I cannot recommend Jo enough, and her nurse Mary, if you're looking for a hygienist. She truly is wonderful. She goes through everything she is doing, she is patient, she listens, she makes sure you feel comfortable and she is very good fun. I even admitted my last check-up was pleasant, and that says a lot for me :) I moved many times in the past 2 decades and I have never felt happier than with Brecknock dental services. My dentist, Aycha, is also excellent.

I've been going to Brecknock Dental for many, many years, and the staff are incredibly friendly, and the dental experience is the best you can expect. I have attended Brecknock dental for the past 3 years and have nothing but great things to say! I finished my Invisalign treatment with Dr Maroo & Nurse Fran today. Throughout the process they were hugely supportive, answering the million questions I have and always finding time to squeeze me into their hectic schedules around my working hours. The most recent time I came for a treatment I had Dr Evie and nurse Bina do my treatment and Evie made me feel so comfortable. Anything she was about to do next she informed me. I am happy to leave a review for Dr Evie & Nurse Keyla. It was a shock to see the end result of the extensive work. I found it hard to believe the colour of the dentures matched my existing teeth; making the overall appearance faultless and natural. The work was carried out with kindness and consideration, so I did not feel any pain. The dentures need to be monitored for minor adjustments, as do my existing teeth. I had several extractions which has meant alterations to my gums during healing. Fortunately, Brecknock Dental is my local dentist. I felt confident, I would get an honest appraisal of work needed, and it would be carried out safely.

The treatment was kind of ok I guess. Dr Shah the implantation expert was quite friendly and amiable. So was the lady dentist who did my periodontal treatment. But what really annoyed me was this receptionist who at an earlier appointment, started tittering and giggling when she was taking my call. Found it really unprofessional and discourteous. And all the time, she wouldn't even look at you in the eye. Always bent over looking at the computer screen.. Btw I was a private paying, not an NHS patient.

After experiencing poor service and arrogant attitudes from two other local dentists, I registered with Brecknock Dental, and what a refreshing change that has been! My dentist, Dr Evie and her Nurse Keyla are absolutely lovely, and a world of difference away from my previous experiences. I am an extremely nervous patient and I had to go for a tooth extraction under sedation. Dr Evie and nurse Kayla were fantastic. Dr Evie took the time to meet with me beforehand and answer any of my questions and talk me through the procedure. They were both extremely patient and gentle, and I did not feel a thing during the extraction and have zero pain! Hopefully I won't need another extraction but for any major dental works I will definitely be going back to Dr Evie and nurse Kayla!

I had a number of teeth issues from cavity to cracked filling. I saw Neil who was able to fix me up. Neil has a very light touch and I didn’t feel any pain at all even when he injected me with local anaesthesia. He was also able to refer me to excellent external consultants I needed. Only downside is it took a while to see him because of lack of available appointments but he is great so I would definitely recommend to see him. Joanna was also amazing when she cleaned my teeth and so lovely to be treated by. Highly recommend them both. Candy, the receptionist is also extremely lovely. It’s a pleasure to be treated by the team. I’m so glad I found you guys in lockdown a year ago. Thank you.

I had continuous pain in my tooth for a while, it needed emergency treatment yesterday. When I arrived at the clinic Dr Evie was waiting for me at the reception. She introduced herself and walked me to the treatment room. I cannot say enough about how nice she was and how she took her time to explain my condition and options. Given that I have gag reflex, the she took her time and was super gentle with treatment. Dr Evie & Nurse Keyla provided a top notch treatment and I am extremely pleased with the way it was done. I would highly recommend the clinic in general and definitely Dr Evie in particular.

Where do I start? Dr Evie is amazing. Not only did she put me at ease when I had to get a new dentist as my practice had closed, but she identified that I grind my teeth at night and helped resolve that. Furthermore most recently I had a wisdom tooth flare up, which Dr Evie, went above and beyond whilst on her Christmas holiday providing remote triage via email to help me with the infection and be able to pick up antibiotics. Really above and beyond. And so appreciated. In addition to that, I've also been back for a hygienist appt with Dr Evie, which was fantastic. I was nervous about the service and treatment I would receive when I found Brecknock Dental. I could only register as a private patient but it was only £30 for a check up, including x-rays. This is far cheaper than any other dentist I have found in the Islington area. My fears were unfounded. On arrival I had to wait outside due to Covid restrictions but I was seen within minutes. I was invited in by Evie, my dentist, who was very warm and welcoming. The reception area was clean and modern, as was her treatment room. Most importantly, the service I received from Evie and her nurse Keyla, was exceptional. I hadn't been to a dentist for a while and was new to the area so was a little nervous as to what to expect. Evie was friendly, informative and extremely thorough. When I asked about cosmetic treatments she didn't try give me the hard sell. She was honest and open about the treatments they offered. I left feeling reassured and relaxed about my dental health. I would wholeheartedly recommend Brecknock Dental.

Thank you to Dr. Shah for making a nervous patient feel at ease .From visiting the surgery for my first appointment I knew I was in good hands.I had gas and air and was given a prescription for antibiotics for a back tooth that had been giving me problems for a while.Previously I had intravenous sedation twice and was reassured that gas and air would be safer.I did not feel the needles,the gum is healing nicely and I could not be more pleased. Really pleased with this dental practise. I was drawn by the good reviews and I've seen both Dr Evie and Dr Neil twice. First, I believe the quality is excellent: they both spotted I grind my teeth at night (and which became pretty obvious when considering the evidence) except no previous dentist I had been to spotted it (and I've been to a few around London). Second, I really appreciate the 'customer service'. Both have gone above and beyond what I normally expect, and I really appreciated being given a range of options with treatments and with price. I've never felt pressured into expensive treatments and I've never felt rushed - I can ask as many questions as I'd like. Finally, due to the pandemic I've had to go privately but the costs have been very reasonable.

Dr Neil Maroo has been my dentist at the start doing my fillings and hygienist treatments. I was very lucky to have him also as my Invisalign dentist too. I came in to this clinic for an emergency for my tooth which was infected and had a huge hole, after having a disastrous experience with my own dentist (dismissive, passive aggressive, poor expertise). Firstly, nurse Keyla greeted me at the door, and was very friendly, I was treated by Dr Evie, who might be the most cool and welcoming dentist I have ever met. She treated my tooth, took out the nerve and put a temporary filling very efficiently and in quite a short time! Prior to this, I spent months in agony because no one cared to treat it properly. I was amazed by her proficiency and she gave me hope that I can have a root canal done when my dentist was adamant that I coudn't. Dr evie even escorted me to the door after treatment. Small things go a long way, professionalism and respect shown for patients is clearly a priority at this clinic. I am very impressed with both Dr evie and nurse Keyla and I highly recommend being seen by them, you can't be disappointed!

BEST DENTIST IN LONDON!! There's absolutely nothing negative i can say about this place. It's clean, welcoming, the receptionists and all dentists are extremely polite, patient and friendly! I had a severe fear of the dentist after a traumatic experience i had when i was young and struggled to find any dentist who understood. I found this place and my dentist, Dr Ankeet Shah who was absolutely amazing! On my first appointment, he allowed my mum to sit in to ease me in and he made me feel so at ease that i had no issue going back on my own. I went from crying to laughing in the chair, in a matter of 1 appointment, not only is he an amazing, gentle dentist but is very calming and friendly. Every time i leave i'm shocked at how efficient my appointment went, i put my headphones in and after a while it's done! At the end of each appointment your given a breakdown of the work he did and is happy to answer any questions. Ankeet is very patient and takes his time, sometimes i feel like his only patient ! I've had two fillings (one of them was really close to nerves but she saved it from a root canal) and one root canal done by her and so far really happy about the outcome. I've decided to pay for private white fillings and as far as I compared with other places it's a reasonable price. I had a root canal tooth years ago and over months it has chipped away it was only now the filling was digging in and causing pain that I had to book an emergency app. Because I had left it so long there wasn’t much of the tooth left and it had to be removed. Straight away Dr Evie could see that I was worried but she did her best to calm me down and look after me even though I was shaking whilst having it removed she was beyond professional, calming and caring just sadly my nerves are not lol! However what I did not expect today was that she called me to check I was ok!! Never have I ever had I had a dentist take the time to call me as she saw the state I got myself into. Again Dr Evie was beyond amazing and professional I honestly cannot thank both her and her team so much. If you are local to this dentist I would 1000% advise you to go with them!

Called this practice 2 days ago as I saw that dentists were opening up again and I needed an appointment as I was getting sensitivity for a long while now. The lovely receptionist Debbie told me that although they were open due to covid they still had to phone patients first as they were limited with what the treatments they could offer. Dr Edie phoned me back with in 10 mins and although she couldn’t offer me an appointment at the practice she explained why and it made so much sense. She also gave me some really great advice to help with my sensitivity and I think I learnt more about looking after my teeth in that phone call than I have any other real life dentist appointment. She was so helpful, she even text me link to the products she recommends so I could find them in the supermarket easier. Once the virus is gone I will definitely be making an appointment at Brecknock Dental and asking for Dr Edie. Would highly recommend even if you can only get a phone appointment!

Wonderful experience attending this dentist. The staff are amazing - from the moment you call in to book your appointment up until you leave after treatment. Kande one of the receptionist did everything in her power to get me an appointment on the day I needed it for and when we found there was no availability she took my number and promised to call back if there were any cancellations which she did! Having to get your tooth removed is not the most welcomed procedure when going to the dentist, but Dr Evie and Nurse Bina couldn't have been more helpful and patient with me. I had the option of 2 procedures which Dr Evie explained and gave me the pros and cons of both procedures; I must have changed my mind about 5 times, but they were both incredibly patient and I opted for the removal of the tooth. Both Dr Evie and Nurse Bina were great! From making sure I was ok and comfortable during every step of taking out my tooth, to working together to make sure that the procedure went as smooth as possible, to ensure minimal pain/swelling when the anaesthesia wore off. Once the procedure was completed, I was given clear aftercare instructions and even received an email the following day to check that I was healing ok and not in too much pain... it's the little things! I'd definitely recommend Brecknock Dental and as well as the procedure going well, the receptionist and other members of the team were also very lovely! This was an emergency appointment, but I'd definitely go back if/when required.

I called Brecknock Dental to enquire if they were taking new NHS patients. She said I would have to wait but she would definitely ensure I was seen. That very afternoon root canal work commenced to relieve me of discomfort. Highly recommend. I've been coming to this dentist for quite a long time and even when I've moved house, I still come back because I know I'm getting the best treatment possible. It starts with the people at the front-desk. They remember you by name, even if you've not been for a while. Then when you're in the treatment room, you're greeted with a friendly smile and pleasant conversation. They don't try and make you spend more money than you need to. Often it can feel like dentists will tell you that you need a specific treatment because of how much it costs. Whenever I've been told I need treatment here, they always explain the options and even recommend how to get the treatment for cheaper (NHS vs private, for example). I see Dr Evie & Nurse Keyla and they always make me feel welcome.
