I had my teeth whitened at the surgery with the Enlighten system and am really pleased with the results. The process was simple, comfortable and I didn't experience any sensitivity. I have always been nervous about visiting the dentist and avoided seeing a dentist for several years before registering at Desford. Hanish and his team have always put me at ease during my appointments and I have recommended the surgery to my friends and neighbours.

I have recently used The Enlighten Evolution3 teeth whitening product as recommended by Mr Pabari at Desford and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Using the product nightly takes a bit of commitment and your gums can become quite sensitive. However, it is only a few weeks and the sensitivity quickly disappears once finished and there’s always the option to stop for a day or more if you need to. In a short time my teeth have gone several shades lighter making my smile look bright and healthy, it’s such a difference. I notice it every time I look in the mirror. It’s a massive confidence boost and I’m absolutely delighted with it. I’ll definitely keep it topped up. I was given great instructions on how to use it and it’s easier than you maybe think it will be. Would definitely recommend.

Have been with this dental practice since it opened. Great, friendly staff. The receptionists are always welcoming and if you ever feel nervous or unsure the dentists are always calm and reassuring. Had an injection to numb for a filling today. I was nervous about it and Hanish made me feel relaxed. Also, very grateful for their work throughout covid as many of my friends at other dental practices could not get face to face appointments and were struck off. This dental practice were there when I needed them.

Hanish and all other members of staff at Desford Dental Care have been considerate, welcoming and friendly since I joined the practice, and I would highly recommend to anyone (especially those who are nervous). After another dentist made me feel anxious (to the point of not booking a dentist appointment for a number of years) I did a lot of reading of reviews and websites to find a new dentist, and I can see why so many people left complimentary reviews of DDC! Hanish talked me through every step of the checkup, spoke to the dental nurses with complete respect and consulted me on different options available to me (all of which were absent at my previous dentist). She took time from her lunch to do this as they were very short staffed due to illness. Dr Hanish is clearly a very special Dentist who treats his patients with personal care, not often seen in todays constantly challenging society. For this care, I am eternally grateful Hanish, thankyou. Just before Christmas 2022, I visited the practice with a problem and was seen by Laura, and the personal care and approach shown by Hanish, seems to be a distinguishing quality shared by other dentists. The care I received from Laura before Christmas was exemplary and the care and empathy I received today on returning for an extraction was similarly extremely caring and comforting. It’s unusual to find a team that share a similar approach to patient care and well-being. I’ve been an NHS patient at Desford Dental Care for a few years now and always had a good experience there. During Covid my regular dentist moved on and, once treatments resumed, I was allocated to Saneeca Jain, a recent graduated from Birmingham University. Despite the early stage of her career Saneeca has provided exceptional dental treatment. In her work she shows great care and attention to detail combined with a clarity of explanation that inspires confidence in her treatment. She has excellent skills in using all the dental equipment and, when appropriate, she seeks the guidance of her colleagues. Her interactions with the dental assistants are precise and polite which ensures a comfortable environment for the patient in the chair. Saneeca is credit to her university and Desford Dental Care, which has supported her first year in practice. Well done! Best dental care I’ve had in 30 years!

I used to really dread going to the dentist and had previously had a bad experience but since having Ria she has made me feel a lot better about going! Was recently referred to Desford Dental Care after severe tooth pain. From the front of house team, dental nurses and dentists themselves I received friendly and professional treatment. All Covid related protocols are excellent and felt very reassured by them. It turned out I needed an extraction, which is actually the first type of dental work I've ever had. Despite being a bit nervous, Yussuff and the team did an excellent job explaining the procedure, risks etc. and thankfully were able to complete the procedure successfully without any issue. Fantastic dental practice. Great staff, and lovely surgery. I have spent the last four weeks transforming my smile with the help of Shilpa. She has done biocelar composites on four of my teeth and the results are amazing. I’ve also had a new wire retainer and plastic retainer and nothing has been a problem. A great dentist with a lovely welcoming atmosphere and very COVID safe, all measures have been taken to avoid you having contact with any other patient and you feel totally at ease, great organisation from you all.
