This dental surgery were able to help me when my regular dentist let me down. The staff member who answered the telephone when I initially called was excellent, had a friendly way about her and was able to book an appointment for me that was a week or so after the call which was fine for me. When I arrived at the surgery the staff were helpful and I was seen promptly. The dentist was absolutely superb. Again he was friendly and explained what treatment I needed clearly and I had a filling carried out and a clean. The price for the work was fair. The quality of his dental work was excellent as well and he was clearly a man with a lifetime of experience of performing quality dental work. After the clean and the filling my mouth actually felt lighter and my gums felt much more comfortable. Without exaggeration I really did feel better after the treatment! Amazing what a difference good dental treatment can make to your overall sense of well-being! The atmosphere in the surgery is very calm and peaceful too. If you need a good dentist and friendly, helpful staff then I would recommend this dental surgery without any hesitation whatsoever and I'm really grateful for what they did for me.

Best dentist I've ever been to, and my last one was in Harley Street treating minor European royalty (I think I was his only NHS patient!) and I only left because he retired. The entire team at Colgrove is friendly and welcoming, the premises are clean and well laid out. My dentist, Shehan, is wonderful. So gentle and caring and explains clearly what he is doing and why throughout the process. I can't recommend Colgrove too highly.

I have been with this dentist 29 years and would not like to go anywhere else. I am a needle phobic and Mr Blakendaal has been brilliant in helping with needles when they have been used in my treatments. Best care ever.

I have been a patient at this practice for a number of years and my experience yesterday reminded me again of just how good this practice is! Yesterday I went in feeling quite worried about my teeth as I have been grinding my teeth; I had chipped my tooth and had bleeding gums- so I was not feeling the most attractive! I actually came out smiling!! The experience really lifted me. My dentist is extremely professional and understanding; he takes the time to explain what my options are and is very patient in terms of showing me what to do in terms of caring for my teeth more. I always feel I am in safe hands and given the best treatment and advice: THANK YOU!

This is an excellent Dental Practice. I was surprised to read another review suggesting that they were "scamming" people! This is the exact opposite of the attitude of this practice. They are not money-orientated in any way at all. If you are an NHS patient, you are charged NHS rates -- unlike some dentists who will only do so much on NHS and insist you pay for private work for the rest. I have never waited more than 5 or 10 minutes in the waiting room on a scheduled visit. Even on occasion when I've gone in for urgent treatment without an appointment, I've been seen within about 15 minutes. And they've never charged me the NHS "emergency treatment" charge -- only for the work done. I have seen three of their dentists and they have all been skilled, professional and caring, explaining exactly what they are doing and fully discussing treatment options, especially if something might be not fully necessary -- and the choice has always been mine in such cases. No pressure. They also don't demand you pay up front where treatment will need several visits (again unlike some others). I would recommend highly (and have done so several times).
