I've just come from my second cleaning, and I really needed to appreciate how great the folks are that work here. Jessica has been my hygienist both times, and she's fantastic. She's funny, quick, professional, and compassionate; she's always explaining what she's doing at each step (which really helps my anxiety!). I've had Ellie and Julie as my nurses, and they ensure that you're taken care of, and create a great atmosphere in the room. And the reception team really is great. Rabina & Maggie are so courteous and quick, often double-checking information, and ensuring that I'm scheduled appropriately. Any time I had an issue, they resolved it quickly. Definitely an all-star crew who make you feel like they are all on your team to get your best dental health.

I’ve been coming here for a few years now, before the refurb. I’d say it’s the best dental surgery I know. Professional & efficient service as always, I highly recommend. I was petrified of the dentist since a young age, when I first came in for consultation with dentist Irene she assured me my teeth will get better, the check up was really good I felt no pain and she kept me calm the whole time as I suffer from anxiety. First and Foremost I would love to say that I have found my dentist. I first visited when the practice was Mc Lewis for composite bonding in 2018 I came back for more bonding which was done by the meticulous Dr Mihir Patel. I am divinely impressed to say the least by his craftsmanship and kind manner. I’m not one to leave reviews unless given a wow factor but the sense of family is prevalent in the whole team in particular nurse Julie, as well as the bubbly front of house Maggie and Rabina who always make me feel welcome and appreciated. Thank you for your service and skills I highly recommend if you want wow results alongside wow service.

A check-up is £62 (which includes an x-ray and you'll be paying a £50 deposit over the phone prior to your visit) and they do not open on Saturdays like MC Lewis did. Interesting call with the receptionist....must not have been a good morning. 😊

Many of the patients and potential patients reading this review will not know me but I’m Debbie the previous owner of M. C Lewis Dental Practice. I had worked at the Practice since 1977 and owned it since 2010. I have now retired and wanted to leave “my baby” in the best hands possible, someone with the same ethos, who would care for the Patients and Staff as well as I believe I have and could take the Practice forward. I feel that I have done this by leaving the Practice in the capable hands of the Dentists Hygienist (Jess) and Specialists that already work there and the new Principal Dentist Will Holmes and Dev Patel Dental Beauty Partners. I had a root canal done here and very very happy with the level of detail and care I had from the dentist, made sure that this was the right way forward and the best thing to do, we talked through all the options and outcomes, never had it so clear before. The staff in the reception were excellent in ensuring that COVID measures were complied with and I felt very comfortable as a result. The dentist (who’s name I forget) was extremely efficient and helpful, giving me lots of advice in addition to performing a thorough check up. He was both charming and kind as well. I then saw Jess the hygienist who was also excellent. She completed a thorough clean and polish (notwithstanding the very tricky circumstances) and was extremely professional and competent. The customer experience and service is exceptional! With so many small businesses forgetting the basics of care and service, it is so refreshing to deal with a practice who know what is expected, always handling their patients with such efficiency, compassion and professionalism. I genuinely enjoy and look forward to a session with their hygienist Jess. Who has a friendly and fun approach to a profession in which she is clearly very talented and knowledgable. If you're lucky you'll even get a little song! The owner clearly runs an incredibly tight ship which is reflected in the over all environment of the practice. Their COVID protocol is fantastic which brings an extra level of comfort during this difficult time. Nowhere else am I greeted the way I am when I arrive for an appointment. The team at MC Lewis is absolutely amazing! I have had numerous dental procedures done with Tim who has been my dentist for approx a year now and all of them have been fantastic. No scary or painful needles for local anesthetic as Tim uses the latest tech for numbing with a device he calls ‘the wand’. I also had a very complicated root canal done at this practice by Ed - zero pain and extremely good results during and after the procedure. I've always been treated kindly, efficiently and professionally at MC Lewis, not only by the reception staff but also by the dentist and hygienist. This is not easy to find in London so trust me, it's not something I take for granted. The prices are reasonable as well for a private dentist although if I'm being honest I must admit that I was slightly disappointed to learn that once pregnant I wouldn't even receive discounted services, even though as we all know, NHS treatment for pregnant ladies is 100% free. However, the fact that I've stayed with them throughout the pregnancy even though I could've been receiving free treatment elsewhere is simply a further testament to the quality of the practice. I have been going to Marion C Lewis since the early 90s. At that time, my teeth were in pretty good nick, so all I needed was a scale and polish. Ever since then, I have been complimented (globally) on my teeth, and still receive compliments, despite being a 40 *cough* something smoker! Without question I would say it is because of my regular visits to the hygienist at Marion C Lewis. Since the 90s I have only needed one deep clean to treat my gums, but other than that, haven't needed anything bar the standard 30 minute treatment. I have also received excellent advice with regards to pocketing and the right size interdentals to purchase. Here, it seems that the practice is keen to prevent further damage to teeth and gums, rather than just treat and charge. I would strongly recommend Marion C Lewis to anyone either living in or even just visiting London.
