I had to attend 543 dental practice this week for the sedation clinic. I was so scared, but every member of staff I encountered there was beyond nice, even during the run up to my treatment, whenever they rang or I had questions, Everyone was so nice and helpful. At my appointment I was reassured and talked to thoroughly before treatment started, everyone was understanding of my concerns and put my mind at ease before beginning. The treatment was over fast, and I've felt fine since with very little pain after. I would highly recommend this dental practice.

Having already filled out forms of medical history and personal details on line before arriving, this made things run very smoothly and quickly upon arrival to the practice. Once in the treatment room I was greeted with a very friendly polite dental nurse and dentist who made me feel comfortable and at ease as I have in the past been a nervous patient. Been seeing these guys for over 30 years now and it's such a lovely, welcoming family run business. Staff always put you at ease when you attend for an appointment. Recently had a telephone appointment as regards oral hygiene which I think is a really good thing especially in the current situation with the dreaded! I'm so glad to be a patient at 543... when I recently needed emergency treatment they got me in to see a fantastic dentist (Isobel El Jassar) who was so friendly, reassuring and all-round brilliant. She established what was wrong immediately, and with her superb team, she quickly (and surprisingly painlessly) made it right. She was really clear in explaining what was wrong, and what my options were for getting it sorted. I've had some awful experiences at Dental appointments, but I reckon this one has cured my phobia of them!

Always feel respected by the friendly staff, the dentists I have seen have been truly wonderful, even at 64 I retain a fear of dentistry that comes from childhood experiences, but the quality of their abilities and care have greatly lessened that concern, it's almost (but only almost) a pleasure to receive any treatment, thank you to all!

As someone who is terrified of dentists, my new dentist at 543 made me feel a lot better about getting work done there. I need a tooth removing but was really not in a good place but he said it was better to be prepared for the procedure and to come back for another appointment he even showed me the x-ray of the tooth and how he would remove it. I would recommend 543 to everyone. I am adding to this review as I have just filled out a form and realised I omitted a comment regarding other sraff members. On my last visit 27th April, a very nice Nurse assisted me up the stairs and was very polite and helpful. The receptionist that arranged a further appointment for me did so in a very friendly manner. Often we (patients) forget to praise or censure auxiliary staff who, let's face it, are the public "face" of any company. 543 are very lucky to have such a good team. Keep up the good work!! 😁

An excellent practice. I booked as I had a loose tooth I had an appointment the following week. Which considering the pandemic is pretty good! I ended up being late, and was not expecting the dentist to see me however, she did and she didn't rush my appointment! She put me at ease and showed me how to clean my teeth properly to get the placque. I'm ashamed to say at the age of 32 I had never been shown. I am usually scared of the dentist however she put me at so much ease Everyone there is amazing. The dentists, nurses and receptionists all friendly and polite. Excellent service!

I sent an email regarding the issue, to which I then received a fairly prompt reply and an appointment once I returned. My dentist D.M referred me to the dental hygienist for another appointment, taken today. Went to have a tooth attended to which had broken leaving a sharp edge which was cutting into my cheek. However, the dentist's information suggested I was just attending for an examination. Thankfully this didn't cause an issue. The dentist explained the situation regarding my tooth and asked if I wished it removed. I did. I anticipated that I would be sent away and asked to re-book for an extraction. However, he said he could do it there an then. Anaesthetic injected and a few minutes pleasant and cordial chat before the extraction was completed in less than two minutes. No pain then, no pain now. Totally satisfied, thank you. I did not see my usual dentist (Dale) so am unsure who the dentist was. Possibly Vali? Totally professional, friendly and efficient.

Recently had to have a tooth removed only thing is I hate needles! I couldn't have been better looked after, the Dentist was Riz and the Nurse was Julie, they where so kind, caring and understanding. Honestly, if I could give more than 5 stars then I would. Started experiencing some pretty horrible toothache during lockdown and my regular dentist couldn’t see me for almost 2 months. Having called 111, I was referred to another dental surgery who then passed my details onto 543 Dental Centre: from that first conversation on the phone to the end of my appointment yesterday, the service I received was impeccable. I could not be more impressed or speak more highly of the team, so much so that I plan to make 543 my regular dentist moving forward. Thank you to the entire team (and especially to Henry, whose hard work helped to relieve the pretty nasty pain I was experiencing).

Had a very troublesome wisdom tooth extraction done which I won’t lie was causing me nightmares at the thought of having it out. Saw Henry and a really lovely nurse (sorry I can’t remember name) and they were fantastic. I cannot fault the service it was so much easier than I had expected I had X-rays and extraction done within 20 mins. So pleased with the service that I’m definitely not as worried about seeing a dentist again as I had been before this experience. 👍👍

My husband Tony and I visited 543 once again for our 6 monthly check up and as usual we were signed in by very friendly staff and directed to the waiting room, Where we were soon called through to the surgery to be welcomed by our lovely dentist Faye and her also lovely nurses. Absolutely fantastic! So thankful! I had to have an emergency treatment sadly a root canal due to an infection in the root of my tooth which hasn’t had a decay or anything on it. Came out of nowhere and the infection went into my sinus the worst experience ever. My own dentist wouldn’t even bother to treat me... 543 has managed to save my tooth, the procedure was painless! So reassuring and so happy that I have been finally treated! I have now registered with 543, unfortunately due to the current circumstances with COVID-19 they won’t be able put me on their patents list until February next year but from then I will be with them. My visit to 543 Dental Centre was a rearranged dental check up after my original appointment was cancelled due to COVID 19 restrictions last July. After making the practice staff aware that I had arrived I was accompanied into the practice promptly and asked to use the hand sanitiser gel provided. I was then taken directly to the dentists consulting room where I was examined, all staff were wearing the appropriate PPE and social distancing was observed whenever possible. Having settled my account and arranging a new appointment I left the surgery via a different route to which I entered. Although my visit was extremely well organised and the correct processes were followed I was surprised that I was not asked about any potential COVID 19 symptoms or exposure. Temperature checks on entry may also help reduce the risk. Thanks to all staff for their welcoming and professional manner.

I can't review my experience of visiting the practice as i haven't visited it recently. I telephoned for a possible appointment for an issue with my teeth and was informed i would be contacted for a TRIAGE discussion. After around a week following the Triage i received an appontment date. Shortly after this i received an e-mail with attachments to fill in on line and with information and links regarding current procedures in view of the COVID situation. These included being met at my car outside, assessed in the carpark (behind a screen) and then to be escorted to the treatment room with gloves and mask. Once there you aren't to talk to the dentist and would be escorted back outside. Payment was to be made PRIOR to the appointment (also could have paid at my first phone call) - when the fee is unknown? Gloves to be removed at the car and mask to be kept on until arriving back home. Also no toilet facilities would be available. All unneccessary points of contact had been removed for our safety. (Including reception -automatic check in i think was mentioned). I know we are 'in a pandemic situation' but all these procedures do seem a little Unreasonable in certain areas and i would have thought it would be reasonable for a practice to still provide a normal reception upon arrival and as for not being able to use the toilet facilities or converse with the dentist? I have been registered with this practice for a number of years and have always had praise for the treatment received/visiting experience but all the above does leave a bad taste in my mouth. Whether the practice is simply following government/nhs issued guidlines or have adopted their interpretation of these i dont know. We look forward to some sort of normality.

Best Chirstmas present! I had a severe toothache in the run-up to Christmas, fortunately I managed to get an emergency appointment here and the service was fantastic. I told the dentist I was a bit nervous and that'd I'd not really been to the dentist as often as I should have and he was very reassuring, sorted my toothache just in time for Christmas. As a new customer I cannot fault the service or level of care received. All appointments are easy to make either via phone or online , you receive confirmation and reminders by email and text. The place is clean tidy and well organised , it's a bit of a maze with a lot going on but it all seems to work efficiently. I was well treated , with everything well explained from future treatment to pricing. Lastly and probably the most noticeable is how polite, cheerful and helpful everyone I came across was.

I don’t believe in giving bad reviews immediately after a bad experience but believe the art of good customer service is putting things right when things go wrong. So, when I had a negative experience with one of the team after a filling needed replacing I called 543 and spoke with Mel, the Practice Manager. Mel was brilliant, apologised (very rare these days!) and arranged for me to see another dentist who provided great patient care, but also an appointment with the Clinical Director, David who took his time to explain a treatment plan and provided a very caring experience. Nobody likes going to the dentist but don’t just give a bad review give them the opportunity to put it right !

I moved to 543 as I was informed I had not dentist due to not using a check up for 16 no the 😕, I went for a check up and the dentist I saw who was called Rupert was great. Went through everything and even talked through how to brush my teeth, it seems I have been doing it wrong for 30yrs! It was nice to talk about everything and not just sit on the chair and get told "that's fine see you in 6 months" I felt comfortable and well informed when i left even after been told I need some treatment. 5* service highly recommended.

After moving back to the Hull area, I was somewhat looking forward to returning to the dentist that looked after me throughout my childhood. Unfortunately due to traffic I was slightly late. I called as soon as practicable to inform the practise to be greeted by a very rude receptionist who informed me if I was too late, I wouldn't be seen. Fair enough, but talking over me, ignoring my questions and not answering how late is too late isn't good customer service. I'm also fairly sure this isn't the first time I've left a review in a similar nature. The dentist I saw was kind and professional; and the practise itself was clean and well maintained. The experience was just massively let down by the poor attitude of the receptionist I spoke to.

Never had a bad experience here. Last visit I had to call them whilst on the way as I was stuck in standing traffic and knew I was going to be late. I fully expected to have to rebook but they were amazingly helpful and advised that they would fit me in late if at all possible. When I arrived nearly 20 minutes late they checked with Dale if he could still see me and there was no problem. I again expected to have to wait a while for other patients to be seen but was not made to wait! The staff are all very helpful and friendly and despite there being dental practices much closer to home I would never consider changing. 😁

I was in pain and called for an emergency appointment which was the next day. Saw the dentist who looked in my mouth and said that I have infected gums and the pain was coming from the wisdom tooth. I know without a doubt that it was not the wisdom tooth but a molar tooth and that I have a cavity because I can feel it with my tongue. Plus I can apply pressure on all my teeth but that one. Then he sprayed something to numb the pain and told me to make an appointment, which was 12 days later, After missing 2 shifts at work, I went to my appointment, only for the dentist to look at my mouth again, told me to make another appointment. 2 visits with no treatment or antibiotics, plus the next appointment date is 34 days from now. I gave up and called my old dental practice who still had my records and made an appointment which is going to be 8 days from now. It may be convenient is have a dental practice that is close by when you move, but not if they are not concerned about your pain. Update: I was seen in 5 days time as I had put down my name on the waiting list. The hygienist was very friendly and put my mind at ease by explaining that my pain was indeed coming from my gums and not a cavity after cleaning my teeth. If only the dentist was patient enough to listen to my concerns instead of talking over me and directing my pain to my wisdom tooth that had no pain, I would not have written this review,

The actual visit was probably the best experience of the dentist I've ever had. Rachel was amazing and thorough and very patient with my daughter who was a little apprehensive and upset at having to have x rays. My only negative comment, which does not relate to any of the dental professionals directly, is that every time I visit it's a different dentist. There is no consistency for my children who don't exactly love visiting the dentist at the best of times. We seem to have a visit, like the dentist and then get told our next check up is with someone else. Really makes reassuring the children difficult

I'm extremely nervous in fact, I'd go so far as to say I have a phobia of dentists but I needed treatment and was referred to 543 from my dentist, they could not have been more kinder or understanding from the receptionist to the dentist, everyone I came into contact with were brilliant!! I had to have two teeth extracted but didn't know anything about it, the sedation is to be recommended for anyone who is nervous etc!!!

I couldn't get hold of a dentist for a whole month after experiencing pain in my jaw and teeth for that period of time. I was offered an appointment through a colleague of mine and was seen the next day despite not being a patient. I then turned up at the surgery and I was offered treatment right away. Although I was hesitant to take it, I knew it would be for the best. I had two fillings done due to my cavities. The procedure went very well and I have to say that both Rebecca and Sally are an asset to the practice as they made me feel like I could get through the procedure. I attended the 543 dental surgery on Sat 31st March 2018 for treatment. I was greeted with a very polite and friendly member of the team. Next the dentist Sergio came and greeted me and put me at ease (as I am a very nervous patient due to a bad experience at a former dentist). Nothing was too much trouble. I was x-rayed then taken in for treatment and it was completed within minutes (no pain or discomfort what-so-ever). I can't say or thank them all for their professional and caring attitude. I have been under the care of Dr Payman Shahipassand for 20 years now. I used to be very phobic about the dentist. I can honestly say he has never caused me any pain and always discusses my treatment with me giving me options and choices. I had a lot of awful black fillings from previous dentists, they have all been replaced now as I asked him for, with white ones. The nurses and receptionists are very supportive too. I would strongly recommend him, especially if you have fear as I did. I live near Scarborough now but still travel back down to Hull to see Dr Payman, he's worth it. 12/11/2020 saw Payman at 543, having lost a filling. I was so impressed with the safety and PPE that staff were wearing, they are an amazing team. It can’t be easy for them, working the way they are.The safety systems they have in place are excellent.

The staff are so friendly and helpful, i got an appointment within the week with Mr.Valeriu Osoianu to discuss my options as i have very crooked top front row teeth, i suggested having the six top front teeth removed and veneers put in. After an examination Mr.Osoianu was very to the point and said he really wasn't happy taking healthy teeth out, and would i consider having my teeth built up to straighten them out, which is what i decided to go for. I then had a consult straight after with Sarah, who explained the work which would be done in detail and asked if i would like some time to consider, or book an appointment to have the work done. There was no pressure at all, but i had decided to go ahead with the work and got an appointment two weeks later.I have been today for my treatment and have to say i am over the moon and can't stop smiling. Mr.OSOIANU has done an amazing job and im so very happy with the result, my teeth look natural and straight.I did pay private ,but it was a fraction of the price, much less painful,than having extractions and veneers, and worth every penny. Did i say i can't stop smiling :) so happy, would highly recommend.

My only criticism is that I need some further treatment as a tooth has been causing me some discomfort but I will have to wait nearly a month for the treatment as this was the next available appointment! Our visit on Monday was excellent. The only thing we found odd was we were asked to sign an electronic device with our finger nail at reception after checking our details!!! We saw Emily (our prefered dentist) who did a thorough check of our teeth and mouth. Emily gave us clear advice on how best to maintain good oral health. We have always had excellent treatment from Emily and would highly recommend her. The new system for paying by card is an improvement now we able to pay for two people in one transaction, saving time and paper. However we would prefer to have a more detailed receipt showing the cost of each individual treatment eg cost of X-ray etc.

well what is there not to like about 543 Dental practice. What I can say is that the staff from reception to the Dentist to the Hygienist are nothing short of excellent. You are made to feel at ease from the moment you walk through the door. All the time I have to go the girls at reception have this ability to make you feel at ease and are so professional and knowledgeable about the service that is given. But here is the difference, each patient is dealt with on a personal level and any questions that you may have are answered right away in a language that you can understand. The Dental Doctor which each patient I assigned to are treated with dignity and your procedure is explained at every stage to you. I have had nothing but admiration for the Dental Doctor that I have seen, the care is nothing but excellent and the nurses are themselves considerate and thoughtful when helping the Dentist during procedure. I have experienced absolute pain free treatment and highly recommend 543 Dental practice. My personal Hygienist Connie is absolutely and professionally brilliant, her knowledge in dealing with all aspects of Gum Decease and dental Hygiene is 100% spot on. Due to her caring nature and knowledge she has saved me from further fillings and tooth loss. I cannot reiterate enough how important it is that you take notice when given sound advice from all the staff at 543, they will not ill advise you I can personally assure you of that. 543 dental is quite a large dental practice situated on one of the main roads into Hull centre. The practice main entrance and exit doors have no steps and are level with the ground outside - great for pushchairs, prams or wheelchairs. The practice is spacious and tidy, having clear signage as to where patients need to be. Waiting areas have comfortable seating with the usual selection of magazines, TV and drinking water. Toilets are easily accessible - thou the gents toilet I used is rather small! On arrival for your appointment you are greeted by the receptionist, booked in and directed to the relavent waiting area. Ive never had to wait very long before being called into the dentists room. My check ups/treatments have always been carried out carefully and thoroughly. All that being said about the premises, and they really are to a very good standard. Themarkng about 543 that really does stand out is the staff - they are efficient, polite and very friendly. My dentist (Dr Payman), greets me with a beaming smile, and I am assured that he is genuinely concerned about my dental care with the treatment I receive and the advise he gives to me about ongoing home care. If I was to down mark my visits to this practice it would be with regard to the lack of car parking, there isn't any onsite that I'm aware of. I always do find on street parking down the adjacent street but usually have to walk a little way. I do see bus stops are close by so access via public transport wouldn't be a problem. Speaking personally - I really have feared visiting the dentist most my life (after some very traumatic experiences in my childhood with an alcoholic dentist - since struck off). But I can now honestly say that all in all, 543 in Hull is the best dental practice ive ever been to !
