I have been a patient of Crouch End Dental Care since 2019. I decided to have my two front veneers replaced in 2021 and I cannot recommend Dr Laith Abbas enough. I am very pleased with the results, it’s a massive improvement in terms of the shape and size compared to the ones I’ve had since I was young, and I also had my teeth whitened so they all look great. Throughout the whole process the care and attention to detail has been fantastic. There were plenty of chances to discuss options and have follow-up appointments, and I felt really well looked after. Thank you so much!

I became a patient of Dr Laith Abbas after I needed an emergency appointment on a Saturday as I had an abyss, he saw me within an hour of calling. After that I became a regular patient and have had a wisdom tooth extraction (which was painless by a specialist dentist), a fixed brace (by Dr Farooq), teeth whitening as well as many other treatments including crowns and fillings. I also saw Simon Critchlow for a complex root canal at their sister surgery, Woodbury Practice, and he was outstanding. I have always been a nervous patient but Laith and the rest of the dentists and specialists always make you feel at ease. I also like the warm welcome from Natalie when you arrive and depart. The surgery will make sure you get an appointment when you need it and will ensure you're never in pain when having treatments. This is best dentist I have ever had and will continue to see him for as long as possible.

I have been a patient of Dr Laith Abbas at Crouch Hall Dental Care for a couple of years now, and can’t speak highly enough of the care I have received. I have had quite a few dental treatments performed, and have found the environment to be calm, professional and friendly. Most recently, I was in agony with toothache over a bank holiday weekend and Dr Abbas and dental nurse Daiane came in to the practice on a Sunday to help me, and potentially this saved me having to have a root canal. This is a wonderful practice - thanks to the whole team!

I had my first dentist appointment at crouch end Hall Dental hall Today. First of all, they take covid19 restrictions very seriously, the waiting room is closed and patients are asked to wait outside, wearing a mask and clean their hands before entering the office. They also clean anything in contact with individual before and after each interaction (pen, card machin, door handles etc) . Second, from the reception at the door to the dentist itself, the experience was really perfect. The entire staff is smiling and friendly and very comforting. About the consultation itself. So, I am one of this person, who had not visited a dentist for way too long. I was anxious, reading the below reviews obviously helped, however I am now forever treated from my phobia since I met with the Dr Abbas. I could never have tought of a more perfect consultation. Very soft, explaining the entire process and the what, why, how, listening to my fears and comforting me. I wish I met a dentist like this earlier in my life! Thank you.

I found Crouch Hall Dental Care as I needed some emergency work on my bonded retainer (which I had before moving to London). They booked me in so quickly and I was very impressed with the lovely building, friendly staff and Covid19 practices. Dr Stavrinoudis is professional, friendly and amazingly efficient. I’ve been a patient at Crouch Hall dental care for around 3 years now. Dr Abbas is a fantastic dentist, very polite and has always been able to put me at ease as I was extremely anxious before seeing him. I have always had my treatment explained to me in full before going ahead and having needed extensive work I opted for the payment plan which was a very simple process. I would definitely recommend this practice. The staff are all really helpful and go the extra mile. The hygienist is wonderful, very gentle but thorough, well worth the money. Im of a certain age! I have experienced many dentists and dental practises. My dentist Dr Abbas (aka Dr Bill) at the Crouch Hall Dental Care is up there with the very best of them! The whole practice has a good feel to it and even under the strain of operating through the covid lockdowns they manage to be warm, welcoming and efficient. I have had a few visits to Crouch Hall Dental Care, after being well overdue a checkup and in need of some dental work I was incredibly anxious to get back to the dentist, I made an emergency appointment with Crouch Hall after experiencing toothache and managed to get an appointment the same day only an hour or so later. The reception staff are incredibly helpful and kind, and not to mention understanding! Natalie is always incredibly helpful with appointments, after I had some issues with my work rota and trying to fit myself in for an appointment, she was happy to help change my times and get me in for the most convenient time slots! Any time I have any questions they always get back to me so quickly. Now, I MUST mention that Dr Laith Abbas has been taking care of me and I could not rave about him enough! From the get go he put me at ease. I was very over emotional and anxious about visiting, and his calm and respectful approach deserves to be spoken about! He does not cut corners, and has appeared to given me the best possible care and options, avoiding any truly invasive treatment whilst still making sure my teeth are back to a tip top condition. He is efficient, fast and BRILLIANT at what he does. He explains everything incredibly clearly, answers any and all questions I might have, always makes sure that I have adequate pain relief. Today, I was again feeling a little nervous about the work I was having done, and I am used to listening to music to give me something to distract myself with. The radio wasn't working, and Dr Abbas could tell I was experiencing some anxiety. He stopped and played the radio broadcast from his phone and kept it on the side. This may sound like a small thing but I believe that it is a stellar example of going above and beyond to help all patients out. It meant the world to me and genuinely helped me to relax for the rest of my treatment. I leave feeling a lot more confident, calm and happy that my problems have been solved. Honestly, they tick all the boxes for me. I couldn't be happier with where I am now, and I know that when i am due my next 6 monthly checkup I will continue to be in very safe hands! I rarely write reviews but believe Crouch Hall Dental deserve credit for the quality service they’ve provided me. I went in knowing I would require extensive and expensive work but know it’s an important investment. I have been putting it off for two years as I didn’t feel confident with previous dentists. The girls at the front desk have been accommodating to book appointments around my work hours, given reminders and provided breakdowns of costs and payment options. Dr Abbas and his assistants have been so thorough. I’ve had three crowns, whitening and in the process of an implant and everything has been explained thoroughly, options of completing the work in one sitting or multiple sittings, aftercare check ins and options of types of crowns. The environment is calm, friendly, comfortable,relaxed yet professional at all times. Dr Abbas and assistants regularly check patient comfort and make you feel at ease. Quite simply, I’m extremely happy with the work done and the service provided and have already recommended to others.

I have to admit I hate going to the dentist and I have hated my teeth for a long time, becoming obsessed with viewing Hollywood smiles on Instagram and hoping that one day I would be happy to smile in photos. It took me a really long time to find a Dentist that I was happy with, but I can confidently say that now I have found Dr Abbas I won't be putting off my check ups. The whole surgery are really caring from the receptionists to nurses to dentists. Dr Abbas has always put me at ease and most importantly will not give you gratuitous treatment if you don't need it. I know there are lots of dentists out there who would have been happy to reconstruct my teeth with veneers, but Dr Abbas does what is right for the patient, not the bank balance. Would highly recommend.

Amazing team who truly went above and beyond to help me get me out of pain, fix my tooth to ensure I was ready for my extremely important meeting I had in 2 days time. Even though I was not a registered patient, not only did they emphasize with my situation when I called and saw me the same day, even though they were fully booked, but also the Receptionist, Nurse and Dr Laith Abbas (probably the most professional honest dentist I have ever met) went one step further and kept the practice open out of hours to ensure my teeth were perfect in time for my business meeting. I’d like to send my appreciation to the team over at Crouch hall dental care. Having not been to the dentist for many years following a bad experience at another local practice who had carried out unnecessary & poor work followed by a hefty bill and multiple visits. A friend recommend that I visit Crouch Hall Dental Care and I have to say I was immediately impressed, the receptionist was polite and professional assisting with the registration forms and put my mind at rest. Dr Abbas called me in within minutes after and took the time to listen to my concerns and after a quick inspection he explained what work would be required in depth and was even able to carry out the work on the same day. I could tell he had my best interests in mind and it was great to see someone who generally cared and had love for his profession and I felt that he had gone above and beyond. I don't ever leave reviews because I don't like to leave a digital trail, however Crouch Hall Dental Care deserve this. They have been utterly impeccable and invaluable. I'll explain why. I moved to Crouch End and chose this dentist based on the reviews. On my first appointment Dr Bilal Abbas pointed out that I have severe bruxism to the point of impacting my teeth with little dents. I'm 37 and no dentist ever realised this. They all thought I just had lots of sugar in my diet to cause the loss of enamel which was really annoying as I don't and they refused to believe me. So Dr Bilal Abbas had a mouth guard made for me and it changed my life. I stopped waking up with severe and debilitating hemiplegic migraines and started waking up feeling well rested. I'd previously tried 6 dentists (over the course of a year or two) who could perform root canal treatment on my back molar. None could as it was very complex and some even said to just remove the tooth. Dr Bilal Abbas didn't mess around and straight away recommended I get specialist treatment. I was referred to an impressively qualified endodontist. Unfortunately I had post-treatment complications. I called up CHDC and was asked to come in straight away and was very gratefully given antibiotics. Not even an hour later, Crouch Hall Dental Care had contacted the specialist and I was booked in with the endodontist for review work. I'm beyond grateful and entirely blown away by such decency, professionalism, and compassion. And to finish, the staff at reception are not just professional, but efficient, warm and caring. They do an amazing job of welcoming and managing patients which really makes it so much more relaxing to be at the dentists. I can't thank them enough. This is how dentists should be. Visited Dr. Abbas for an emergency and was very nervous. The treatment went beyond expectations and the welcome and professionalism amongst all colleagues at Crouch Hall dental practice were exceptional. I hope it is some time until my next visit, but I’m happy to know I will be at ease.

[this is a long-term review, which I will regularly update based on the care I received over time. Please read / skim in full to get a balanced picture.] I got off to a rocky start with this praxis and Dr. Laith Abbas, as I felt crudely put on the spot for my bad teeth on my first visit, and recommended a list of private treatments, which I was unwilling to afford (i.e. private hygienist treatments, special toothpaste (??), diet plans, etc). Dr Abbas also urged me to get a private crown at roughly 2-3x the cost of of an NHS crown, even though I felt strongly inclined towards the NHS crown, having gotten one previously on the same tooth on the left side, and being very happy with it. (In all fairness, Dr. Abbas was only exercising his medical judgement here when recommending the private crown, as he apparently wouldn't make more money from it than a NHS crown.) I originally gave this praxis a 1-star GMaps review, as (adding insult to injury) they mistakenly booked me into a private slot for the crown and had me decide - knowing it was an urgent problem - whether to do the crown privately after all or whether to wait another month to get a new NHS appointment. (I decided to wait, and they later apologised for putting me into this situation.) Dr. Abbas and I talked about these issues on my next visit (though much of the urgency seemed to stem from the 1-star review I left) and all things considered he was sincere and open to feedback. The care I received on that second visit was excellent as well, even though the scheduling of future appointments was again quite chaotic. [Response to 'Response from the owner'] It is true that I had to cancel an NHS appointment on the morning of the afternoon when it was supposed to happen, as I had an urgent work meeting come up unexpectedly. I regret that, but as opposed to the mistakes made prior to my 2nd visit by Crouch Hall Dental Care, I felt that it was also inevitable. PS: Laith, knowing that you read this, I hope you find the assessment hard but fair.

Iv been so scared of dentists since I can remember. Usually tears, shaking and pure panic. Dr Stavrinoudis has helped me to finally get over my fear. He's worth every penny for the emotional, psychological and of course the dental work that he has done for me over the past few months. If you are scared or just need fantastic dental work then please go and see him. (His secret injection skills are magic) Both of the lovely receptionists, the hygienist Claire and all of the dental nurses have made every visit a pleasure.
