies when I was in severe pain - and have found the staff highly professional, attentive and caring. On the last occasion I saw Dr Mohamed, both he and the dental hygienists assisting him were very approachable, listened to my concerns and explained very thoroughly what my particular problems were and their suggestions to rectify it. It’s a very busy practice, but I’ve never had to wait more than 15 minutes over an allotted appointment time, and even then they apologised profusely for the wait. They also received excellent feedback from their last CQC inspection. Have never felt rushed during a consultation and have lost my ‘dread’ of dental appointments due to their care. Would highly recommend, without reservations.

I was called by the receptionist as an emergency patient, she was very helpful and compassionate to the fact I have a dental phobia. I was given an appointment for that morning. After reading lots of reviews where people complain that they turn up late to their appointment and couldn't be seen is pathetic. If you're late it's your fault not the dentist. Here is a straight to the point review. I have had several emergency appointments and genix has always seen me on the same day even when I wasn't registered there. They may give a time but do not expect to be seen straight away especially if it's an emergency appointment. When you make an emergency appointment the dentists are fully booked but they will get to you as soon as they can. NHS dentists are there to provide you with basic dental care. I've had two root canals, fillings & one extraction. All which have been done by a very polite and very professional dentist who explained clearly what treatment will be performed and what she was doing through out each procedure, what more could you ask for? Compared to what the cost of going privately is! I'm very happy going to genix healthcare.
