Since childhood I have been terrified of going to the dentist. My husband has been a patient of Dr Robertson’s for over 25 years and on his recommendation, I also became his patient 2 years ago. Guy’s dedicated professionalism and calm approach has helped me overcome my fear of the dentist’s chair, which means I now not only have the best looked after teeth in town, but they look pretty amazing too!

I first met Guy Robertson whilst he was studying at the UCL nearly 30 years ago. Guy has been my dentist now for over 25 years, and I would highly recommend him. His courteous manner means that I have always felt relaxed when in the surgery. His caring demeanour means that I have never felt any stress. For an octogenarian, my teeth have been kept in very good shape over the years., thanks to the hygienists care and Guy’s regular check ups. His treatments have included fillings and repairs, two crowns and deep root canal treatment with Graham Bailey. I highly recommend him.

My husband and I have been going to Dr Robertson for 18 years now. As an American, I am stereotypically very fussy about my teeth. With Dr Robertson and the office hygienists, I have always had the best treatment, care, consultation and am happy to smile with the teeth they take such good care of! Dr Robertson is unquestionably a 5 star dentist. When I first went to him I had numerous dental problems , all of which were fixed, including a recommendation to an excellent orthodontist. More recently I have sent my son to be treated and he is thrilled by how much better his teeth feel and look. Dr Robertson's colleagues are also outstanding and the hygienists do a great job. Everyone is unfailingly friendly and charming (I'm baffled by the 1 star review below). If you like cool music, motorbikes and guitars as well as wanting the best care for your teeth, Guy is your man.

Guy Robertson has been attending to my dental needs for about 25 yrs and I can genuinely say he has never caused me any pain - not even when injecting an anaesthetic! He is an outstanding professional and focuses on proactive preventative dentistry. The result is that I still have a good set of teeth in my mid fifties, which, are repaired and maintained, only when absolutely necessary. His practice is equipped with the latest "state of the art" equipment and his staff are well trained, friendly and professional.Guy is actually a very interesting man, charming and always a pleasure to visit. In recent years I insisted that my son and daughter (both at University) see Guy as well, because I believe he is at the very top of his game and my adult children, like me, should protect their dental health with help from one of the best in the dentistry profession.

After a recommendation from a friend, I visited Guy with my 12 year old daughter who had previously been very nervous of the dentist. Guy immediately put her at ease and had a lovely manner about him. He explained everything very clearly before the treatment, but also took the time during the treatment to explain what he was doing and what she might feel. My daughter had to have a tooth extracted and needs to return twice more for the same procedure. Amazingly she is not worried or concerned about this! I would highly recommend Guy, he's approach and dental care is superior and his approach with children is excellent.

Dr. Robertson has been my dentist for 30 years. That says it all really! The quality of treatment and care provided has always been exemplary. I cannot recommend both him and his staff at the Plowman and Partners practice highly enough.

When the good fairy gave me gifts she forgot good teeth. So I need an excellent dentist and am fortunate to have found one in Dr Robertson. I’ve been attending for some 15 years and have met all the partners during that time. My first treatment was for a serious gum infection but more recently I’ve successfully completed procedure for a couple of implants. I had a couple done a few years’ ago and have been pleased with them. The most recent ones were a more complex affair and for one key session Mr Edworthy added vital expertise and both dentists were involved. All procedures, costs and options are clearly explained before any action is taken. I felt involved and reassured at each stage. I regularly see the hygienist. The dental assistants and reception are invariably pleasant, polite and efficient. Teeth can be troublesome and mine are tricksy. I’m relieved and pleased to have found Plowman and Partners.

This review is written to say how pleased I am with the treatment that I have received from Dr Robertson. I simply wish that I had found him years ago. It’s difficult to write it without, with a couple of exceptions, bemoaning dental treatment that I have had in the past and making comparisons. However, I’ll just say that my mouth was a mess and I badly needed to find a dentist with high expertise and, most importantly, in whom I could trust. I began my search by looking on the website of Plowman and Partners. This was because a few decades ago I had been treated there by a brilliant dentist, Dr William Lloyd. Unfortunately, a change in my circumstances at the time stopped me from continuing to get treatment there. Reading Dr Robertson CV on Plowman’s website and seeing that for many years he would have worked alongside the now retired Dr Lloyd encourages me to make an appointment. Quiet simply I was impressed with Dr Robertson’s examination and assessment of my oral situation and decided to proceed with his suggestions for treatment. This involved having an implant removed from a bridge, a couple of extractions and four crowns fitted. The removal of the implant meant having the jawbone cleaned of peri implantitis and the bridge cut to a new one-tooth fit. Not easy but it succeeded. The crowns are snug and seamless with a good match to the rest of my mouth. I’ll conclude by saying I wish I’d found Dr Robertson years ago and had not let finances hold me back. If I had I’d have more teeth in my mouth now and wouldn’t have thrown money down the drain on bad dentistry. Thank you

As a family, we have been treated by Guy for over 28 years, after our daughter had a riding accident and damaged her front teeth. He saved the front teeth and the standard of care and treatment has always been exemplary. We are so satisfied and confident in his care, we wouldn’t dream of going elsewhere, even though we have to travel some distance for appointments. We would give him 10 stars if we could!

The practice's routine regime ensures a minimum of interventions but when they have been needed, from fillings to implants, Dr Roberson's treatment has been absolutely excellent. Dr Guy Robertson is pleased with the state-of-the-art dentistry equipment he has had installed as a result. It enables him to show off his skills to even greater effect. He would rather do anything than take a tooth out, so he prefers to perform small miracles instead.
