I have quite a lot of anxiety around the dentist but I no longer feel that way now I have found Strand, even plucked up the courage to get my teeth straightened through them - again excellent service & so happy with the results. Thanks for making me feel comfortable & never being at all judgemental, you’ve made such a difference to me!
N. K.I've recently completed my SmileTru course at Strand on the Green Dental with Marc Hughes and I could not be happier with the results. I've been a patient here for years, travelling an hour for each visit (after moving house) as I don't want to switch dentist!
m.I've been very happy with the service I received from Dr K Hughes for many years but my last visit a couple of month ago felt rushed. I was booked in for 2 hours for a wisdom tooth extraction, one filling and one root canal. On the day dentist changed her mind and decided instead of root canal a simple filling will do. I was in and out within 45 minutes and the tooth that should have been treated for root canal is still bothering me. The treatment that day cost me a small fortune and even tough I didn't get the root canal I still ended up paying the quoted price (!!!). I'm now hesitant to go back as I would be charged for the full amount again and I've just lost trust in her.
Desperate to find another dentist but hearing other people's feedback in general the profession seems to come with the urge to exploit people

This week I was very nervous for an extraction - Kate capably and kindly kept me calm and had it out in a flash with zero discomfort. Have been many times; always impressed with their professionalism, genuine care, kindness and efficiency. Also absolutely brilliant with my young kids!!
E.I had been recommended to see Marc Hughes at strand on the green regarding my crossed over front teeth. Marc was excellent, patiently listening and explaining with the help of a 3D image on what could be achieved with the Smile Tru system. The tray system was easy to use and after 6 months I had perfectly straight teeth!

E. T.My children both have Kate Hughes as their dentist and she is outstanding- always so lovely with them and helping them understand how to brush- they love going to the dentist. My husband has Mark Harbottle as his dentist and he recently extracted a tooth that had been bothering him for 12 years but as he is so terrified of the dentist had not had it seen to. Mark really put him at ease and has not only removed the offending tooth but has also seemingly cured him of his dentist phobia! Really great dentists and a pleasure to visit.

A friend of mine recommended this practice as I needed to have dental implants of both my upper and lower jaw. It was a major job and after seeing other professionals I decided to choose them. I am thrilled I did !! Marc Hughes and David Furze did an excellent job ( still need to finish) , all went according to the estimate which was very reasonable and they supported me through phone calls , e mails and texts along the way. I also highly recommend Eva the hygienist , she's brilliant !! If you are looking for excellency then book an appointment with them !!

In this time I have had extensive treatments under the care of Dr Kate Hughes, including fillings and most recently a root canal and crown. On all of my visits, I have found the team to be friendly yet professional and I have always been put at ease knowing that I am in very capable hands! I have been treated by a number of different dentists over the years and from my experience it is very clear that Strand on the Green is a family run practice where standards are extremely high yet patients' well being is top priority.
B. W.i am a very nervous patient and really do not enjoy going to the dentist...especially for a Root Canal. My experience at Stand on the Green Dental was an extremely pleasant experience
Dr Lucinda Brown, was very sympathetic, kind and able to explain everything before she started the work. She made me feel at ease immediately. She didn't even tell me off for eating a toffee!
I would be a slight exaggeration to say the Root Canal was the best 90 minutes of my life but it wasn't far off. If you're scared of dentistry, this is the place for you. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you Lucinda.
O. S.Fantastic dentists - great value, friendly faces and quality service. I came to Strand on the Green Dentist for some corrective work on my teeth using Smile Tru. I did alot of research around the local area and Strand on the Green offer the most competitive prices for cosmetic work.
I received a 3-4 month course of treatment with Marc Hughes, he explained every part of the process so I knew exactly what to prepare for. I felt comfortable voicing any concerns when it comes to using the Smile Tru braces. The whole treatment was incredibly easy - Marc and the team were all fantastic throughout.
Marc is a true perfectionist when it comes to getting you a great smile - which is exactly what you want in a dentist! All corrections have now been made and my teeth look fantastic. So pleased with the result!

Started with that i needed to do some emergency work on a tooth that cracked in half. They were quick to get me an appointment and sorted out everything very fast and beautifully done. They are friendly, affordable prices and they give you a fast appointment in case of emergency.
