I hadn’t been to the dentist for years - due to my fear and anxiety from childhood dentistry experiences. However, from the moment I stepped through the door at Oakdale Dental I knew I would be OK. I received such a kind and friendly welcome from the reception staff I immediately felt more relaxed. They are just wonderful. My experiences with the Dentist, the Oral Surgeon and the Hygienist have all been amazing. They have all taken their time to listen to me and answered all my questions, they have explained everything as the treatment has progressed and made sure that I feel OK - I have experienced no pain at all. I have felt such relief and no longer have any anxiety about my appointments. They are incredible - I am so grateful. Every one of the team at Oakdale Dental have been so very Professional and my treatments have been of the very highest standard. Thank You All.

I have been coming to Oakdale for over 70 years, I feel that it is a very welcoming practice and have been able to see how it has changed over the years. I came for treatment to see Mark and I was so impressed by how I was treated and the denture that I was provided with. I was quite nervous about having a denture but all the staff at Oakdale made me feel so confident with having one that it feels normal now. Mark has been amazing all throughout making sure that I was comfortable and happy with everything that i was spoken to about. Oakdale Dental is an amazing practice and I couldn’t recommend it enough to anyone!

Best dental practice around. 100% recommend to everyone I speak to and anybody reading this. I had implants fitted over 5 months and done an excellent job on making my teeth look natural. Everything about the process was very easy, well laid out, detailed and they always found a space for me if I needed to change my appointment. Today I had an incredible day at the practice. I was greeted with a wonderful warm smile by Hannah M and Jordon. These two dental nurses are the very best in Leicester! They are very positive, helpful and they help to create lovely warm atmosphere at the practice. Hannah is very cool and calm and Jordon is highly intelligent and meticulous. Today, the dentist Neil, did an amazing job, he is a great credit to the practice. Although the weather was raining, the staff made it feel like sunshine! Had to find a dentist quickly after a tooth broke. I hadn’t been to a dentist in 30 years! Goodness me what a superb practice this is. Right from the first welcome by the lovely reception staff through to my consultation and subsequent treatments. Oakdale Dental Surgery has been wonderful. I was referred by my normal dentist to Oakdale for a tooth extraction and implant for a molar. The process has been really positive. Oakdale Dental I would give you 10 stars if I could. Absolutely amazing - I can not recommend you enough. My journey with Oakdale started in July when I decided I had enough of not being happy with my teeth and decided to look into getting the Hollywood smile I always wanted. I called a few dental practises in the area and they just didn’t understand what I wanted to achieve. Then a friend recommended Oakdale and I originally spoke to Hannah who understood exactly what I wanted and was so lovely. She booked me in with Josh who was able to talk me through my treatment plan to achieve my dream smile. My treatments included teeth whitening, composite bonding and two caps. The whole journey has changed my opinion about dentists - it was Hollywood service to go with my Hollywood smile. From private parking out front, friendly welcome when you arrive, beautiful waiting area that does not look like a dental surgery and a drink while you wait. Got my braces here and it was as good as it gets. Everyone is really nice and welcoming but also very professional. There's a lot of communication with the patient and any problems you have they'll sort it out ASAP even if that means an extra appointment or two. I would highly recommend Oakdale, especially if you are looking into implant treatment. Dr Alif and Hannah are amazing and have given me a permanent front tooth that matches the rest of my teeth. The fixed price for an implant means that there are no hidden extra costs and you don't have to worry if extra appointments are needed. It was a first visit for me and I was in considerable pain for the past few days despite antibiotics and pain killers. The staff were very friendly in the reception, booking of appointment was super quick. Megan was very professional and good with the digital panorama Xray. Getting a molar out is never easy due to the long roots more so if you are in pain but Dr Ketul Bagia was very patient at prising out the culprit tooth.Full Credit to him. He was simply Brilliant and sorry guys I won't change him for any of the other very good Dentists at Oakdale- He is the one for me. From a very satisfied patient.

I have been seen by Gurpal Hayre for some treatment since Jan/Feb and what an amazing dentist. So kind, welcoming , professional and so friendly. I haven’t ever had any trouble with my teeth but recently had some issues and he made me feel so much at ease and the girls there are so friendly too. Oakdale Dental is a truly amazing dental clinic!! Because of the large amount of dental work I needed doing, I visited 5 clinics in total for consultations - but it was a very easy decision to choose Oakdale once I’d met the team there. I had severely bad teeth due to years of grinding them in my sleep, and there was also a considerable amount of root damage and decay. So I had a full smile reconstruction, including an implant and 3 root canals, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. It was also pain free. I would recommend Oakdale to anyone who’s looking at having extensive and complicated dental treatment. The staff at the clinic are all very nice people, and Dr Alif Moosajee was always available to talk to if I had any questions or concerns. My wonderful new smile Having suffered through 1970s childhood dental work of traumatic extractions and ineffective braces, I stayed with the same dental practice for the next 40 years but only had essential fillings. Although I had a fractured molar, large areas of black decay at the gum line on my front teeth and worsening tooth misalignment, I avoided major treatment because of bad childhood memories. I realised I needed a change, so chose Oakdale Dental based on their amazing reviews and, although I was verging on a panic attack on my first visit, I was quickly put at ease by the friendly, professional staff and the calm ambience. My initial consultations with Josh developed a treatment plan, and 18 months on I have now had 2 crowns, large amalgam fillings replaced, major Invisalign straightening, and cosmetic work to remove the gumline decay discolouration and reshape my smile. All aspects of Oakdale – clinic, staff, technology, processes, patient care – are so far removed from my previous bad experiences that going to the dentist is now stress-free and almost pleasurable. And I never expected to say that! Considering the crookedness and state of the teeth that Josh had to work with, I’m quite frankly amazed at the result - which exceeded my expectations by a mile - and I’m very grateful to him for his skill and attention to detail, and for helping me overcome my ‘dentist issues’ so I had the courage to have the work done. I visited for a hygienist appointment with Neil, who was extremely thorough in explaining everything to me and giving me plenty of advice and information. I was referred to Oakdale by my dentist who didn’t have the facilities or expertise to do what I needed. When my lovely dentist retired I registered with Oakdale. Everything about them is excellent from the communication systems which are tech based so effective for adding to calendar on my phone to the personal fast responses when I recently thought I’d got my dates wrong in my calendar. I’m middle aged so my teeth needed help! I’ve had lots of dental work done with them now and I’ve been given advice and options regarding payment and procedures which is clear and my teeth ‘feel’ and look much better! I recommended them to my MiL who had chemotherapy which made her teeth look stained and grubby. She thought she might need veneers but instead had the most extraordinary clean up which improved her appearance so much she started smiling with her teeth again.

I joined mid treatment for Invisalign after terrible experience from my previous dental practice which has now closed down altogether. Josh helped with completing my treatment and I finally have the perfect smile! I’ve also had teeth whitening, and am in the process of having composite bonding. A little bit hesitant taking our 4 year old to the dentist for the first time as he had toothache, but we need'nt of worried. For starters the practice was easy to find, well identifiable and ample car parking space. The practice had their own take on covid restrictions which was nice to see in practice for every customer. The staff at the practice are so welcoming, all well dressed and made us feel very comfortable. They were especially nice to our little un and he basically bonded with them immediatley. They took little un through the practice which was very nicely decorated, having fun with him all the way to the doctors room. The room was really nice and it felt more mayfair than your usual practice. The dentist Mr Patel was quite undeniably the best man for the job. My wife commented alot about his natural behaviour with our kid, making him feel totally at ease. Our little un jumped straight into the seat and the doctor just waved his magic wand and all was done in a matter of minutes. Personally i think the doctor Mr Patel has extremely good skills to set any child at ease. Our lad could not have been any more happier and to now has not stopped singing his head off. Well done Oakdale practice and a big thank you to Dr Patel and his young assistant who made our sons first dental trip seem more like a trip to disneyland. I would recomend this practice to any mother and father who had any doubts about dentist practices as this has been my most favourite one, and will definatly become our only and last one.

I had to have 4 root canals one of which was a front tooth in desperate need of whitening as it was five shades darker than the ones next to it. Just as most people who need to have root canals, I was postponing the daunting treatment and living with pain (and the shame a dark front tooth brings), but I eventually built up the courage to get it all sorted and was lucky to find Oakdale dental. I hated my teeth for many years. But was told by many cosmetic dentists, that with my bite it would be impossible to apply veneers or crowns. The only possible way would be a brace. To straighten my teeth and jaw then it would possible. I tried them, hated them and was no better off. Then I came to see Al at Oakdale Dental, he told me there were 2 options. Option 1 being the brace. Option 2 he thought he could design some specially made crowns that would fit my bite!! I went for option 2.! So now I sit here in the waiting room just finishing off my bottom teeth. The tops are done. The bottoms nearly and all I can say is FANTASTIC. This place is the ritz of all dentists. From the staff, the nurses and the dentists. They are top class. Friendly, helpful, professional this place is like a well-bonded family. I’ve been coming and going from this place for nearly 10 months, and not once have I seen any problems or upset. Just helpful smiling faces and that’s it. The place its self is a very plush establishment. Good interior design. Jo Malone fragrances scent the air. Music helps you relax and drinks are always offered. Like we say ’you get what you pay for’ and this is quality service with a smile. Thank you all at Oakdale for always welcoming me and being so helpful. I visited Oakdale Dental following the revamp and takeover by the new principle dentist and what a change ! The whole place has had a refurbishment with newly kitted out surgeries and the latest technology. They even have an instant crown milling machine ! Few weeks ago I had my full dental review by Dr Moosajee at Oakdale Dental. It was great to visit a practice which was very decent, with very efficient reception & dental support staff and equipped with the state of the art machines & equipments. I had a very thorough examination and x-ray assessments by Dr Moosajee, who then very clearly explained his findings & treatment options to me, very patiently answering all my queries. I went back a couple of weeks later for extraction of a wisdom tooth when Dr Moosajee first of all explained the procedure very clearly to me and then performed an excellent painless dental extraction. Having been a Consultant Anaesthetist myself for last many years, I was pleasantly surprised by the minimal discomfort during the actual injections of local anaesthetic and then the excellent effect of the anaesthetic which made me feel only the light tugging on the soft tissue of my cheek and nothing else at all, before Dr Moosajee showed me my tooth in his forceps. I didn't feel any pain or tugging at the tooth at all. I followed the post extraction instructions given to me, needing only couple of doses of ibuprofen over the next day or so and made an excellent recovery. Overall I had an excellent experience at Oakdale dental and would strongly recommend them to my near and dear ones.

What can I say about oakdale - Fantastic! My teeth were in a pretty bad state and I really didn't like smiling with them, to the point were I would avoid as many photos as I could. Then along came josh, I had a few repair and get them right appointments, followed by some whitening and then finally onto veneers on my front teeth, I've definitely spent a fair bit of time in the chair, But the results are fantastic, I have definitely got my smile back! Josh and the team have always kept me aware of what was going on and why it was happening, and what could be done to make my teeth better. They have always made me feel relaxed and at ease, always pausing during the work to ask if I was ok. Now I have a amazing smile, I love it and don't feel awkward anymore with showing my teeth anymore! My boys are also both with oakdale too, My eldest has recently had to have teeth removed to have braces fitted, he was totally relaxed and two massive teeth were removed! I cannot thank them enough for the work they do! Being so good with me and my boys - oh and they are definitely not scared of the dentist. I am totally impressed with this dental practise. After my first consultation with Bilal he convinced me that he could save a tooth that my previous dentist had suggested needed to be extracted. He explained the plan of action and completely put me at ease. I had a root canal filling and will eventually have a cap fitted. While I have no issues with the professionalism of any of the staff at the practice, they are always helpful & friendly, my perception is that since the change in ownership there has been a shift of focus from routine dental healthcare towards the (more profitable) aesthetic treatments. I already pay privately through a dental plan but have noticed they like to promote a sales opportunity. I also don't see the point in television screens mounted in the ceilings. You can't watch or listen while being treated & personally I wouldn't choose to anyway.
