Just visited today 1st time with my children , The dentist was very friendly and experienced. He made sure that my children weren’t scared and always checked up on them. My children felt comfortable around him and the other staff members were polite and helpful. I definitely recommend this dentist to others.

My daughter molly who is only 7 year old had two teeth taken out today here and they was absolutely brilliant with her! they used the gas and general aesthetic on her what was amazing she didn’t feel a thing they made her very comfortable! Wouldn’t want to take my kids to any other dentist highly recommend

Absolutely brilliant dentist 😀 he's amazing with kids and makes them feel at ease always has my kids smiling ear to ear and giggling! I was nervous about my son having one of his teeth pulled but Mr boyd was brilliant and my son didn't even realise he had even pulled his tooth out. Excellent 😁 Happy child happy mum. Highly recommend!

This is by far the best dental practice I've been ! Dr. Boyd it's super friendly ,nice and professional. The kids love him and I think he does a wonderful job. Been there a couple of times with my son and everything went great ! All his assistants are very helpful and nice as well. Super Recommend it !

I called up on Monday with an incredibly painful tooth and jaw ache, I was given an emergency appointment the next day. I needed a tooth removing which he booked me in for the very next day. The tooth extraction was painless and, as always, I received fantastic service from Ian and the team. Would recommend to anyone and everyone. Thankyou for your help!

Amazing, I had an emergency extraction today, first time visiting Mr Boyd and he really put me at ease, very friendly. Reasonable price considering the work he had to do to get the tooth out. Dr Boyd has looked after my teeth since i was little, I needed two top wisdom teeth removing and he made it a very comfortable experience as did his assistant Emma. My anxiety was through the roof, but there's nobody you could trust more than this top dentist.

All 3 of my girls enjoy going to the dentist because he's great at making them feel at ease. My eldest (15) recently had 2 teeth pulled & was terrified......absolutely no need!! She didn't even know anything had been done. She couldn't feel the needles firstly. I having been coming to Boyds dentist all my life and I can’t rate it highly enough. Ian is an amazing dentist and somehow always manages to make a visit into a really pleasant experience. I recently needed a tooth pulling (for the first time) and was initially scared stiff but I was completely put at ease and did not feel a single thing. The aftercare advice I was given was great and my gum healed really well with no problems at all. My 16 year old daughter has always attended Boyds and I will always remember how wonderful he was with her, right at the beginning, taking the time to show her what would happen and talk to her about everything. She used to spend most of the appointment giggling at him. She has no fear of the dentist and sees it as being a positive experience. Iain even gives great career advice too!

Cant recommend this practice enough. Took my 9 year old daughter back in march for a check up and she immediately felt comfortable with Ian. Then took her again yesterday to have her first tooth out and again she said after the appointment how at ease she felt and how friendly Ian Is. Service is great, a lovely dental practice.

Great Dental practice, quick appointment time and friendly staff.

My 3 kids have been going here for over a decade and they've never moaned once about visiting the dentist! Last month, my daughter had to have a couple of baby teeth out and despite going in nervous, she was soon calm and relaxed throughout the whole procedure. I started going here myself just over a year ago, after developing a fear of dentists due to seeing some terrible ones as a kid. I have no worries going now. The whole team are kind, funny and very professional! Outstanding dental practice and totally recommended.

Today we took our 7 year old son to have a tooth removed to allow his adult tooth to come through with the pressure of pushing the old one out too soon. My boy was very scared, but the dentist was fantastic and put him at ease and administered the gas and air and had the tooth out within 10 minutes with absolutely no pain and stress for my son. Cant thank him enough for how he has made a possibly traumatic experience for my son become one that he now doesn't feel any fear of the dentist.

Mr Boyd is a great dentist like his father before him. The team are really welcoming and friendly and make you feel at ease. Both my children had teeth out recently and no problems. I recently had a fall which resulted in breaking my front teeth. I was given an emergency appointment straight away. After leaving my mouth to settle down for a couple of weeks I attended a second appointment. I was worried that I would permanently have misshapen teeth. Mr Boyd assured me that he would be able to fix my teeth. I am pleased to say that after my second visit you cannot tell that my teeth had been broken. Mr Boyd was able to match the shade of my teeth perfectly. I am extremely happy with the outcome. I would like to thank Mr Boyd and his staff for their fantastic customer service. I have been visiting this dentist for over fifty years and I can highly recommend it.

Cannot stress how amazing this dentist is! I’ve not been to the dentist in 6 years because I’m always terrified of the pain, I saw the reviews on google and plucked up the courage to make an appointment. I’m so glad I did! Amazing staff! I was well looked after and it was very affordable. After 6 years of plaque build up and gum problems, I officially can’t stop smiling, my teeth look amazing and I now know how to care for my gums thanks to an amazing dentist!😁

Mr Boyd is an AMAZING dentist - FACT! I've had some pretty bad dentists over the years which has left me feeling very apprehensive about getting in the chair. Mr Boyd was recommended to me and I am pleased to say that he lived up to the hype! His staff are very friendly and he really knows how to put you at ease - chatting away and cracking jokes! I've just returned from having my first treatment (a filling) which he did (and a scale and polish) in super quick time. I didn't feel the injection and the drilling was over in no time at all. If you have any fear of dentists, then I can wholeheartedly recommend that you visit Mr Boyd and his team - I've finally found a dentist that I will be happy to visit every 6 months!

I needed an emergency appointment as I don't have a registered dentist. My son is registered at Boyed’s and he all ways amazes me how great he is with him and how professional all the staff are. This is why I chose his practice, I called up on the Monday and was seen Wednesday for an extraction. He put me at ease and explained exactly what the issue was and what he needed to do whilst all ways building up a great rapore and putting me at ease. Absolutely fantastic place. I have been to this dentist for over 25 years..and mums been here since she was 7 and we had his dad as a dentist. He is just amazing makes the kiddies feel so amazing my son was nervous.. and seriously as soon as he laid down he was not.. he needed a tooth out and had a big absess Dentist got my son in today when I rang up afternoon on Monday!!! Absolutely fantastic, honestly I'd recommend 10000%. Plus..kids get fab stickers!! And I'm sure if you asked nicely as an adult and you was brave you would get one also😛 My son had the gas and Air and wow what a fantastic thing for dentists to have was over and done with in around 4 minutes. Mr Boyd and his team are amazing. Every visit is full of humour and conversation with the whole family. Most people dread the dentist but not our family due to the fantistic atmosphere the team create every visit. Keep up the great work!!

My son have big problem because he like to much sweets. I thing all children have same. And we have already couple visit at this dentist, my son really very happy how way talk and say what gone by next. My son at first scare to go in dentist room. He every time asking for me is it gone be painful. I was telling him you no gone feel pain. So after first visit my son say mum than I gone have next visit to check my tooth? And he was smile untill he go sleep. So today we have next visit. My son no ask for me any more is it gone by painful or not. He know this dentist is best. 5 star to this dental practice.

Just had 4 teeth extracted over two weeks and Dr B. Was fantastic. He made me feel relaxed ( well as relaxed as you can when pooping your pants about it) and was quite funny too. The two teeth were out quickly in seconds but he was also careful about not damage teeth. If you can get a spot with this practice I'd highly reccommend them. P.s. if you like hubba bubba bubble gum then you'll love his numbing gel!
