Great dental practice! Staff are very friendly and professional and the practice is very modern and fresh looking. My dentist is always very thorough and explains in detail the process, whether it's for a check up or treatment. I've recently had my teeth whitened and I have to say the results have been fantastic! Garforth dental are very professional, welcoming and provide a very comfortable, friendly, informative environment throughout. I really appreciated the time taken to explain the results of my checkup and the options available, supported with clear and concise information/pictures so that I could understand at my level and choose the preferred options. The receptionists are also very friendly and, like the dentist, provided clear and concise information and options, with no signs of trying to sell at all, but rather to help and leave open for me to make a choice. At no point did I feel rushed, quite the opposite. I found everyone very helpful and personable and would highly recommend. I hadn't been to the dentist since before lockdown and my previous dentist now had a 6 month wait for an appointment so decided to go private and picked Garforth Dental purely on it being nearest my house and I'm glad i did. Very friendly receptionists and I was seen bang on time by Clifford and Gracie, both of whom were very friendly. Seemed a much more thorough checkup than I'd had with previous NHS checkups as well and not so rushed. Only downside is I need a filling but the blame for that lies more with sweets than the dentist.

Had a routine check a few days ago. As an OAP with more fillings than teeth and numerous repairs in recent years , l have periods of discomfort which always disappear when in the chair ! I was very impressed with the dentist when she spent far more than the allocated time in listening to my problems and carried out a very detailed check including X-ray. She has arranged some remedial repairs in the areas l complained about and l feel reassured with her diagnoses. I feel that compared with past checks this was excellent service.

Todays visit (19 September2022) was the first of two visits to cap a broken tooth. Not an inexpensive procedure, but necessary. At the preliminary visit a couple of weeks ago John outlined the process in detail. Today the major preparatory work was undertaken preparing for the cap in a couple of weeks time. The procedure was painless and by no means an unpleasant experience thanks to the skill of John and Katie. I can now look forward to the completion of my treatment, and a shiny new tooth in early October. Thanks Garforth Dental for your expertise and professionalism. My second visit (6 October 2022) and a successful outcome with a shiny new porcelain cap fitted. It is a perfect fit and matches my own teeth exactly. Once again the service was excellent, totally professional and very friendly. I would have no hesitation in recommending Garforth Dental to prospective new patients.

I didn't realise what I was missing from dental care until I came here. The attentive and communicative approach is reassuring and provides for as pleasant a trip to the dentist as can be. My wife and I attended Garforth Dental today for our 6 monthly appointments. We waited for a few minutes in the very comfortable waiting area before we were invited into one of the treatment rooms by a dental nurse. There we were introduced to our new Dentist, Mr Clifford Sim. After asking us if we had experienced any dental issues over the previous 6 months, he explained the procedure and preceded to give us both a very thorough dental examination. My wife also had some new x-rays taken of her gums and teeth. Thankfully Clifford told us that our gums and teeth were still OK considering our ages and we should both be fine until our next 6 monthly checkup. We were then told that the Admin staff would contact us closer to the time to arrange our next appointments. Clifford was a recent addition to the practice dentists and we would highly recommend him, not only as a dentist but as a lovely young guy, who's approach immediately put us at ease. Thank you to Clifford and all your very efficient and friendly staff.

I have had 3 appointments over the last 4 months at Garforth Dental and I have to say I have been very impressed. The greeting at the reception was excellent and friendly (much better than having to phone & wait outside!). John Slater was friendly and very efficient, I needed a filling which was done by a young lady and again was friendly and done very well (sorry I have forgotten her name) and painless. I then had 2 appointments with Clifford Sim to have Boutique Whitening. I have to say I found Clifford very professional in the work required preparing the gum type plates for my mouth whilst also been friendly and talking me through the work he was doing. I have to say as a senior citizen who has been with this Dentist surgery over 40 years, I was unsure and nervous when the new Dentists took over, but I can honestly say my mind has been put at ease as all the staff have all been excellent and I would recommend them all. If anyone is considering having Teeth whitening I would strongly recommend this surgery and Clifford Sim, even though I have only just started my course, I am confident it will be a success. Thank you all at Garforth Dentist for the excellent service, friendly reception and making everything good somewhere (Dentist) most people don’t like going too!! Thank you and well done. Having completed my Boutique Whitening 3 week course, I had my update appointment as to it had gone today (24th May 2022) and I was very impressed with the results and so was Clifford (my treatment Dentist) so much so he took photos so he has before and after. They also don’t try and add on extras or make you have what you don’t need. I've been coming to this dentist for years. It's all been modernised since it changed owners/names. A choice of services now available other than dentistry. Was advised of a new dentist when the change happened who was thorough and professional. Last time I went I had a different dentist who also is very good but I was a bit surprised as no one had let me know of the change. After having a HUGE phobia of the dentist for many years and putting off going for some time I decided I needed to tackle this head on to prevent problems later down the line. I got in touch and everything about the monthly plan was explained well so opted for the 2 examinations and 4 cleans for £16pm. I told the receptionist about my phobia and they reassured me and also told the dentist. O have been to the dentist a few times now and have to say Jon, Magdalana and the team are amazing I can’t thank them enough…. Phobia has gone and I find myself even going for optional whitening now.

For over 30 years I travelled across to Horsforth but when Kippax Dental opened, and with restrictions still in place, I decided to go local. Instead of a stressful journey around the ring road, I can walk from home in a few minutes. The Surgery is friendly and the Dental Team highly competent & professional. As a ex Scrum Half most of my teeth aren’t my own and before switching I suffered post treatment pain that has made me a little apprehensive - Kippax Dental have been so empathetic and my treatments have been gentle and as pain free as anyone could expect for fillings and dental hygienist cleaning. It is unusual to be complemented on effective teeth brushing and this positive feedback has motivated me to be more diligent, it’s never too late to start brushing better!! Let me first say that I'm not a fan of dentists and that every visit is met with trepidation. Today I attended for some remedial work on a recent filling that had some sharp edges, causing it to scratch my tongue, causing pain. I was treated by a lady called Hannah who is the best dentist I have ever had by a country mile. She was reassuring and gentle throughout the procedure and I would recommend her to anyone, especially those who worry about such visits. She also gave sound advice about cleaning etc. I was given a checkup and a thorough cleaning also. I've requested my next appointment be with Hannah. 5 Star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This Practice has not been the same since the change from JS Wostenholme. Gone is the friendly first name terms from the Reception that was built over Years of attendance. The Dentists themselves have shown good care however I increasingly found the dental care piecemeal. Whilst I understand that Covid and restrictions caused difficulties. Follow up and check-ups were not as consistent as with Wostenholme. Check-ups and Clean became separate appointments. All my family were at one time Patients at this Surgery with me being the last. I'm now changing my Dentist as they have all done. My feedback would be to get to know your Patients and a friendly hello at least on meeting your Clients would go a long way.

Just finished my Invisalign treatment which I started in October 2019, I was due to finish March 2020 but due to the pandemic my Invisalign had to be extended. John Alker has been absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process, what impressed me the most was that he really cared about how I felt about my teeth and listened to everything I said.
