My dentist Dr Nicholas McAuley was awesome. I am really afraid of dentists and I found the team from the reception, the dental nurse and Dr Nic amazing. I would totally recommend this clinic. It was my first time and I felt that I could rely on this clinic for future treatments as it’s patient. Thank you for looking after me so well and giving great advice.

Edit: After their response below, I was invited back to the clinic for a consultation with Dr Monika. She was very kind and apologised about the situation which I appreciate. The consultation went smoothly and she helped me with an issue I had. Overall after this consultation I would go back to the clinic and visit a hygienist instead as recommended by Dr Monika. Old: Do not recommend. I was looking forward to my appointment after reading some great reviews. However, it was quite frankly one of the worst dentist appointments I've ever hard. I paid £150 for cleaning, check up and x rays. The dentist put me laying proper down on the chair while she was cleaning my teeth which was very odd and of course led me to have water, saliva (and blood!!) sprayed all over my face, neck, hair and UP MY NOSE!!! It was incredibly odd and uncomfortable. Her hands were also wet and she was resting them on my face which was again incredibly odd not to mention physically uncomfortable which is something that had NEVER happened with any dentist. My teeth were not 100% cleaned either which is just ridiculous for such an expensive visit. The X rays were awful using an old machine that cut my mouth. When I told her it was cutting me she didn't seem to care and just told me to hold still. Overall it was awful and I feel ripped off. Completely. At the end they even wanted to charge me £160 but thankfully I checked before swiping my card. I'm still quite upset about it.

Dr Laczna is a very good dentist, proven so due to the skill and patience needed for this extraction, which was not in very good condition. I have always been very self conscious of my teeth, from a very young age. I had visited two different Invisalign/braces dental practices prior to finding Monika, and my god what a difference she has made in my life! Both Monika and Brenda were very patient and kind from the beginning of the process, explaining what each step would consist of along the way. Monika was very honest in regards to what results could be achieved and how long it would take, and what I appreciated was that she didn't tell me what I wanted to hear, but was realistic in her approach to ensure that I was not oversold from the beginning. This treatment has completely transformed my facial structure, my bite and my confidence in life. I have been suffering from severe migraines and face burning sensations for months and eventually atrocious toothaches. My husband had to make me an emergency appointment for a tooth extraction when I realised my tooth could be the cause for all the pain. Got a same day appointment as there was a cancellation and both the receptionist and Dr Monika welcomed me so warmly, I felt no hesitation in trusting them with my tooth and wellbeing. Blue Light Dental was excellent in everyl aspects of care. I got an appointment very quickly for my urgent dental problem. Dr Monica Laczna was very nice, assessed my problem quickly, took x-rays , prescribed antibiotics and advised me what to do next. The surgery was very clean and fully observed COVID-19 rules, with PPE, hand sanitizer and with only one patient in the surgery at a time. I would highly recommend this surgery to everyone.

Monika is an artist - she gave me a new smile with a veneer and a crown that look like my own teeth. I am very grateful. Moreover, when I first came for a check up (after years of being absent from any dentist), I was concerned that lots of work would need doing. I've been going to the dentist regularly for as long as I can remember. Doing everything from fillings, root canals and extractions. I must say, this is by far the finest dental clinic I've ever been to. I first found myself at Blue Light after one or my front teeth fractured and I was in desperate need of an emergency appointment. I phoned up and Brenda and Monika made the time to see me in the evening after they were ready to close up for the day. They took the time to comfort me and deal with my pretty unique situation, putting together both a short and long term plan which worked for me and honestly made me feel a whole lot better about the whole thing. Very professional and friendly staff! Had my 1st consultation with Dr. Monica and we've done the cleaning session on the same day, which was fantastic. She takes her time to explain everything she's doing and to correct us on doing the best thing for our oral hygiene. I had my teeth treatment done wonderfully. All fixed and straightened up nicely with permanent retainers fitted in, all accomplished in a very short period of time. The staff members were very sweet. Waiting time is not long. I was there for general hygiene, the dentist spent 20 minutes on my teeth, removed majority of stains and cavity, however, it wasn’t a deep clean and I feel like my teeth could have used 10 more minutes of cleaning to remove all the stains. Had my lower right wisdom tooth extracted a few days ago and I am very happy to say that I am recovering well. When I called the clinic, the receptionist and Monika, one of the dentists were very accomodating and gave me the earliest appointment possible. I stumbled across Blue Light while walking past, and popped in to see if they would be able to internally bleach a tooth that had become discoloured following a root canal. Monica gave me a consultation then and there, and we started the treatment the following week. I was so impressed by the service I received I decided to switch from my NHS dentist. Monica gave me in depth advice on how to improve my oral hygiene, and a very thorough scale and polish completely resolved problems I had been having with my gums. The whitening was a complete success, and has greatly improved my self esteem as my teeth are now all the same colour. I can't praise Monica and her assistant enough (sorry I forgot her Name), absolutely amazing experience and I shall look forward to going to my next appointment without fear. The injection didn't hurt and the procedure was quick and painless and Monica saved the nerve and built me a composite tooth that looked just like the old one did, I couldn't believe it had all been done and over with in this one session and the price was fantastic. I would highly recommend Monica and Blue Light! I was a patient at the clinic for treatment to straiten my seriously crowded teeth. I was advised by another dentist that the only way to straiten my teeth would be to remove some teeth but Monica was able to fix my teeth perfectly without taking out any of my teeth. I absolutely love it - Dr Monika Laczna is the best dentist I've ever had and I've had many (I'm nearly 40 so had several of them in my life). I can't believe I say it but I could go there every day. No pain (!) no stress and the filings are very good quality and the place feels top class, with all modern equipment you can imagine. Monica has been doing my teeth now for the last 7 years or so. She started fixing my teeth at another dentist closer to where I live and when she moved to open her own practice even though it was much further for me to travel to it was a no brainer to move to her new surgery and keep seeing her. Always very attentive and honest. I recently had 2 (white) fillings at the top of my mouth and honestly you cannot tell at all. I was in and out within 90 minutes. I also had a clean on this visit which was great as I have had cleans from other places which have left me in pain. Point being I would definitely recommend the Blue Light Dental Clinic

I can strongly recommend all services at Blue Light delivered to a very high standard but I'm especially impressed with their very powerful laser. I was reluctant at first to try laser treatment to tackle my ongoing problems with rosacea as I simply did not believe it may have any effect. To my surprise it had and only after one treatment!
