Dr Zoe is just amazing. I have been seeing her for the past couple of weeks after not seeing a dentist for over 10 years due to a bad experience. So far I have had fillings on my front teeth. The process was painless and I was really put at ease. Dr Zoe also went through a dental hygiene plan with me and i was never once made to feel embarrassed about the current state of my teeth. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Really happy with my experience here so far. I went in with various issues that had been neglected by previous dentists and they've all been fixed. Dr Deu explains everything clearly and made me feel comfortable with my options. I had to see the hygienist multiple times and she did a brilliant job of again explaining the issues and how we can fix them together with a bit of work at home. They have parking on-site for a few cars which is handy for the location.

Exceptional service received by Dr Zoe and Dental Assistant Olu today at Deu Dental. I had a filling done, and it was my smoothest dental experience to date. I didn't feel a thing, they were both so friendly and gentle, they made me feel at ease and did a fantastic job too, considering it was my front tooth - which looks as good as new now! I have been visiting the practice for more than 5 years. I had a filling replaced on a lower wisdom tooth by Dr. Ali. I am a nervous patient but she was very attentive and i didnt feel any pain at all during the procedure. She was very friendly and made the whole experience more relaxing. Would recommend this dental practice. Despite COVID-19, I was offered my yearly check up at my usual time and they had sufficient availability. I recently had my first filling there, and Dr Deu was very efficient with the treatment and talked me through the process to make me feel reassured. Their COVID-19 measures are brilliant- lots of hand sanitising stations and very well organised nd clear once you enter the building. Thank you!

It was a Very good service and friendly staff. I went for a internal bleaching in one tooth that I had darker in the front teeth, the treatment took 2 weeks but the Dr Jagtar, who saw me told me, it only takes one week but he wanted better results. He was very professional and the place was clean and with all the measures for the covid safety with masks and sanitisers and all the rules. I just had a good experience. I would recommend this place.

I am very happy and confident with the security protocols taken into account in every detail before, during and after the consultation. All staff have their PPE, the time between patients is very well coordinated as they are spaced, with very few people waiting a few minutes. I have gone several times and taken my next shifts with confidence.

I have been using Deu Dental Care for 3 or 4 years. Overall, my experience has been positive. The dentists seem to listen to the patients which is nice. Most recently I had a wisdom tooth extracted and I was very impressed with the Jagtar Deu's manner and professionalism. The practices COVID measures seem adequate - checking for symptoms before you enter, hand sanitising etc.

I have not been to the dentist in almost 15 years as I had quite a bit of fear and anxiety around dentists, however I have just had my first appointment and treatment with DEU Dental Care and they really put me at ease and got me over my fear. Dr Jagtar was fantastic, he really took the time to explain everything to me, make me feel comfortable and reassure me about the process. I had to get a filling, which I was quite scared about but he was incredibly efficient and caring. He also talked me through how I can make some changes to improve my oral care and I went away feeling very informed and motivated to look after my teeth better. The receptionist was very friendly too and booked me in for my next appointments and I received email reminders for these, which is very useful.

I have been going to Deu Dental for over a year now. Your first check up will have the dentist completing an X-Ray of your teeth, which was great because they told me that eventually my lower wisdom teeth will come through (I didn't even think I had wisdom teeth and nobody told me despite multiple x-rays during my teenage years with braces) and that I needed a hygienist appointment. My hygienist appointment a few months ago went well, it was slightly painful on my sensitive tooth but I didn't disclose that to the people working on my teeth until afterwards - rookie error on my part. I've since had another few check-ups and a filling fitted today. The staff are always lovely and willing to go out of their way for you, both dentists that I have seen (one very young lady who is very bubbly, and one gentleman who was extremely kind and had some teaching qualifications under his belt too) have been fabulous. They have always been gentle on my teeth (which I haven't experienced during my brace days or from previous dental practises) and just been honest with where my oral health and wellbeing will take me if I choose to have different diets. I have seen a few reviews which mention being struck off the NHS after missed appointments - this is not an issue with Deu dental, but a rule of being on the NHS dental system. This will only be changed if the NHS changes its policies, so cannot be a fault of this particular dental surgery. I also wish that paying for different grade NHS treatments were cheaper, but Deu don't set the prices so I cannot criticise them for playing by the rules. Oral care is just expensive, but considering how I get the rest of my NHS care for free, I know I can prioritize saving my money for dental appointments. Overall I have never felt so informed about my oral health and I feel that my teeth are the cleanest and most well looked after thanks to the work of the team at Deu dental. Thank you so much for always giving me such a wonderful service!!!!

Good place. Pretty well organised and appointment booking procedure easy enough. I like the fact that they proactively contact you to remind that your checkup is due. Mostly though, I really like Dr Fiona. She's very good at relaxing you and explaining things clearly. Friendly, approachable and she represents the practice well. The reception staff can sometimes be a little passive but not too bad.

A brilliant dentist! Dr Deu is the best dentist I have ever used. I have a lot of fillings dating back many years and Dr Deu has been really helpful in maintaining the health of my teeth with minimal work over the years. Such a difference from many of the dentists I have seen in the past, who seemed determined to pile fillings upon fillings! The surgery also offers highly professional and friendly staff and Faye the hygienist never fails to be friendly, chatty and to leave my teeth shiny and clean. I recommend this dentist very highly!

This is the best dentist that I've ever been to. Before I went to Mr Deu, I was really afraid of the dentist, having had a bad experience when I was in university at another practice. Mr Deu is really friendly, a calming influence and really clear about the work he is about to do. He listens well to you and always makes sure you're okay throughout any dental checkups/work. The hygienist is really nice too and the dental nurses are always polite and smiley. I would definitely recommend this dentist!

I registered with Deu Dental because I had a broken tooth and couldn't avoid going to the dentist anymore. I was informed that I would need root canal to treat the tooth and I was terrified! At the first treatment appointment Dr Deu managed to keep me calm (he had to remind to breathe!) and the remaining appointments were nowhere near as scary because I hadn't been hurt and I could see and feel the progress. I would definitely recommend this practice.

After I noticed some 'decay' on my teeth, I knew I needed to go to the dentist. I had not been in 7 years and was very very embarrassed. It took me a few months to pluck up the courage to go to the dentist. I looked at reviews and saw that hardly any practices were accepting new patients and the ones that were had really long waiting lists or bad reviews. I decided to take a chance on this one as I was getting desperate, despite to 3/5 rating on the NHS website and bad reviews. I thought how bad can it be? And told myself people are most likely to review bad service, human nature and all that. I called on the Monday and asked about joining, was told to go down and fill out a registration form which I did. I then was told by the very friendly receptionist I would be put on a waiting list which is usually 2 days to 2 weeks. The day after I got a phone call saying they had some appointments and had my appointment the Wednesday morning. I was very nervous and was sure my teeth would need pulling out, or that the dentist would be mean to me. He wasn't at all. I sat down and he asked me to explain what was going on then he had a look in my mouth. He took some x-rays of my teeth and asked me to wait outside while they developed. I was called back in 5 mins later to be told that I needed two fillings but everything else was okay and he was happy with the rest of my teeth/gums - then he spoke to me a bit about oral hygiene, I had some 'staining' which I wanted removing (I thought this was rot/decay) and he said I could book an appointment with the hygienist for an intense clean, but I didn't need it. I made an appointment for the fillings, which was the following Monday. When I went for the appointment for the fillings, I was a little nervous. He asked if I wanted it numbing, I said yes and he injected me but I didn't really feel the needle at all. He waited two mins while the numbness set in and said he was going to start and if I felt any pain or discomfort to raise my hand so he could stop. The fillings took about 10 mins for both - throughout the procedure he and the dental nurse kept asking if I was okay and saying I was doing well. The only thing I would knock is one of the reception staff. I spoke to three throughout my visits and two of them were very friendly and chatty, but there was one that gave the impression of being bored/fed up. She wasn't rude or anything, just not as smiley and friendly as the others. I was very very happy with the time it took to get the appointment. Within 7 days I had registered, had a check up and had treatment. I will be going back for a check up in 6 months and recommending this dentist to my friends. All that's left now is to wait for the hygienist - who is currently fully booked up until the new year. If you are reading this review and are scared/embarrassed about your teeth - visit this dentist for quick and non-judgmental treatment.

This was one of the best dental experiences I've had. I am traumatised with dentists but Dr Jagtar S Deu made me feel comfortable after seeing me look so anxious. I registered with this dentist as an NHS patient when I chipped a tooth. I had my check up and treatment all within a week and half of registering. As a student at university this was great because I didn't have to travel home to get the dental care I needed. Although fillings and scaling will never be a pleasant experience where ever you go, I came out feeling really pleased with the results. I highly recommend this dentist!

If you are putting off seeing a dentist, think again and register as an NHS patient at the Cookridge practice. After worrying sick for a week, the extracting of a tooth by Mr J S Deu went ... like a dream! If I didn't have a hole in place of the tooth, I wouldn't believe it's been taken out! The initial injections were a bit painful but the lovely dental nurse held my hand and they both kept talking gently to me. Then, ABSOLUTELY NO PAIN when my mouth woke up, something I was dreading.
