From receptionists to dentists, a thoroughly welcoming and helpful team that make things easier to deal with. Have recommended them to few friends, who’ve been happy too.

I am a BAD patient and I travelled from Preston to London JUST because of the reviews and I was not disappointed! I had terrible toothache and was very concerned about the slightest pain (believe me!). From the receptionist booking me in (with reassurance) to Phil who was the dentist and his able assistant (so sorry I can;t recall her name now) they were brilliant. I was in there for 2 hours (my worst nightmare), during which time I had a lot of work done including the removal of a root and nerve from my tooth. I can only remember slightly jumping three times during that time as Phil ensured I was fully loaded with anesthetic, and wow, what a difference that all made. Sure I am traveling back on the train now and can’t feel any part of my face, but that’s because I asked for no pain in the chair, and that’s exactly what I got. The journey and expense was totally worth it and so take it from me, if you’re wondering where to go for a brilliant dentist then look absolutely no further!!! Thanks Phil and everyone - I really appreciate your care and attention to my very “needy” needs.

Flawless skills and a pain free experience. The best dentists that have ever looked after me! I needed a root canal and was terrified it'd be painful. But my fear was for nothing! Gavin gave me an excellent anaesthetic so I felt no pain. The only discomfort I felt was having my mouth open for so long, but to be honest, I was so comfortable I nearly fell asleep! He also chatted to me the whole time which also made me feel quite soothed. The repeat xrays a few months later also showed the root canal was exactly where it was meant to be down to the last millimeter. I then had a crown down by Kevin. Funnily enough, my closest family and friends can't even tell I've had any work done! The crown is so well matched to the rest of my teeth and I didn't even need to change to a new retainer because the fit was so perfectly matched to my previous tooth. He was meticulous with his work while being warm and reassuring. I am confident this crown will last for absolutely ages. Thank you so much to Gavin, Kevin, and the rest of team!

I've been coming to Finsbury Dental for well over a decade - fantastic practice, can't recommend highly enough. I used to be afraid of going to the dentist, then a friend of a friend recommended I go to see Adam- and I've been going ever since. Everyone at the practice is extremely nice and kind, and all my treatment has been first rate. Last week I needed some emergency work and I was fitted in at the last minute even though they were fully booked up- I was in a lot of pain and appreciated it so much. So glad I heard about Finsbury all those years ago, I can't imagine what state my teeth would be in now, if I hadn't!

I moved to Finsbury Dental Care when my dentist Vania Hiratsuka Dalmedo left her previous clinic and joined this one. Having been under her care since 2002 after my colleague recommended her to me, I have gone on to introduce some of my friends and also my wife, FDC is a good surgery but it was the high level of care that I have received over the years from Ms Dalmedo that has brought me there. I'm not the best patient as I tend to go when I need to but I will no doubt search out her services no matter where she is practicing.

And what a relief it was to come back under the outstanding and professional care of Adam Clapp. I can honestly say that this is the best dental practice I have ever used. Finsbury Dental Care is the best dentist practice I have ever visited (and I have been to many after knocking my front tooth out when I was younger). I first saw Gavin Seal in relation to potential root canal treatment and he was brilliant and extremely honest (and actually ended up saving me around £700 when other dentists has recommended other procedures due to his extensive knowledge and practical experience!). I then continued having routine treatment at the practice with Adam Clapp who is extremely skilled, gentle and thorough. Adam always takes care in explaining things and puts me at ease. Unlike other dentists, I never feel rushed through my appointment and he always happy to answer any questions (and is also always on time). Adam is again very honest and if I need a filling/ treatment he will explain exactly why. I have also emailed the reception a few times with questions and he will personally respond with advice. I don't usually write reviews but feel this dentist deserves it!

I went to the clinic requiring fairly extensive dental work on my front tooth that I was quite apprehensive about. I was immediately put at ease by the professional and friendly reception staff who helped me with my initial appointment. My root canal and crown were handled by Gavin and Adam respectively. Both were intensely professional and put me at ease by consistently explaining what they were doing and why. Rather than simply fixing the immediate problem, the team at Finsbury Dental Care addressed the problem at the root (pardon my pun) giving me a long term solution and a quality smile.
