I went to Dickens Yard Dental as my previous dentist had a long time before I could get an appointment. Dr Sahil was able to see me within a week and based on that single appointment I have now switched permanently! He and his team are friendly, never seem to rush, always explain comprehensively exactly what was going on or options I had to choose from. Best dental experience I've ever had. genuinely. This is a great new practice and will have my business for many years.

My mom has been my dentist my whole life. Since I moved country it’s been a journey to find a dentist! Dr. Sahil was very friendly and very good at explaining everything. I really, really like the fact that his approach is to preserve the teeth rather than taking a more aggressive treatment. He said the kind of things my mom would said. Everyone at reception are also very kind so I’m definitely recommending this place to everyone!

This is a great place to go take care of your teeth. The team was very professional examining and providing with solutions by priority. All the people here were very gentle and kind to me. This included explaining everything nicely to our child and making it a fun and interesting experience for him. We've now visited Dickens Yard Dental twice in the past month after my 4 year old fell and damaged his front teeth (twice 😬). From entering the practice, seeing the dentist, Sahil, and checking out, the entire process was easy and stress-free, which made for a great first experience at the dentist for my son. Everyone at the practice, which includes Sahil's Mum and Aunt is very friendly and welcoming. The dentist is really good with children and put my son at ease. Of course, it helped that the TV was turned on and that the little one could choose his favorite program, but that also shows how everything has been well thought out. Sahil took the time needed to explain everything, discuss options, answer questions. We did not feel rushed at any point. Logistically, I personally appreciate how much flexibility there is in scheduling appointments, in the evenings or weekends, and that all fees to be paid upfront are clearly explained. Overall a great experience. PS: I recommend arriving 5min earlier, just to check out the amazing collection of plants in the reception area!

I cannot recommend this practice enough. I went to Dickens Yard Dental after seeing the positive reviews and being in need of an emergency appointment. I inquired using the online chat and very promptly received a phone call from Dr Sahil who booked me in for an appointment the following day. The pricing was very transparent with no hidden costs, and Sahil took so much time during my appointment to reassure me and talk me through the various treatment options. I did not expect such a thorough examination and not once did I feel rushed out the room or that I couldn’t ask more questions. On top of the professionalism and excellent patient care, the waiting room is beautifully presented with a stunning plant collection which makes the room feel very relaxing. The two lovely ladies at reception were absolutely wonderful and welcoming. I highly recommend Sahil if you’re searching for a new dental practice, he is an incredibly pleasant and conscientious healthcare professional and I look forward to returning (who on Earth can say that about their dentist!?)

I never enjoyed going to the dentist. It always seemed like a chore. The previous practice I went to was a little dated and the staff weren't always friendly. During my last visit, I was made to wait an extra 30 minutes for my appointment and the dentist didn't even acknowledge it. This year I decided it was time to find a new dentist. I looked online and came across Dickens Yard Dental. It didn't come across as your typical dental practice. In person, it's definitely not your average practice! At first, I didn't think I was in the right place. The reception area is modern, cool, and filled with plants. The receptionist was warm and welcoming and offered be a hot beverage. Noice! Dr Sahil is a brilliant dentist! He was on time and gave my teeth a thorough examination. He took several x-rays and even scanned my teeth. This was really cool. I could see my entire mouth on the TV! Dr Sahil walked me through the current state of my teeth, gave me some advice on how to improve my oral care routine, and discussed possible ways I could improve my smile. Dickens Yard Dental is a top quality, professional dental practice. If you're looking for a new dentist in Ealing or just want a better dental experience, I highly recommend Dr Sahil and his team at DYD!

I visited Dickens Yard Dental last week for an invisalign consultation - fantastic service from start to finish. Dr. Sahil was extremely engaging, he took the time to understand what I was looking for and how we could achieve it given the alignment/ condition of my teeth and gums. Dr Sahil, his team, and his lovely Mother and Aunt on reception are so welcoming, professional and made me feel really at ease. Dr Sahil explained everything thoroughly, pausing regularly to ask if i had any questions. Having felt a bit anxious about visiting the dentist due to recent experiences, Sahil couldn't have put me more at ease. Sahil is a great dentist that makes the experience less stressful and almost enjoyable! He gives detailed explanations on what needs to be done, the costs and the schedule. His tools are very modern, and there is even a TV on the ceiling ! I brought my 4 years old for his first check ever and Sahil knew how to make him comfortable, and could proceed with the checks even if my son did not want to sit on the chair. The first time I stepped into the clinic, I was welcomed warmly by the lovely Dipti who has the most friendly and welcoming manner, this is a recurring theme with everyone here. I had a new patient consultation with Sahil who took his time to explain all different aspects of my teeth and addressed all the points I had raised in my patient form which I really appreciated. He has a professional manner and is very knowledgeable but doesn't use jargon and explains things simply. He will always make sure you feel at ease in his futuristic surgery! I have also had a hygienist appointment with Colin who takes great pride in his work and made my teeth look cleaner than my original dentist ever did. I'd only been to a dentist 2 months prior but the improvement was very visible. I've since started Invisalign with Sahil who again explained and took great care to make sure I was comfortable throughout, though he kept saying it's not nice/comfortable, I felt almost no discomfort! The clinic is fairly new but I would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends as I've had such a good experience with everyone at this clinic as they genuinely care about their patients.

Definitely amazing! Beyond my expectations! I was there for a simple teeth hygiene routine and initially had an appointment with Dr. Sahil Thakkar and his assistant who gave me every possible explanation about the health of my gums and teeth and how I can improve it by showing me details of those in a realistic 3D mockup on your screen. It helps me a lot to visualize my gum problems and where I'm slack. He also helped me with the perfect toothbrush for my treatment and made me comfortable in deciding the best option for my future treatments. As an extra, he sent me a copy of my simulation of the Invisalign treatment outcome. Tomorrow I will see a hygienist in the same place to start my treatment. The girls at the front desk and his assistant were equally nice and friendly. Five stars!
