B. W.Went for a routine check-up recently with Chris who I'd not met before. Very friendly and personable and at the same time had an air of professionalism and competence which made me feel at ease and confident that I was in good hands.In fact the whole experience with FHDC is one of supportive reassurance and skilled care. From the reception staff, support staff and dental professionals they collectively offer a high standard of care and dental hygiene support.
j. t.Love the dentists here. All staff are nice and helpful too. You have to sign up to a dental plan which is £22 a month to begin with, but it was worth it for me because there were years long waiting lists on the NHS.

I had 12 extractions in four visits and am now the happy owner of new dentures which become easier to manage every day. The staff are friendly and very professional and the treatment was relatively painless.

I haven't been for about 2 years since Covid, I saw Mr Chris Beech never seen him before as he hasn't been there long I didn't need to have worried as he made me feel at ease and he was very informative.
e. w.The practice has been thorough in its attention to make sure everything was Covid-19 safe. In addition,Laura was professional, capable and extremely pleasant. She explained clearly what the process would entail.. a new upper denture being made and fitted, to accommodate an additional gap where a crown had broken and could not be replaced ( the rest of the tooth having subsequently been removed. ). She took care to ensure the new denture fitted well and looked good, blending in with the surrounding teeth.
In addition, other members of the practice have been a real pleasure to deal with. I thoroughly recommend FHDC!

P. E.I have recently completed teeth straightening and teeth whitening dental treatment at FHDC and have been amazed by the results. The whole team have been very supportive (I’m a bit nervous) and have been great at explaining things to me. I joined this dentist as I could not get an appointment at my old NHS dental practice and I needed a check up. There are lots of safety precautions in place and there have been extra steps added because of Covid. I felt very safe and comfortable and both the dentist and the dental nurse had a great chair-side manner. The team on reception were also lovely and were able to answer all my questions (and I always have lots of them!) I cannot recommend this place highly enough and I wish I had chosen to become a member sooner. Thank you

I. U.I have been with FHDC for several years now and have been very happy with them. My latest visit was to replace a many decade's old crown and Chris Beech did an expert job in removing this and replacing it with a temporary one. Unfortunately, when the new crown was inserted Chris saw that it was not up to standard, so I now have another temporary one and are hoping that all will be well when I return next.
Z. W.For years I just avoided the dentist after struggling to find an nhs dentist that I liked/felt comfortable with and so decided to try private as an adult. I found this one and thought I’ll try it and see how I feel. My first check up made me feel so much better about going to the dentist that I knew I’d found one to suit me. They actually had the time to discuss problems and areas I was missing during brushing. I also required 2 fillings since covid began and I was impressed by how organised they were when they reopened. I used to be very anxious about the dentist, to the point where I just wouldn’t go anymore and have had panic attacks in the chair in the past. Since registering with far headingley I’ve been going regularly and feel so much better about it.
For someone who used to be as anxious as me about dentists, having 2 fillings done without any problems has been fantastic and I’m very grateful. The first filling I had went so well and was completely pain free (I don’t know what numbing gel they use but it’s magic) and I didn’t feel any pain from injections. Because I’d had such a great experience with my first filling, I felt a lot more confident about getting the 2nd one done. In fact after the last filling I had on the 15/3 I left feeling happy and positive with the whole procedure being a comfortable experience. If you are worried or anxious about the dentist this is the place for you! You really do get what you pay for and with this dentist it’s worth every penny just for the quality of care you receive.
Finally all staff are welcoming, friendly and easy to talk to and my dentist is very professional/trustworthy. You really do feel like they genuinely want to help you look after your teeth in the long term which is great. Thankyou!

I'm usually terrified of having treatment done but Rob makes the whole experience pleasant and relaxed, let's you take breaks if you need them and makes sure you are definitely numb before going ahead! My check up was great any concerns I had were discussed thoroughly before hand and once the check up was done the dentist explained any changes I needed to make to my daily routine. Awful, but this practice had been working hard behind the scenes and were ready to go the first they could. Before joining this practice I wan't very happy with how my teeth looked and I didn't like my current dentist. I joined because I came across their website when searching for a new dentist in Leeds. They had a special offer where you could go for a free cosmetic consultation. I live in Headingley so this wasn't to much of a risk if I didn't like them. Fortunately I did and I have to say my new veneers and teeth whitening have made me look years younger. Prices were reasonable too. The place is well decorated and they have very friendly people working there. The nurse was very bubbly!

My current regular dentist is Laura who has an excellent approach with patients and is clearly a very skilled dentist (I’m not a nervous dental patient but if you were, you’d find Laura’s style very reassuring).
With my most recent treatment (teeth straightening and whitening) Laura referred me to Mrs Precious, who explained my treatment options clearly and was very positive (but also realistic) about what could be achieved. Again, I found her approach very reassuring and I felt fully involved in the treatment decisions. Throughout this treatment I also saw many other members of the team: Becky, Kim and several of the dental nurses (apologies for not recalling their names) and I really couldn’t fault the level of service that each of them provided. Finally, the practice is lucky to have such a professional and welcoming receptionist in Megan – she contributes significantly to patients’ having an overall positive experience when they visit FHDC.
Oh, and the appointment text reminder service is excellent.

J. W.I moved to Leeds nearly a year ago and was looking for a new dentist. I picked up a leaflet from the estate agents when I moved.This practice had a very nice website. The receptionist was very helpful and I managed to get seen by Mrs Precious the owner of the practice the next day.
The practice is on Otley road and they have a car park around the back which is useful.
I'm glad to say that my teeth were fine (few as it had been years since I last saw a dentist in London!). I've never been happy with my teeth (battered after rugby). I had a long chat with Mrs Precious about what I could do about my teeth and I opted for teeth whitening, two dental crowns and some nice veneers (My wife says she fancies me again!!)
Because I joined Denplan I managed to get 10% off the cost of the work. Mrs Precious was very gentle and took her time with me which I liked as I was a bit nervous.
I would thoroughly recommend this practice if you need a new dentist.

I had an emergency filling last summer and have now signed up as a regular patient. I have recently had a full check up done. Laura put together a dental plan for the work that I need doing that was best for me. Throughout the appointments Laura and all the staff have been very accommodating and made what would normally be a nerve wrecking time for me quite easy.

R. D.I've been treated by Rob Campbell since he joined six years ago. He has just replaced a very old filling for me. He is the gentlest dentist I have ever had. I never have an injection for fillings and he manages to do the work without causing any pain. He always makes sure that you are comfortable with what he is doing and he explains every stage. He is friendly and efficient. The dental nurses and the receptionists are also welcoming and do their best to set you at your ease while you are waiting or being treated.

K. C.I came here because I needed a root canal, and my regular NHS dentist refused to do it. I have TMJ and she felt it would be too difficult. The male dentist I saw (wish I could remember his name - I think it is maybe Rob?) was amazing! I get a bit nervous about dental visits, partly as they usually cause me pain due to my jaw issues. I was put at ease from the beginning (they ask you in your initial survey if you have any anxiety about it, which is nice).
He couldn't have been more reassuring, and took my jaw issues into account. They used a prop, which made it easier to keep my mouth open during the work. He asked regularly if I was ok, or wanted a break at all. He communicated everything he was doing really well. I ended up also having a deep filling and cap done there (NHS dentist wouldn't cap the root canal as she said it wasn't necessary... 3 weeks later part of the tooth broke off!!) This work was also very professional. I am really happy with the dental work itself too.
Of course with it being a private dental practice, it is pricey, but that is par for the course. If you can afford it, I feel like it is worthwhile. Katie on reception is an absolute gem - she got me in quickly when I was in a lot of pain and is a pleasure to chat to every time I have been! Couldn't recommend more!

Rob is a true gentleman. He provided the best service and really cares about his customers. Before every adjustment Rob checked in how I was getting on with the brace. After every appointment he made sure my mouth was comfortable with the tightening/new position of the brace. This meant that the brace itself was trouble free, easy to clean and didn't bother me.

Mrs Precious is an excellent Dentist and ensures that I am kept fully aware of any further treatments that become necessary, and then carries them out with minimal discomfort. Similarly, my quarterly appointments with Rebecca (hygienist) enable her to monitor the condition of my teeth and to ‘crack the whip’ if I am falling down in any way. From the outset everything clearly explained from costs to dental procedures. All staff came across as professional , friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend FHDC to everybody.

C.I've had bad experiences with dentists all my life, including one who gave me 3 fillings I don't think I needed and wanted me back for another 3 (which I never had and that's 6 years ago now!) so I'd been avoiding going and hadn't been for a long time. I was having real problems with bleeding gums every time I brushed my teeth so thought I'd give FHDC a try. 6 months later I'm completely healed and back to having a healthy mouth thanks to the patient and caring staff. Massive shout out to Rebecca the hygienist who is so gentle I didn't even need any pain killer as she gouged the accumulated gunk out of my gums over 3 visits.
In short, if you need a good dentist look no further. I'm going to stick with these guys even if I end up moving away from Leeds. They are the best!
