Lincoln Orthodontics treated me for about 2 years with fixed braces. Every step of the way they were supportive and explained everything I needed to know. In the end I now have a smile I am happy with. They have a couple small touches which really make you feel like it's a human business like when they give you a little bottle of champagne to celebrate the end of your treatment. It costs them a bit extra per customer but they do it because they care about your experience.

I went to Lincoln Orthodontics to receive Invisaligns. I had braces as a teenager, however I didn't wear my retainers enough and my teeth returned to their previous state. From my very first treatment at Lincoln Orthodontics to the end, they made everything so easy and effortless. I underwent some orthodontic alignment work here. It was a long process that ran in conjunction with another dentist (I'd lost my front teeth and needed implants) the staff and the level of work at Lincoln orthodontic was next to none and I will always recommend them. I have always hated my smile. I had braces when I was young but my teeth moved and got worse and worse over the years. I was embarrassed to smile or eat in front of people. I really wanted to get them sorted once and for all before I turned 40. I had an initial consultation with Lincoln Orthodontics and decided to go for it after speaking to Dr Clare. He gave me a clear plan and I was so impressed with the practice. I chose Invisalign as I really wanted the treatment to be as discreet as possible and it was definitely the right choice for me. The aligners were comfortable and I didn’t feel self conscious wearing them. It has worked quicker than I expected and I just feel so much better about my teeth now. I’m so pleased I’ve done it! Got my braces at 50 to correct a lifetime's worth of dental problems. I has misaligned teeth rubbing against each other, so they were causing wear and making it difficult for me to keep them clean. The team at Lincoln Orthodontics has been so supportive throughout the whole 18 months of treatment. They explained everything clearly, and told me beforehand how the first few days with braces and retainers would feel awful, but I would soon hardly notice them. They were absolutely right! I had several minor breakages in my retainers, and the brackets on my teeth popped off a couple of times. Even during lockdown, the team booked me in quickly, and repaired problems within a couple of days. When I thought that the teeth weren't quite aligning properly, they took corrective action as soon as they could. My braces were re-wired and tightened at regular intervals, and I always felt the team was sharing what was happening throughout the treatment. My treatment finished a couple of weeks ago, and I had the braces removed. Now I'm wearing retainers, but only at night, and my teeth look fantastic. They are so much straighter and better aligned than they were at the start of 2020, and so much easier to clean. I can hardly believe they're the same teeth! No more hiding my smile from people. Thank you!

What an amazing experience from start to finish. I'm coming to the end of my journey which involved having four teeth removed and ceramic braces put on. After wearing braces and a retainer for over 15 years, I still found my teeth were shifting slightly and the braces were wearing out quicker and quicker every time I had them replaced (due to grinding teeth in my sleep). I found Lincoln Orthodontics online and, if I'm being perfectly honest, usually there is something for me to find fault with - but not here. From the initial phone-call, to the consultation, to the visit, I've been really impressed by how professional and absolutely effortless everything they do seems to be. I now have three sets of hard-wearing Vivera retainers and a bonded retainer to give me complete peace of mind; for the first time in years, I don't worry about my teeth in the slightest! Exceptional treatment from a highly professional and friendly team. As an adult aged 27 I was advised by a dentist about the combination of my bight and teeth grinding habit causing damage to my front teeth, I decided to seek orthodontic treatment to correct this bight issue and also improve the appearance of my teeth. The initial consultation was very helpful, with a thorough/detailed examination of my teeth, questions about what I wanted to get from my orthodontic. From this they were able to give me a set of options for various treatments and corrections, including brace types (with time estimates), costs/finance options and results. The initial assessment found an abscess beneath a tooth which had been badly repaired and subsequently died after a sports injury (i was completely unaware of this), and Dr Matthew Clare came up with an ingenious solution of removing the tooth to make room for the orthodontic treatment, and then moving other teeth into the gap. This saved me a fortune getting bridges etc.. at the dentist and the final result looks superb. Throughout the subsequent 3 years I spent with the practice going through the treatment, I have to say the standard was exceptional at every point. The process was clear, everything that was done was explained clearly in advance, my questions were always answered and little adaptions made to my treatment from my feedback and to fit in with my lifestyle (including 4 months working overseas in the middle). I enjoyed every visit to the practice and got to know the staff well over the period. I now sit here happily with a smile better than I could have ever hoped for. And will remain cared for by the team for the following few years with regular checks on my retainers etc... All in all I am delighted I chose Lincoln Orthodontics and would highly recommend them to all. An exceptional team of people delivering an exceptional service. Many thanks.

I went for a consultation and decided to go ahead with a wire brace to correct the alignment of my teeth. The service and professionalism was excellent. All the staff from reception to Dr. Clare were brilliant. Always friendly and they answered all my questions along the way (mostly "How long until my brace comes off?"). The results of the treatment are fantastic. I'm very happy with my teeth now as they are really perfectly aligned and straight. I kept on checking them for days in the mirror and I'm still really chuffed every time I see them in a photo! Everyone who has seen me since I have had the braces off have said how good my teeth look. I can't recommend Lincoln Orthodontics highly enough. The treatment can feel slow and sometimes a bit sore but it's so worth the discomfort and cost.

Had a brilliant Airflow & scale and polish performed yesterday by Beth (the lovely dental therapist!) Service was really seamless, all the staff were very friendly, and Beth provided some great advice on looking after my teeth - and made me really feel at ease. The surgery was spotlessly clean and I felt very safe visiting with all the necessary social distancing guidelines, signs and staff in PPE equipment. Would definitely recommend this service with Beth - my teeth have never looked so clean and the procedure was painless! Fantastic overall service and I look forward to coming back in the future.

So, I am now just over 5 months in to my Invisalign journey and a couple of weeks ago I went for my first check up and some teeth smoothing and the level of care I received was excellent! Everything is going well and luckily I had taken a ‘day 1’ picture and a month 5 picture and the difference already is amazing! I still have around 9 months to go and whilst it may seem a chore to keep them in for 22 hours a day, I have stuck to it and the results already are well worth it! The whole team at Lincoln Orthodontics are so caring and I couldn’t feel like I am in safer hands. Just really wish I had had the courage to do this years ago! Last week, for the first time in years, I actually had a picture taken of me smiling with teeth on show (rather than what normally comes across as pouting because I have always been to ashamed to show my teeth!). So confidence is already improving and cannot wait until I finally get the teeth I have always wanted. Thank you Lincoln Orthodontics and for still taking great care of your patients despite the current situation we have all found ourselves in! I have always been embarrassed about my teeth after being failed by dentists as a child. As an adult I have always hidden my teeth when smiling, keeping my mouth closed in photos. For a very long time I’ve been intending to leave Lincoln Orthodontist a review but I wanted to take my time writing it as they deserve nothing less. I started my Invisalign journey at the start of 2017 and my only regret is I didn’t do it earlier. I was under the care of Dr Clare who is a dream - he took his time to listen to my concerns, adapt my treatment according to some of my fears and to adjust timescales so I could be brace-free for my wedding at the end of the year. Since getting the braces removed I cannot stop smiling 😊 If anyone reading this post is considering treatment I would tell you to go for it. For me I did not find the braces uncomfortable in any way. When you first get them fitted it does take a few days to mater eating. My number one bit of advice is to ensure you keep them clean, buy the little TePe brushes and use them after each meal and before you sleep. I have permanent retainers fitted to the back of my teeth, which are not really notable after a few days of having them fitted. The clear removable retainers that you wear constantly for the first two weeks and at night long term are easy to live with and not uncomfortable. If you are considering orthodontics treatment and do decide to take the plunge I can honestly say you will not be disappointed. Thank you Lincoln Orthodontics 😁😊

I’ve just had my brace removed this week and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I had fixed metal braces when i was younger but my teeth had since moved and overlapped. At my initial consultation i was talked through all the options available to me and I opted for the Incognito lingual brace, fixed to the inside of my teeth. I was conscious about wearing a brace as an adult, so this was the best option for me. It was completely hidden. No one knew i had the brace on unless i told them. I had it fitted in March and even after the first couple of months i noticed a significant difference in the alignment of my teeth. The only issue i had, which i was told about upfront, was that i might have a slight lisp. I did, but the majority my friends said they didn’t notice. Most of my appointments were with either Dr Clare or Sarah, and they both fully explained every step throughout the process. Yes, it is an expensive treatment, but it really is worth it. I get lots of compliments about my smile now and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Lincoln Orthodontics to others. If you’ve been considering it for a long time, like i did, just go for the initial consultation and see what your options are!

This week I've nearly reached the end of my orthodontic treatment. I wore Invisalign braces on both the top and bottom teeth. I had been self-conscious about my smile and when I found out that I could have treatment without wearing the traditional 'train track' braces, I jumped at the chance. There is far, far more to Orthodontics than just “moving teeth”! If you are reading this, chances are you are considering orthodontics for yourself or maybe a close member of your family? In which case, my experience, as a client currently part way through a treatment plan, may be of interest to you. Fom the very first telephone contact that I made, and ever since, I have been ‘blown away’ by how professional, kind and helpful every team member is who works there. I call it a team as that’s exactly how they seem to operate - as a cohesive group of people who are working together, all committed to giving their absolute best and helping you. Dr Matt Clare heads up the practice, and he just oozes with a caring personality and passion for getting the best outcomes for all his patients. He’s a brilliantly talented and knowledgeable individual, well organised, thoughtful and, above all else, listens carefully to any questions you may have or things you wish to discuss. My actual treatment started around 4 months ago when they fitted a small appliance to help move a couple of my teeth to create a bit more space. It’s been a really easy process, with no pain. Sarah Llewellin is the highly skilled Orthodontic Therapist who fitted it and monitors my progress. Her attention to detail is first class, and she just oozes with positive enthusiasm that is so infectious! In a few weeks’ time it is hoped I will be moving on to the next phase of treatment. However, it’s all about long term outcomes and the clinic only progresses to the next stage when it is sure that it is optimally the best time to do so. T In a way, what you are entering into is a partnership; you are placing your total trust in the team, but they in turn need you commit to the process, too - as it naturally involves some important daily tasks over and above your normal dental hygiene routines. As I say, though, it’s the effort by the whole team that sets this place apart. In this respect, those working “behind the scenes” are an equally important part of the team. Regardless of whether it’s administration, reception, or whoever, they are all “on point”. I must also mention the cleaning staff - as it’s blindingly obvious they, too, play a vital team role - particularly during COVID - in helping to keep the clinic spotlessly clean and operational. Regarding the cost, these are all explained in full at the outset, so there are no hidden surprises. The best bit for me right now? Well, I know it may sound really weird, but I actually look forward to each and every check-up at Lincoln Orthodontics, as I see it as an opportunity to get to learn what progress is being made with my treatment, and its just such a positive experience. One final thing; the clinic is located near the outskirts of the city, and the opening of the latest section of the by-pass means it’s now even easier to get to. Without any hesitation, I would recommend Lincoln Orthodontics.

I've had my brace on for just over a year now and the service I'm receiving at Lincoln orthodontics is fantastic. I've had no problems at all. I recently had laser treatment on my gums to extend the length of my front two teeth (as I grind them in my sleep). I was nervous and worried about this, but Dr Matthew Clare reassured me. And I'm so pleased I went ahead with this. My teeth have never looked so perfect and I've had no pain after the laser treatment at all. I followed the correct aftercare and was gentle when brushing my teeth. There was no bleeding or pain afterwards at all. My initial visit to the surgery was in 2015 to seek more information with regards to what options I had to straighten my teeth and the length of time the treatment would take as I was getting married in 2016. I decided to leave the treatment until after I got married due to needing as much of our savings for our wedding abroad. I revisited the surgery again in April 2018 and went ahead with the treatment on just my top arch. Dr. Clare and the team were extremely welcoming upon arrival and throughout every appointment. Very knowledgable and always welcomed any queries I had. On two of my appointments I had to bring my 1 year old daughter with me due to lack of childcare which was not an issue with the staff at all. On one of these occassions she was pretty unsettled so the receptionist came into the room and took her for a walk around the surgery. In my opinion, the staff make this surgery one of the best around. After 10.5months my braces have been removed and I’m now trying to learn how to smile with my teeth which I have never done before this week, I keep forgetting that I now have beautiful teeth. Before I went to Lincoln orthodontics I was always told I could never have braces because my teeth were too weak. By the end of my first consultation I was told that I could have braces I was really happy, but then I read the waiting list times and I felt like I was waiting an eternity. Of course I understand there are waiting lists through the nhs and everyone feels the same. It was coming up to my 18th birthday and my parents made the decision to go privately I was registered as a private patient whilst I was still 17 so it was a bit cheaper than if I waited until I was 18. I broke my braces several times on french stick and certain cereals but it was no problem to get an appointment to repair them the team understand that accidents happen. If you are in discomfort due to the wire the people at reception can suggest things to help and tools to keep your braces clean. I used to be terrified of the dentist but I felt really welcomed and comfortable at Lincoln orthodontics! I recently just finished my treatment which was 18 months. Some people kept asking if I have had enough of waiting and just want them off. I would say no I had to wait years to get my teeth sorted so a little while won't hurt. The team are lovely and do what they can to help you.

Dr Clare, Kerryl and team have been amazing, they are supportive, friendly, helpful and caring they really do put you at ease,t hey explain everything they do and the reasons why they are doing them. At 49 I had really crooked teeth but never did anything about them as people used to say they looked fine and that I wouldn't look right if I changed them. Everytime I saw a photograph of myself I hated it as all I would see was my crooked teeth, so last year I decided I needed to get them straightened. I spoke to my dentist about straightening my teeth and told him I did not want the traditional train track brace so he recommended Lincoln Orthodontics. I really didn't want to travel that far but I made an appointment with them to have a consultation for the following week and as soon as I walked in I was made to feel welcome. After going through my options I decided to go for Invisalign with top and bottom trays. I had 49 trays which I changed every week, I had a few attachments fitted which were very small and hardly noticeable well In fact nobody knew I was wearing a brace unless I told them. They never really impacted on my speech and I liked the fact i could see the movement with my teeth as i changed the trays. It has been One year which has gone so fast since I started Invisalign and this week I had my last tray and attatchments taken off and the results are really good(much better than I expected )I am so happy with the results and now have a lovely smile I feel confident with. I would like to say how absolutely thrilled my daughter is with her new smile. My daughter has Aspergers and 4 years ago her smile was something she hid with low self confidence. Dr Clare saw her when she was 8 and started her treatment straight away. From the moment she sat on the dentist chair everybody has been completely wonderful to her. The whole team from the lovely ladies on reception to the technicians and nurses to the orthodontists have taken care and spent time dealing with her extra issues and concerns. She had fixed braces, removable braces, twin block, fixed braces again this time with elastics and now her lifelong retainers but every single appointment was greeted with warm smiles and friendly manner. The technicians are amazing and are supported well by the helpful and knowledgable nurses. Every step of the way we felt cared for and included in the decision making. There were times when, due to her Aspergers, things were a bit tricky but everyone took a step back and reassessed what could be altered to make the situation easier. The whole process from start to finish was a daunting experience for my daughter but with the care and professionalism of all the staff we have achieved a perfect smile. Chosen as one of the few orthodontic practices that provided Incognito lingual braces. A very welcoming atmosphere which the team carried on for the duration of treatment, always remembering my name, where I am from and how things are going! I have always hated my teeth and for that reason I had always been an avid pouter when it came to smiling. I’d also cover my mouth when I laughed. It was debilitating. Went for a consultation which was truly an amazing exsperience i had the delight of Dr Clare who is just fantastic at what he does the reassurance he gave me the positive results we could achieve and as Lincoln Orthadontics only deal with orthadontics its there speciality service that they give & now i see why this place made it on the news with being the best to go for that perfect smile. i was retuned a few weeks later & i was extremly scared because i knew i needed work on cleaning my teeth with getting the prep ready for my braces & Beth the hygienist was the best ive ever been too no pain relief needed (normally i have to get numbed as sensative gums) she was exceptional so highly recommend her if your nerves are bad like mine she listened to me told me everything she was going to do & the appointment went pain free & smoothly then i had my braces fitted upper & lower teeth by Kerryl & nurse Shelley who were again so lovely kind , gentle and exsplained step by step what was happening and what i have to do to keep them clean etc.. On 2 of my appointments i was given goodies to help the cleaning process and wax in a cute little box . Honestly dont waste your time looking else where because this place outshines any of the ones i went to. The practise is extremly modern and working with the guidlines of covid-19 so you can rest assure that your safe. So fantastic service, extremly cheap compared to where i went before,friendly staff and staff are trained in just orthadontics and thats when you know you have the best working on your perfect smile. So its a win win for me and my only regret is that i didnt go their first. From the moment I walked into this practice, I knew I had made a good choice. The reception area is modern and welcoming. A tea/coffee machine, magazines and a tv are provided but most importantly the reception staff are so friendly and efficient which made me feel valued and put me at ease. The clinics are extremely clean, well organised and have screens/pictures on the ceilings. A great idea as it gives you something to focus on during your treatment. Anyway, enough about the appearance as it is Dr Matt Clare and his team that make this practice stand out from the rest. The first thing you notice is how well they all work together - one big, happy team, helping and supporting each other. The nurses are lovely, so friendly and caring, they all call you by your first name which is great as it is this attention to detail that matters. As for Dr Clare, one word describes him.........amazing! I have never come across a medical practitioner who is so patient focussed. All throughout your treatment, when you are in the clinics chair, he explains what he is doing before and during the procedure - what you can expect to feel/hear etc. This puts you at ease and helps you feel more relaxed. He also regularly asks if you have any concerns or questions. My specific case was more complex than usual but Dr Clare went beyond what I expected to try and achieve the required end result. He consulted with other orthodontists (internationally) as he had such determination to succeed. I cannot praise Dr Clare enough, he is the best of the best. My treatment ends very soon but I can honestly say I will miss my visits to this wonderful practice. A massive thank you to Dr Clare and his amazing team.

Lincoln Orthodentics are outstanding!!! From the very first consultation all the staff put you at ease and are so professional, their customer service is second to none. They get to know each patient and their particular smile journey and are always on hand to help and advise. As an adult making the decision to have braces was the best thing I ever did, it doesn’t matter what age you are if you’re thinking of doing it go for it!!! Yes it will cost but it’s worth every single penny, investing in yourself is something you should do if you are conscious of your teeth and are hiding your smile. I got my braces off one week ago and I am still in shock at how amazing my teeth look now, it’s given me so much confidence.
